The company behind palworld also made a shovel knight clone and a jackbox ripoff that pushes ai art too, I'm not even a Pokemon fan but seeing so many people defend and push a pokemon clone made by the most red flaggiest of companies who have zero og ideas so they steal from others, is..depressing to say the least. Because consuming and having fun trumpts over everything?

I won't deny Pocketpair does seem to have a somewhat questionable history of trend chasing. If that puts you off them then don't support them, but they seem to have finally made the big hit they've been searching for so I wouldn't be surprised if they buckle down a bit more now to focus on Palworld for the foreseeable future.

Again, I'm not on my soapbox to say that Pocketpair don't deserve criticism but instead to say if people are going to do so it should be based in fact rather than just latching onto parroted lies about AI/asset theft in an attempt to frame simply not liking PP/PW as some righteous moral crusade.
