I have been cursed with Time Zone so i will never be able to watch a fable stream because they're always at like 5am ish and I CAN NOT stay up that long i have school. the only chance i have is winter holidays but consider. i am eepy.

IM BAD AT REMEMBERING TO PROMOTE THINGS BUT IM IN SOME REALLY COOL HALLOWEN STREAMS THIS WEEK!!

First up, I’m taking part in a radical 90’s themed Halloween D&D one-shot alongside some familiar faces!! Then, at NOON (12PM) OCTOBER 29TH PST, I’ll be taking part in a super cool charity livestream event: Build Fright!! The event is being run by @heyhay13 as part of Gamers Outreach Spooktacular Streamathon, with all proceeds going towards the charity for the support of research and care for hospitalised children and their families!

Myself and @jamphibiann make up THE BATS (the best team, obviously, look at our little guy) and we’re very excited to see you there!! Numerous people listed below will be streaming the event from their different perspectives, so make sure to keep an eye out!!

And also, in case anyone following me isn’t in the FableSMP Fan Discord/been made aware, the Fable SMP Festival of Light (Autumn Seasonal Event) will be taking place at 4PM OCTOBER 28TH PST, where I will also be hanging around!! It’s a super big lore event that the cast has been working hard on for a long time now!

Ulysses has put a lot of effort into Kelpin’s stall at the festival, and not only do they have some new stock to unveil in collaboration with Centross, there might even be some new faces appearing in the ongoing Tuskly-Telenovella 👀

Tales from the SMP Ideas

So, obviously I really love Karl’s idea for these “Tales from the SMP” and after he asked for story ideas, I had to hit my head a few times until I could come up with something to share on Twitter. The first batch wasn’t too great, but the second time around, it was a little better. 

For me, I’m taking these ideas as fabels/legends. Stories that Philza would tell his kids by the fireplace rather than backstories on the characters themselves. So the stories aren’t necessarily about the SMP characters themselves. Karl seemed to explain the idea to be as such, something part of the lore, but not the main lore. It seemed like a lot of people took it as backstories to characters and stuff, but to me that’s main lore shit rather than a side story. 

If it’s supposed to be like fables, backstories, or both, either way, it’s a super cool idea and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with. But anyways, here are some of my ideas:

Any story that could be played as a Greek Tragedy. There’s a hero who’s adored, but due to one fatal flaw, they lose everything and it could be used as a warning to those who stray from the path given to them. 

Different legends or myths that Dream might be some ancient creature that has been living on the smp for a lot longer than what people might think. 

Stories that can explain the things that happen in the smp, like why there’s mobs (maybe a punishment from the gods) or why the bees are so big, something like that. 

Stories about heroes that hypothetical children in the city of L’Manburg can look up to/idolize like we tend to do with superheroes and such. 

Maybe one about a forbidden part of the smp because something spooky or tragic happened on those lands, so it’s closed off from everyone. 

Maybe backstories to traditions that could be made on the SMP? Like the lighting of lanterns or different festivals (ones without public executions).

The only idea I really like is the last one, because I think it would be cool if they had different traditions, holidays, or things like that for the SMP outside of traditional holidays like Christmas. The rest are kinda just generalized ideas.

But again, whatever he has planned, I can not wait.
