Wu is an icon because he gets infected by some disease that makes him turn into some sort of feral creature if he gets too emotional, and instead of freaking out about it he immediately gets a handle on it and spends the entire beginning of season 6 like
Grimm reveales that the boss is working against the protagonist at the end of the pilot and it still has the better suspense and emotional pay off than other shows mucking around with the same reveal for a whole season or longer.
Kelly to Nick: “This child has an extraordinary destiny. In the wrong hands it could do great evil. But in the right hands, it could do great good … How she is raised will make all the difference in who she becomes.”
Me knowing full well Nick ends up raising her with Adalind:
Another Grimm moment I like: when Hank is very hesitantly bringing up the idea of demonic possession, and Nick is just like “Well yeah I don’t see why not”
Shoutout to the captain being honest to Rosalee that after the purification process he didn’t know what was happening or where he was, which was something that was probably awful for the ever-collected captain to admit to someone he’d just met.
And how vulnerable he looked when he asked Rosalee what would happen if this didn’t work? besties, your honour. And it even looked like they sat down to have tea!! Why isn’t there more content of these characters simply vibing together?
