I’m 38+1 weeks pregnant and exactly 1 week away from our planned c-section date.

I feel excited, nervous and impatient to meet our newest family member that will take us from a 4 to a 5!

Although I do love the feeling of being pregnant this pregnancy has definitely tested me more than I seem to remember my others. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m older, there’s been a bigger gap or just the lottery of every pregnancy is different. There’s also the factor that this summer has been the hottest summer London has seen for years!!! ( I keep thinking I will definitely be one of those women saying ‘ I was heavily pregnant during the heatwave of 2018!) But some or all of these combined have contributed to exhaustion, swollen feet/ hands and feeling guilty on my two older children. Ive felt pressure to make their summer holiday fun, busy and not be the beached whale mum. I’m aware I’m over thinking and analysing the kids every mood to help prepare them for the change and really I should just let it be as it will be but it’s so hard to not want this transition to run smoothly and me being me try and plan and control it!

Ultimately I know that in one weeks time I will be holding a beautiful bubba that will complete our family, bring us love and happiness and only strengthen our glue we already have. Sometimes in life we can come unstuck but as long as we take each day at a time and support each other those roots stay strong.

Here’s to living in the present, starting new chapters and celebrating the amazingness that is life.

Despite Bella pushing down on the gas pedal, it felt like the car was going at the same speed to Scott. The rumbling from his stomach and his groaning filled the car and the pain was getting worse due to his seatbelt restricting the growth and movement of the mound. His hand grabbed hold of his seat belt buckle and was about to push the button to get the stupid thing off to be free of some pain.

“Keep your seat belt on, Scott.” Barry urged.

“Why?!” Scott hissed as he felt the mound push harder against the seat belt.

“Just in case we crash.”

Scott's face turned red with rage and he raised a foot, only to end up slamming it into the back of Barry's seat. Causing the scientist to gasp from the surprise attack from behind.

“I Fucking hate you!!!” Scott snapped as he continued to kick the back of the seat.

“Ow, ow! Okay, you can hate me all you want. Just stop it!” Barry requested.

“Never! You'd have to cut my legs off for me to stop giving you a downright miserable time!”

“Bella...ow. Please tell me we're almost there....”

“Almost, besides you can deal with it. This is all your fault really.” Bella commented.

“I get it alright! Don't take your work home with you and go out an get drunk due to your frustrations! I GET IT! Stop kicking the back of my seat!”

Scott moved a hand to be against the seat belt and he pushed it away from him as much as he could. Though his stomach immediately took over what little space he was able to make for it. Three buttons broke off of his shirt though only one of em was launched at the seat he was kicking. Though he was trying to regain his breath from the effort it took for him to kick the back of Barry's seat and from the terrible pressure in his stomach. It wasn't getting any better with the kicking going on either from his cramped passengers. Even with the seat belt restraining it, his stomach looked like a woman with quads though Scott knew it was much bigger than that and it was just the restraint of the seat belt making it look the size it was.

While he'd been too busy kicking Barry's seat and going through his crazy growth spurt, the car Bella was driving had left the town behind and they were now in a forest. The car pulled up into a dirt drive way to a large building. It looked like a old medical building that didn't look so great on the outside. Feeling the car had stopped, Scott looked out the window and immediately gave a groan at the sight of the place. Bella and Barry were out of the car before Scott reached for the seat belt again and with nothing to stop him from doing so, he unlatched it as Barry opened the door for him. Though he soon felt one of Barry's hands grab onto his arm and pull him out of the car as his stomach surged forward now with the freedom to do so and destroying his shirt completly. It went past a woman due with five children, to six, to seven, to eight, and the bigger it got the more Scott's face paled till he couldn't go any paler. His legs nearly gave out on him though Barry noticed this and supported Scott, his eyes were a bit wide at the sight of Scott's growing stomach. Which soon paused at what Scott could only dread to think, could possibly be thirteen or so kids in there.

“Holly Mollie....” Barry muttered.
