Maurice Boucher (born June 21, 1953) is a Canadian murderer, reputed drug trafficker, and outlaw biker—the former President of the Hells Angels' Montreal chapter. Boucher led Montreal's Hells Angels against the rival Rock Machine biker gang during the Quebec Biker war of 1994 through 2002 in Quebec, Canada. In 2002, Boucher was convicted of ordering the murders of two Quebec prison officers in an effort to destabilize the Quebec Justice system, and is currently serving three life sentences at Canada’s only supermax prison (which was built specifically to house him) in Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines. Boucher bridged the gap between biker and gangster like no one else, he and Vito Rizzuto had such a grip on Canadas drug trade like no one has seen before (or since). Boucher essentially murdered, retired, or scared away every “independent” drug dealer in the province who didn't submit to him (allegedly, including other Hells Angels members; Boucher, who has since been expelled from the Hells Angels, ran the Nomad chapter, which was not geographically bound). The monstrous mountain of a man you see in the lead photo and below was a chap named Armond Bletcher and he was likely one of the largest humanoids to ever claim membership in the Hell’s Angels. For those of you unfamiliar, that’s a motorcycling enthusiasts club you may or may not have heard of. Bletcher was an Angel, a bodyguard to the stars, a chopper enthusiast, a leg breaker, a rumored murderer, and a Bunyanesque figure in the motorcycling world during the 1970s. He met his fate at the wrong end of a gun after reportedly shrugging off repeated blows from a baseball bat. Jesus-H-Christ this was a big ass dude. Depending on who’s telling it, Armond Bletcher was somewhere between 6′ 3″ – 6′ 8″, and tipped the scales around 300 – 350 lbs. A Fresno Hells Angel, and a feature favorite with the staff at Easyriders magazine, Armond was literally a giant among men and a controversial figure to this day. There are many colorful tales– It’s reported that as a doorman he got away with shooting a man to death, that he was a known hitman, also Frank Sinatra’s bodyguard, and that he took horse steroids to achieve and maintain his enoromous size. He met his match at the wrong end of a .357 when a baseball bat beating couldn’t diffuse his anger– just pissed him off more. He was dead at 33 yrs old.
