#yes his ability to make people magically fall asleep--alphas theory aside--was ridiculous #but my god. there's both some really funny moments #and genuinely good emotional beats #the whole thing about sophie not being in the book #and honestly i just really like the character of the fake mastermind guy hes so funny. scrungly. #and the whole insight into nate being the only one to appreciate the accountants at IYS #and this guy being like 'he was so supportive! and kind!' and they'r elike #'NATE? NATE FORD?
