notes: holy shit there is so much conan gray on my top 100 and by this point, i’ve done almost all of th kid krow songs this is hilarious.

and when i was younger, i knew a girl and a girl, best friends with each other,

you heard her laugh and suddenly your heart was doing summersaults like it always did when you heard it, no matter how long you had known her, no matter how much you had a heard it, you never got sick of it. there was just something about it, maybe it was just the sound of it or maybe it was knowing that the girl who had your heart was happy.

“you should’ve seen the other guy’s face, i-” sokka retelling of something that had happened to him while he was visiting the south pole got cut off by suki spotting you enter the jasmin dragon, eyes wide with excitement.

“y/n!” she waved to you, helping you locate your friends in the beautiful tea shop even if it wouldn’t have been difficult to do yourself considering your friends weren’t the quietest group of teenagers but it didn’t matter, it was a part of why you loved them dearly.

“hey guys.” you shyly greeted everyone as you finally reached them in the back of the building, not bothering to individually reply to everyone saying their hellos to you as suki shooed zuko that was sitting next to her, making a spot right next to the kyoshi warrior available. you mumbled a sorry to the new firelord but he dismissed it with a knowing smile.

“did you get lost?” suki whispered to you as sokka took the silence that had settled once you found your spot as an inventation to continue his tale, the girl now disinterested in the boy’s story now that you were here, eager to talk with you as you hadn’t been together all day, opting to try and find some of your relatives that you knew lived in ba sing se.

“no, just didn’t see time go by.” you whispered back, turning your head ever so slightly to answer the girl before pretending to listen to sokka’s story, staying silent as everyone interjected, asking questions in order to know more.

“was it fun?” after a couple of minutes of trying to pay attention in his story, suki gave up, wanting to talk to you again as she had missed you dearly throughout the day, not being used to spending that much time without you. being attached at the hip ever since you joined the kyoshi warriors meant you two stuck together through thick and thin, not being complete without the other being near them.

“it was! turns out i have like five cousins here but a couple of them moved to omashu.” you both turned your heads at the same time, fully investing yourselves into your side conversation rather than the one sokka was telling.

“do you think you’ll want to go visit them?” she tucked her loose hair behind her ear. you admired how beautiful her bare face looked, not always getting the possibility to see it for more than a couple of minutes before she’d go to bed or right before she got ready for the day. although you thought her kyoshi warrior makeup looked absolutely badass on her, you couldn’t help but appreciate the natural beauty that laid behind it.

“not sure, kind of have a job. it’s called being a kyoshi warrior, not sure if you’ve heard of it.” you teased, earning a playful eye roll and a shove from the girl, the smile never leaving her face.

“come on y/n, it could be fun!” she insisted, her voice going a bit higher than the rather discreet whispers you had been exchanging.

“what could be fun? what are you two talking about?” both of your heads snapped to whoever had intercepted their conversation, eyes landing on sokka with a huge smirk on his lips as everyone was staring at the two of you causing a blush to dust your cheeks while suki remained unphased.

“y/n has some more family in omashu.” suki explained, making you want to sink further into your chair once you realised this meant that instead of sokka carrying the conversation between the majority of the gaang, you were now the one who everyone’s eyes were on.

“you visited some family here right?” katara was the first to ask you questions, making you dread what you knew was coming. luckily for you, suki noticed your uneasiness and interlocked your pinkies under the table, a habit you had both picked up back when you were training and someone was nervous, it sticking between the two of you. simply having her pinkie against yours brought on a surge of confidence that seemed to appear out of thin air and all of sudden, you didn’t mind being the center of attention for a little while.

but always wished they were more, cause they loved one another,

“boo.” you heard a voice whisper in your ear, pulling you out of whatever dream currently was taking place in your slumber. your eyes shot open, being immediately met with blue eyes glinting with mischief.

“got y’a.” she smirked as she stood up fully, no longer leaning over your face in order to wake you up rather suddenly. you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes as leaned up on both your elbows, narrowing your eyes at your friend that took you out of your peaceful state.

“what the hell was that for?” you whined, voice still groggy for only being awake for mere seconds. before she could answer, you got yours as you simply registered what her face was decorated with. the white makeup that caked her face along with the red and black that surrounded her eyes was all you needed to realise you most likely overslept on what you thought was your day off.

“shit.” you mumbled, throwing the cover off as you stood up, suki moving out of the way to watch you scrambled around the room for your uniform as you were still in your pajama’s. arms crossed, same smirk on her face but it slowly morphed into one of adoration as she watched you mumbled curses under your breath as you wiggled into the kyoshi warrior uniform.

“why did you not wake me up earlier?” you asked in disbelief, not bothering to turn around so she could the annoyance on your face as you rushed to the bathroom to apply your makeup.

“don’t know, it was funny that you didn’t wake up to the bell. and i mean you did look too peaceful to bother.” the last part was mumbled as for you to not catch onto her feelings, she followed you to where you going, making sure to grab your headpiece and your fans as you left them behind.

