I wish we had more sea-serpent like dragon types. Guardians are Great but being both one of the starter breeds and pretty chill in monstrosity dulls their shine for me.

Dilemerus

Lore vs Lair (how do they present in lore vs lair?):

In lore, Dilemerus are one huge aberration, with four heads (and therefore four different dragons), four front legs, two back legs, and four wings, two of which are artificially shrunken.

In my lair, they take the form of two separate dragons, Delilah (Combination of Della and Lilah) and Emerus (Em and Nerus).

Backstory

Dilemerus (Della, Lilah, Em, and Nerus) are an aberration formed by four lovers who decided to be together forever, albeit in a more literal manner than most would choose.

Della is their resident troublemaker and while she always (never) has plausible deniability, she usually gets ratted out by one of the three she's attached to. (She/her)

Lilah might be the closest thing my lair has to a prom queen: elegant, cruel, and willing to beat your ass. (She/xe/no pronouns)

Em is the local sweetheart, and willing to help out anytime; from baking with Araceli to helping Nuthilyan put someone's front legs out of business. (they/them)

Nerus is a very motivated scientist, and sees being attached to three others as no downside. He is almost constantly working, but enjoys just being with his other three. (he/they)

#nothing big just decided to doodle dragons and I liked this sketch #my thought process was to make a character a child would like #and that quickly decended into making a character I as a child would like #because I was obessed with dragons and the colour green #so A was about making a palette I'd like as a child and was highkey based off of toothless from the httyd books #C was coloured with my current favourite colours in mind which is mainly like that mint/teal range and some purples #i stayed closer to the green range cause I was still trying to keep my child self in mind #B was different cause as you can see they're not green #while doodling this it felt like some weird mix between book toothless the spirals and couriers from fr and an old oc called Churro #I made Churro when I was 12 and trying to find an art style. Back then it was chibis with heads the sizes of their bodies and small dot eyes #Churro was just a small dragon who appeared occasionally in one sketch book but they just stuck with me #while not a main oc sometimes i still think of Churro. So this kind of turned into Churro maybe. #I could go behind a bunch of stuff for Churro even though they didn't have a plot or personality. Just nostalgia #anyway Churro did get a blue redesign back? but I think I imagined them as yellowy/orange due to it being the colour of a churro #while they're not quiet churro coloured its sort of like churro dough and the brown is like chocolate which is what my primary school put on #them (we had churros ever chinease new years in KS1 for some reason and I LOVED IT) #so yeah this turned into a total nostalgia fest and thanks you for coming to my tag talk

idk much about specific dragons on fr but i see people talking about naomi a lot why is she so popular?

there was some cool stuff that happened with a glitch in 2016 (i was there for it and it was Exciting) but heres a post that explains it! by now shes kind of a legend and her lineage is worth money. I have a 4th gen descendant Ophelia, thats why when she has nests hatch i mention it on here bc theyre Worth Money. Naomi’s been integrated into a lot of ppls lore at this point, when it happened we called her like the glitch queen, queen of the exalts, etc lol

(the linked post also shows some older FR things like the couriers that used to drop off everything you bought from the AH in your messages seperately instead of the system we have now which is fun if you didnt know that used to be a thing lol)
