Man I’ve been waiting on this episode since the end of season 3, to finally see whats going on in Markovia since Brion/ the Light took over and to have reconciliation between him and Violet.

I feel that Brion gets a bad rap for his impatience and hot headed nature but that’s not all he is. He’s a good friend who is accepting of other outcasts and lost souls like halo and forager. He’s ultimately a guy that wants to right the wrongs that were done to him and his family, with his parents death, the kidnaping of his sister, and banishment by his own brother (who at least at the time didn’t have ill will towards). 

Brion dose what he thinks is right but has a knack for having the tables turned on him like with his uncle pinning all the meta-human trafficking on him, or having his meta-human sanctuary hijacked to become a meta-human army by Baazovi and the Light . 

I’m so glad that him and Violet got to talk about what paths they wanted to go down in life and that they both wish the other could be with them on their journey. I love that Violet is also learning more about themselves and growing more as a person. They are no longer a naive lost soul of a motherbox who needs that fix everyone. Them choosing to follow the Islamic faith, going by they/them pronouns, and even considering a new relationship with Haper Row shows that they are their own person now 

I will say that I am bias when it comes to who Violet should be with romantically. I thought that Violet and Brion were the cutest couple during the first half of season 3 and even though they went through some big ass rough patches in the second half with Helga trying break them up. I’m happy they were able to persevere until that last episode when shit hit the fan again in their relationship. Would I be happy to see them back together again? yeah no doubt I would. Would it also be better for them to be with other people or just not be in a relationship at all? also yes. But who know if this will even be fully resolved by the end of the season cuz we got a lot least going on before the season ends.

OK so I just got done watching episodes four, five, and six of young justice season three and here are some of my thoughts

Damien and Jason are HERE! I’m not ready! I’m NOT okay! But I’m here for it!

When Dick started quoting Bruce from the pilot, I was SHOOK!

All the references to Wally. I’M NOT OKAY! I repeat I. AM. NOT. OKAY!

We went into M’gann’s mind and Wally appeared beside Artimis! I had to pause it and take like a five minute breather! I am not okay!

When Halo said she wanted to fix the Brion....I’m dead😂

Daddy Harper!!! I did not ask for him, but oh how glad I am that I have him! I love him! I stan! And I need more!
