Hello J-san, here is my angel baby cat Hipazia! I adopted her from a shelter a year ago and she has changed my life. I wanted a black male cat at first, but I came home with a female white cat ^^" She's my diluted toasted marshmallow. Don't let her pretty eyes fool you, she is a menace! Biting is her love language. In a few years I'll probably adopt another cat to keep her company, I hope they will get along like you and Kofu! Have a nice day :3

Welcome home Hauru! I hope he'll get along with Hipazia, I'm keeping them in separated rooms for a few days so they haven't met yet but I hope her maternal instinct will kick in and she'll be nice to the baby (he's 6 months and a half)

Managed to trim my cats' claws on her back legs for the first time in almost three years. It took a lot of holding her down (gently) as she squirmed and meowed pitifully (I'd never heard her meow so much), talking to her and giving her treats throughout the whole ordeal. I think it took ten minutes all in all.

What strikes me, and what has already struck me when I had to bathe her twice when she got fleas, was that she never once attempted to bite or scratch me. And she's the kind of cat who was weaned too early and bites at every occasion she can find for sometimes no reason.

But when she knows, because I think she knows, that I'm doing unpleasant stuff for her own good, she lets it happen without fighting back more than trying to get away.

She's a fascinating cat. She knows how to set boundaries when I'm petting her too much or in a way she doesn't like, but she won't hurt me when she feels I have no choice but doing something she hates. Her biting has never drawn blood.
