To make matters worse, 'world-class centre-back' Rafael Varane joined through the transfer window this summer. As a result, he experienced the humiliation of being excluded from the UEFA Champions League (UCL) roster. United tried to dispose of Jones, but the transfer was thwarted as he refused.

After returning from a recent knee injury, Jones used to keep his senses in the second-team league. He was also named as a substitute in the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup) against West Ham United. However, in the end, he could not step on the pitch and left the field lonely.

Jones has a contract with Manchester United until 2023. It also includes an extension option, allowing you to stay until 2024. According to the media, Jones' weekly salary is £130,000.
