Stop iitttt the idea of someone cutting off Lucifer's wings/ him cutting them off to save Charlie is..... it's in my head now. Firmly planted. Especially if we throw in a little extra 'I already went through this once, what's a second round!' spice. I have been struggling to find a good/ believable plot where in I can hurt the guy (lol) and it alwayssss comes back to Charlie or another person he cares about/ doesn't want to see hurt. When someone's holding a knife to the throat of a person you love, better not make any sudden movements and try to comply, especially when you can reason yourself into believing that what happens to you is extremely unimportant. Ugh, you have giving me so much to think about as always...

He has to keep up a cheerful face for Charlie! You know she's going to be deeply upset, she's going to be horrified, she feels the full gravity of the situation! But her deep-set sympathy is not a boon, at least not right now, because he's doing this to protect her and he's damn well not going to let her get hurt further by emotionally scarring her for life or anything! It's fine! Gosh, imagine if he just fell apart, haha - but don't worry, Charlie, it's not that bad. He just has to - breathe through it. It's all good. Don't feel guilty. Don't let the blood he's spilling leave a permanent stain on your relationship.
