headcannon that when ast was pregnant for zephyr hiccup was so excited and nervous that he hardly could sleep, so he just, talked with zephyr still in the belly. For hours and hours ab literally everything, like, how was his day, what he did as a chief that day or week, how he loved his wife, how he missed toothless, ideas for future projects, literally EVERYTHING and with details. and every time he talked to zeph he calmed down enough to fall in a completely peaceful sleep without even finishing his own sentences.

all while astrid was sleeping. and she never really had a chance to see the moment because she was always asleep, (i also headcannon that she was pretty sleepy during zeph's pregnancy) until one day she ended up waking during one conversation and found it just so freaking cute that she decided to pretend to be asleep to hear it, and i'm absolutely sure she just fell in love with him all again at the moment

With the sun setting outside, the last rays of sunshine peek into the bedroom. Freshly showered and cozy, you're lying next to your boyfriend. You had returned from work later than you had planned and while exhausted from the day you were not tired enough to fall asleep just yet. 

"I missed you," Robbie sighs against your neck as his arms pull you even closer into his embrace. The bed is big enough for the two of you and yet you're cuddled so close, your back to his front, as if you only had a twin size to share.

Yuya Sakaki/The Phantom Manga Verse Bio!

Yuya Sakaki is the youngest of the four Sakaki siblings (Yuto, Yuri, Yugo, and Yuya) and was born to Yusho Sakaki and Yoko Sakaki over twenty years into the future. Prior to the World Illusion, he was an aspiring entertainment duelist, wanting to follow in the footsteps of his father. In order to hone his skills, he enrolled as a student at the Shu Zo Duel School, a successful dueling school ran by his childhood friend Yuzu Hiiragi and her father. There, he honed his craft, much to the delight of everyone. Some even said he'd make a good teacher someday.

Yuya was very close to his older brothers as well; some might even saying they were inseparable. He always supported his brothers and their interests, like cheering on Yugo during his turbo duels. He was their sunshine, their ray of hope, and always made them smile, even during the tough times.

On the day of the World Illusion, Yuya's older brothers sacrificed themselves in placing him inside the only escape pod remaining. After the pod took him to his father's secret lab below their home, his father explained to him the situation and provided him with a single mission: to find out the origins of the Genesis Omega Dragon card and in turn, destroy it. Without any more information than that, Yuya is sent back to the past, to a time before he was even born...

Such travel did not come without any hiccups, as one would expect. The process of being sent back via the World Illusion had several side effects on Yuya, ones that affected him physically and mentally.

The first of which was that his memory was shattered, forgetting many important facts including his family other than his father in addition to his history with Yuzu. He only remembers he is from the future, the mission his father gave him, the relationship between his father and Reiji Akaba's father, and that Genesis Omega Dragon destroyed his era. Everything else is either foggy or suppressed.

Relating to this, the second effect the travel caused was for the spirits of his brothers, who died in the World Illusion, to be reborn inside of his body, becoming his 'personalities' and always protecting him while keeping their true identity as his brothers a secret. They didn't want to cause Yuya any more pain than he has gone through already.

The third and final big effect is the event caused a third of the Adam Factor, a power from his future self who calls himself 'Adam', to be reborn inside of his body, the power causing one of his eyes to turn green permanently. The Adam Factor is a power that doesn't give Yuya any particular abilities he can harness, but one that is needed to fully awaken Genesis Omega Dragon. The other two-thirds of the power were reborn in Reiji Akaba and Yuzu Hiiragi, making all three targets for Eve and her organization.

Following his arrival in the past, Yuya became a Solid Vision hacker under the alias The Phantom in order to gather more information about Genesis Omega Dragon from various sources. As such, he is being hunted by Leo Corporation, who will do whatever they can to get their hands on him. He also, as fate would have it, reunites with Yuzu Hiiragi, despite neither remembering one another, and is roped into being a teacher for the failing Suzho Duel School.

He uses an Entermate deck focusing on Pendulum Summoning, and his ace monster is Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon. However, due to his brothers being inside of him, they are able to take control of his body at any time, and thus, have their cards and strategies at his disposal. He is also able to manifest things related to dueling (monsters, equipment, Yugo's duel runner) physically via Solid Vision, making him a rather unpredictable but powerful individual on and off the dueling stage.

The “When the Sun Shines on a New Hope” Ships (Belated Valentine’s Day special!)

Hello, hello, my dear friends! This is your hostess with the mostess, Miss Kani, and love is in the air (or at least, it was yesterday)! Hope you’re all doing well today.

So, to celebrate the belated occasion, I figured going ahead and explaining the ships thus far in When the Sun Shines on a New Hope! All of them will be displayed in the cut below. Now, let’s get started!

Edward Atkins and Henry Grennan

Probably the most established couple so far in this human AU. Edward is rather supportive and dedicated to Henry, while Henry does occasionally experience anxiety as a result of his previous accident with the Flying Kipper. Regardless, Henry does love his jobs and thanks to Edward, he is able to find some ways to cope if he ever feels distressed. Currently, Henry is deciding to move in with Edward at his home near the Tidmouth household.

