Hi Pinocchio: Learn Programming in Small Basic (Newbie) Algorithm! a word you might have heard a lot ... Al-Khwarizmi (محمد بن موسی خوارزمی) was a Persian scientist and polymath. His name gave rise to the word "Algorithm" https://skl.sh/3opfXRX Have you ever struggled with decisions and not knowing where to start? Have you ever get confused in taking steps of solving a problem in daily life? By learning algorithmic thinking you can feel more comfortable in those situation.  And programming with fun is a great way to practice algorithmic thinking.  https://skl.sh/3opfXRX  Do you think programming is difficult?  Do you feel you can not learn it?  Do you have a limiting belief like I am too young for it or I am older than the proper age to learn?  Do you think it is boring?  May be they are all myth!  Come with me in my WaffleCode classes and we together taste the fun and joy of learning programming.  https://skl.sh/3opfXRX

Train your Brain with this Online Color Matching Game
Tumblr media
Hi, I write this in a school break time (summer in north hemisphere and winter in south hemisphere)  So you might have missed a game, but if you read this not in a break, always a good game is welcomed!  The game would be on a color wheel  but wait! that color wheel that we see everywhere was an idea by Sir Isaac Newton in Isaac Newton in 1666  [lesson 5 of my color class]
Tumblr media
To play the game we go to this websitecolor.method.ac  If you need you can use its tools to calibrate monitor or turn on color blind assist.  The the game start
Then the stages of game start ,stages are "
Hue,
Saturation,
Complementary,
Analogous,
Triadic and
Tetradic
(The names seems confusing! I will explain them all just be with me)
Tumblr media
The challenge is that you move your mouse or finger to where that you make the colors as close as the the defined color.
It is interactive and you can easily move but the point is that you should do it in a limited time.  After that if gives you result: such as
poor,
average,
good,
very good,
perfect
I found this game a very good interactive and fun casual game to practice color wheel concepts such as hue and saturation.
***********************
Now let me explain you about the names  Hue is about the name of color it self like red, magenta, blue, ...
Comment below this topic: we now rainbows is a continues spectrum but if we want to paint it for children how many hue we  would draw for them? Saturation is about how is the intensity of that color, how pure is that color, for example do you find it as an intense red?  And if you ask me what about how much a color is dark or bright or is close to white or black, I have explained it in real colors in lesson 4 of my color class
Tumblr media
Then the game asks you to do a complementary color challenge. Complementary color palette is about when you choose colors on two exact opposite side of a color wheel.  As I explained in lesson 5 of my color class it can affect our feelings and has psychology behind it for example it can be used in visually telling a romantic scene.
Tumblr media
Next level of the game would be challenging you in making analogous color palettes
Analogous color palettes consists of 3 hue of colors but on a color wheel they are side by side. So can you gues what emotional affects it can form? can you recall a movie scene that this type of palette is used? You can learn more about it in lesson 8 of my color class
Tumblr media
The game  then invites you to make triadic palette. Triadic means three, the same as analogous it has 3 colors but not close together can you guess how they are placed on a color wheel?  Yes, diverse. Can you feel how vibrant would be the feeling of a triadic palette? In what designs or stories would you like to use them?  lesson 6 of my color class teach you ideas about them.
Tumblr media
And if we choose 4 colors in on a color wheel we call it tetradic palette or a hint for you we also call it double complementary as if we choose two set of complementary colors. Last level of the game is about Tetradic palette.  Lesson 7 of my color class is completely about double complementary (tetradic) palette.
Tumblr media
The game finish here.  But if you are interested to know if there are any other palettes or not, I should say "yes"
We have split complementary palette, which has three colors, imagine you have 3 colors in a analogous palette then you pick the middle one and bring it to the opposite side.  The place is not important, always think about and analyze the feeling and effect of the palette in your mind, so you use them in a best way in your designs or storytelling.  Lesson 9 of my color class  discuss it.
Tumblr media
In Lesson 3 of my color class I teach a fast forward trick in both Adobe Photoshop and in Gimp. The trick is about applying a color palette of an image for example a shot of movie, to your own image or photo.  To get notified of my upcoming contest in this, please make sure to hit follow button of my profile on SKILLShare , Instagram and Youtube.
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading this article. Hope you enjoy playing the game.
Like this post so I can find out it is reached to you.  till next time ... good bye..

celebration cake + Teens Among us
Tumblr media
Hi dear one with a creative soul,  In the past year dear Skillshare team sometimes sent me emails saying "Congrats! your class A reached 25  " "Congrats! your class B reached 100 students " "Congrats! your class C reached 250 students!" ... I was thinking that  wow! our community of students in my online classes in English is now around 500! Let's celebrate it.  I thank every single of you, this is all because of you and your trust.  This would not happen without you and your attention.  I plan to make a CLUB special for you and provide you with special contents. ( Which platform you prefer to join a group? Telegram, linkedin, whatsapp or facebook or other?) Thank you sincerely,  -Hadis Malekie PS: Past week, I published my new class. I  have made a fun scenario of class and project for it, I like this class and I am sure it will help  -Teen and youth who want to start learning programming  -Artists who like to use code in their art but they fear it might be sophisticated.  So if you know a teen in your family or around, or you know a person at any age who like to learn programming but fears please forward this email to them and introduce my class to them.  Thanks

Choosing Colors for Visual Storytelling and Animation from Hadis Malekie on Vimeo.
In this class, you’ll learn how to pick and use colors to tell a story. When you tell a story, you create a world in your audiences’ minds. Use my special link to watch my class and enjoy limited time free membership skl.sh/2VP7dtM
But deciding on colors can be overwhelming, there are so many! We need to consider not only our story, but what colors go well together, and how to apply these colors to your illustration or frame, all while still keeping that story in mind.
This class seeks to demystify this process by introducing you to a few tried and true palettes to get you thinking about using color more intentionally. Throughout this class, we’ll explore these different palettes (Monochromatic, Complementary, Triadic, Tetradic, Split Complementary, and Analogous), and how to apply them to:
Get a pleasant result or an unpleasant one, depending on how you want the audience to experience the scene. Guide the audience’s attention to a specific object, character or action in a scene. Communicate with the audience what they should feel according to the story, for example telling a horror sequence with vibrant playful colors can deliver a different meaning like fantasy or comedy.
