OCS DESERVE BETTER --> Beatrice Morgan (Red Dead Redemption 2)

Beatrice Morgan is the daughter of Arthur Morgan and Eliza and a younger sister to Isaac. She was born a few years after her older brother. When the robbers came, Eliza initially shoved both Beatrice and Isaac into the little root cellar under the floor of their tiny cabin. However, Isaac quickly climbed out, telling a young Beatrice to stay put, that he would “help Mama” since Arthur had already taught him how to shoot and Eliza kept a spare handgun in the bedroom in case something like this ever happened.

The root cellar was relatively hidden so when the robbers ransacked the tiny cabin they never found Beatrice. The little girl was tear stained and shell shocked when she finally managed to open the cellar door and found both the bodies of her mother and older brother. 

Their closest neighbor was a few miles away and would often check in on the little family in between Arthur’s visits and was the one to find Beatrice curled up sobbing next to the bodies. Knowing Arthur’s visits were sporadic they took Beatrice in, took care of burying Eliza and Isaac and making the crosses, and left a note on the door for Arthur to find whenever he next showed up.

Not even a month after their deaths, Arthur got another chance to visit and was greeted with two crosses and a note saying where he could find Beatrice. The girl was a far cry from the cheerful, bubbly one he remembered from months past. Now she was quiet, withdrawn, and basically attached to him like a lamprey when she realized he had showed up.

Despite knowing the outlaw life was the last place to raise any child, let along a young girl, Arthur wasn’t able to just leave her with the neighbors and keep doing his monthly visits. So Beatrice gets to meet the entire current Van der Linde gang who are all surprised Arthur even had children, much less brought his only surviving one into their life.

Slowly she managed to come out of her shell and warmed up to different members, especially Hosea and Miss Grimshaw - much to Arthur’s joy and terror. Still, she finds herself sticking close to Arthur and consistently worrying until he comes riding back into camp.

Despite being a good few years older than him, she is also close to Jack as he’s the only member even slightly close to her age.