Gordon Considine and Booker “BoCo” Williams

Both of them first met thanks to Edward, but they first interacted when Bill and Ben were being little shits menaces and trying to torment Gordon with riddles until BoCo decided to calm the twins down and save him. Ever since, Gordon had noticed that BoCo was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Gordon does get easily flustered when BoCo decides to show him affection, but their relationship has grown to become something more thanks to Edward.

Toby and Henrietta Liechti

The old married couple of the Tidmouth household, who looks after Thomas, Percy, and Mavis. Similar to Henry and Edward, they both follow a supportive and loving relationship (with one person experiencing anxiety). As wise as Toby is, he does experience a few hiccups due to overthinking and difficulty with adapting. As a result, Henrietta is always there by his side in order to support her husband and make sure he feels safe.

Oliver Greenwell and Lucian “Toad” Hargrave

Toad is the ray of sunshine to Oliver’s stormy days. Both of them were childhood friends that grew up in the same village, and even when they had faced danger and even near death/“scrap”, Oliver vowed to do what he could to protect Toad. Both of them have received their own respective scars (especially Oliver), but their close friendship eventually blossomed into a romance. While Oliver does sometimes get busy with detective work, he does what he can to make time for Toad and even enjoys some of his hobbies with him, such as visiting the aquarium and looking at whales.

Donald McIntosh and Kani Okimoto

An opposites attract deal. Donald is a charming jokester who can be rather protective if need be (especially when it concerns his brother Douglas and the other Little Western Squad members), while Kani is a devoted young lady who is able to perform her tasks with ease but becomes easily flustered when she messes up the smallest things. She… sometimes gets Donald and Douglas mixed up with each other, but Donald is rather patient and knows she’s doing her best.

Skarloey and Rheneas Llywelyn

The old married couple in the Skarloey Mansion, and the adoptive parents of Rusty, Duncan, and Luke. They were both close friends since childhood, and their relationship only grew. Even when Rheneas was sent away to recover, Skarloey never stopped waiting for his partner to return. So, when Rheneas did return, they both decided to get married and settle down. Both are rather protective of the members under their household, and they never fail to do what they can to support the kiddos’ learning and give advice whenever needed.

And finally…

Luke O’ Glaisnigh and Millie Jeanne Violette

The Princess and the Pauper, if they were a couple. Luke is rather timid, especially since he had just received closure after the entire Blue Mountain Mystery episode, and he would much rather spend his days in a forest surrounded by deer whenever he is done with his work. Meanwhile, Millie is a princess and the determined, prim, and free-spirited adopted daughter/granddaughter of Stephen. Both of them balance out each other nicely, and they exude a rather wholesome passion towards each other.

Given that Satien is a little bit... difficult to get to know. Maybe even slightly standoffish, how successful is he at leading his Free Company? Have there been any difficulties? How did he overcome these?

Quite honestly it was rough for him at least at the start, that's for sure! He actually thought one of his friends would become the Free Company leader instead, though they all voted for him, which was pretty unexpected - at least to Satien. However everyone else seemed to be quite convinced that he would be the right choice, except Satien himself.. He had quite a lot of doubts because he is quite introverted and in his opinion he isn't suited to be a leader, despite being super responsible. So when they started working officially as an Free Company there had been quite a few hiccups, the friends and Free Company Members of him are a little Chaos Squad to say the very least (In the best way possible) and he might have gotten the one or another grey hair while dealing with the mischief, mess ups of jobs and some of their pranks.

The Free Company is generally running pretty well, they have quite a wide range of things they can offer (Jobs wise), which only had been possible thanks to the connections they managed to establish. And of course the hard work each and everyone of them put into the Free Company, Satien learned in that time to step out of his comfort zone and worked pretty much till midnight every single day (He still stays up quite long to finish work so other don't have to). He wanted to give it his all and not let down any of his friends, after all they had another goal - because pretty much all of them were ophrans they wanted to help children with some funds and hopefully offer kids from the streets a place where they could slowly start work for a better future. Without having to hunger or worry.

Oh yes, there have been difficulties - as you mentioned he is a bit difficult to get to know and that is mainly because he is so reserved and doesn't show his emotions openly. People didn't know how to approach him, so missunderstandings and misconceptions of his character were rather common! Many people actually thought he was kind of cold, which isn't the case. Though gladly his Childhood Friend is a little ray of sunshine and managed to help them out and with time Satien did get the hang of it too, after all he warmed up to everyone! He is still pretty quiet, reserved and more on the calm side, but he also was always there when anyone needed help. May it be from the shadows, or openly. Satien is also pretty strict and asks of everyone to respect each other and not cause trouble.

Most things gladly were a 'He needs some time to get used to that' kind of situations since this was pretty new for him too, otherwise there gladly weren't too many issues - thanks to Satien planning ahead and being prepared. Some of the Free Company Members got in trouble because they were rather impulsive but this was easily taken care of with a strict talk and some quite boring chores.. Otherwise Satien's 'intimidating' aura took care of the rest lol (I promise he is not a bad guy xD)

So yeah, generally things went well thanks to him being quite a workaholic and rather stubborn so he wouldn't give up easily. Determination paid off!
