Anne was one of tha designs I enjoyed the least when I first put together their references so I definitely used this as a prompt to figure her out some more with shapes adn all that :)

She’s a very normal old woman and she is usually always on the sidelines of her teams bullshit because she has too much sense to try and get between any of them at any given moment. (I imagine most of the mercs think they’re better than most of their team on some level, but she’s the only one who’s right when she thinks that. At least when it comes to common sense skills)

These are just some character building idea doodles… meemaw off the shits I love her!

Being normal but also SO fucked up and upsetting is a Conagher family trait btw. Not exactly sure what all she gets up to but she’s a strange old lady. She’s just really good at not announcing it to the world. It’s simply not your business what crimes against god she’s committing!

you’re absolutely right and I’m so sorry. She’s been one of the hardest to pin down but this ask inspired me to give her more appreciation. Gobless you. Here’s some images

Um. Big? Tall. I’ll never understand the way people slim down any iteration of fem medic like. She should be just as ripped as he is. This is how love wins. Medic is pretty similar to canon medic in regards to her appearance, but that’s counteracted by their very different personalities. She’s a lot more professional than he is, holding herself and her work in high regard. Their methods are more alike than she’d admit in regards to the whole “affront to god” theme, but she’s convinced in one way or another that she’s on a higher level than he is just because she doesn’t do a mad scientist laugh every time she has some sort of breakthrough.

She uses her monopoly on healing to keep the rest of her team on a tight leash. If they act up when she’s around (or just annoy her at the wrong time of day) they can kiss any direct support on the battlefield goodbye. And any support they want outside of work hours is done through a barter system. As in, they come to her with broken arms or missing limbs, and she berates them for whatever stupid thing they were doing and says she’ll fix them if they let her try out some new super cool and safe method she’s been planning or whatever. Normal woman hours.

Her teams engineer is the one thing keeping her from total control of the team on account of her own support mechanics. and Medic HATES her for that. Old woman rivalry

With your fem fortress team, what’s Demo’s relation with canon Demo?

Yvaine (Fem Demo) was the biological kid of Demo’s original adoptive parents, making them adoptive siblings!

They only knew each other when they were both very young, falling out of contact when Demo’s biological parents finally came back into the picture and took Demo back in, leaving Yvaine to grow up at the Crypt Grammar School for Orphans by herself. They got along pretty well when they were younger! Though the relationship got a bit rocky on account of the whole . Incident

But thats ok! Im sure several decades to sit with the consequences of the event and no real outlet to grieve properly means that finally meeting again as adults could not possibly be strange or uncomfortable! And im sure theyre both absolutely going to address the massive elephant in the room!
