Welcome to The Any Fandom Fansong Tournament!

Inspired by blogs such as @fnaf-fansong-showdown and @bestutfanonpoll (apologies for the ping), welcome to the all fandom fansong showdown! The bracket is currently in Round 1A. Multiple songs per artist (and per fandom) are allowed, but I will cap them at a certain point.

I'm not going to place any firm rules on what you submit, but it is my discretion to remove a song, artist, or fandom from the tournament. Keep that in mind.

Anyway I can't really think of another thing to say, (but I'm probably missing something important so leave questions in my inbox) so have at it!

apparently this one fnaf highschool animation got an edit made from it on tiktok using a daycore version of Hard Drive, and that kind of momentarily popularized Hard Drive, and therefore, that Hard Drive edit?

Because most people don't know the name it's usually reuploaded under "it's a showdown in the spotlight" and looking that up, there's like a gazillion reuploads of that edit and it's audio, and they've all gotten thousands of views. There's even been a reanimation of it! (the one by TBS)

I feel bad for the original editor (undercard1 on Tiktok) because of how many times it's been reposted, and a little bit for the already underrated Mettaton, but man... Win for DJ! I like this better than squidward's nose - not because it's less raunchy, I love and subscribe to the idea that he plays raunchy ass music the moment it's afterhours, it's just, well. Be honest. Squidward's nose is the Human DJ anthem, not robo DJ's. that and it's a Mettaton fansong and mettaton serves cunt

maybe this has been already known for awhile but it makes me happy s'all
