Still a #wip. I’m using this opportunity to film a #speedpaint from start to finish. This is something different I just tried. Took a sheet of used canvas paper, and I gessoed it with normal gesso and QOR water color ground. Then I ran out through my #canon printer, using a matte paper setting. I wanted to see if there was going to be an interest effect due to the watercolor ground. It behaved like a normal sheet of canvas paper. Just installed my new @canonusa iX6820. The image are test prints via my old HP printer and the iX6820, using the printer to handle color management. I’m feeling very excited about this. But I have a few more test prints to run so I can nail down the color. Digitized another painting last night. I used my @nikonusa D5600 to break it down into pieces. Then I stitched them together in #photoshop, (Go to Main Menu > File > Automate > Photomerge…) hoping nothing weird happens.