“very funny suki.” you rolled your eyes as you went through your makeup routine as fast as possible. knowing you were too focused on getting it done as fast as possible with as much as accuracy, she let herself admire the way your tongue stuck out in concentration, the way your eyes narrowed in concentration.

“i must admit, it was a bit hilarious.” you sighed in relief as you put the last touch of the black eyeliner, putting the lid back on the pot before patting yourself down in order to make sure you hadn’t forgotten anything important to your uniform. once you realised you didn’t feel your fans or your headpiece you felt your heartrate pick up.

“shit, my fans.” you mumbled as you turned around. taking a few steps to take your missing pieces before finding your friend in your path, headpiece and fans in her hands, the second sigh of relief escaping your lips in the last couple of minutes.

“you’re a life saver.” you grabbed the headpiece and turned your head slightly to make sure it was placed perfectly on your head before taking the fans and placing them right where they belonged.

“i know, now come on we’re late.” she grabbed your wrist, erasing her love stricken face for a more friendly one before leading the two of you to your posts for the day, not too far from the firelord’s chamber.

but never discovered, cause they were too afraid of what they'd say

“hey y/n.” zuko greeted you as he stepped into his office, delighted to see you were the one currently on watch while he was working, happy to have a friend keep him company even if it was silently.

you simply nodded to the firelord, making sure to keep it professional as you were on duty as his bodyguard. you two may have escaped the boiling rock together, somehow talking so much during your arrest by azula that she ended up throwing you in there with suki, and you two may have ended the hundred year war but now he was the man you were supposed to be protecting and not your friend.

a couple of hours passed in silence as you kept your hands behind your back, the only noise being the turning of pages and the scribbling of notes by the firelord along with the casual chirp of the birds that flew around the garden bringing a small smile on your lips at the nice surprise.

“listen y/n, i know you’re supposed to be professional and all but, i’ve got to ask, what’s going on between suki and you?” this time the surprise wasn’t the lovely song of a native bird but of your friend asking a question that you hoped you never had to answer.

“suki is my fellow warrior, firelord.” your face didn’t waver from the stoic expression you had, the firelord’s inquisitive one being met with a wall of years of training.

“y/n, as firelord, is anything happening between suki and you? you’re in my castle so everything i say goes.” he insisted, watching your face drop, your eyes stating on your feet as you thought of the answer, not knowing if this was the place to finally open up to someone.

“and as your friend too.” he added, his gaze softening as to make sure you didn’t feel too intimated by it.

“i don’t know, i’ve just. all my life suki and i have been best friends but i just, i wished she was more than one.” your voiced dimmed throughout your answer, surprised at how easy it was to coax that out of you.

“you know she likes you too right? i mean it’s so obvious by the way she just becomes all soft inside at the sight of you.” zuko teased, his arm placed above the head of the chair so he could place his chin on it to watch your face more closely, not talking to you in a friendly way for awhile.

“she doesn’t, i know she doesn’t.” your eyes didn’t move but you noticed that your grip on your fans tightened.

“won’t hurt to try?” hope laced in his words as he still waited for your expression to change, knowing that a simple sentence of three words would resolve years of buried feelings between suki and yourself

“actually it would sir, it would ruin our friendship and she’d say the opposite of what you say.” you finally looked up, hoping that he’d catch onto you wanting to drop the subject.

“y/n-" he tried to reason but was cut off by a rather demanding tone that he’d never heard come from you before, a slight surprise in his eyes at the side of you he hadn’t seen yet.

“now if you wouldn’t mind firelord, i’d like to do my job.” it didn’t waver, no emotions could be perceived through the tone that you used, indicating that you didn’t want to go any further and thankfully for you, zuko dropped the subject with a sigh and turned back to his work, letting the silence take over again.

moved to different states

“y/n, you can’t leave!” suki argued, stopping in her tracks as you dropped the news of your planned departure as you two walked towards the throne room where the firelord had asked you to be stationed during a meeting with international leaders.

“can we talk about this later? zuko’s waiting for us.” you stopped and turned your head around, slight annoyance in your gaze as your friend was a few steps behind you. you continued to make your way down the hallway as you heard her hurried steps, you first felt happiness as this meant she was ready to focus on your task at hand but you felt her hand grip your wrist, now causing the both of you to stop.

“no! y/n, the kyoshi warriors need you! i need you.” she pleaded, feeling herself stress at the idea of being separated from you, not being able to see your face that always made her day better, not being able to make you laugh just to hear what she thought was the most wonderful sound in the world. despite constantly having to push down her romantic feelings for you, she’d rather hurt her heart than see you leave.

“suki, you and i both knew that just behind a bodyguard isn’t what i want to do, i know it’s kyoshi’s honour to guard the firelord now but i just feel unfulfilled.” you sighed before deciding to have the much needed conversation with her now instead of later, figuring that getting it out of the way would be beneficial for the both of you.

“we’re not going to be here forever!” she kept her grip on your wrist, afraid that letting you go physically would mean letting you go forever.

“but then we’re just guards for the rest of our lives! that may be something for you but when zuko started talking to me about the possibility of going down to the new developing cities in the old colonies and helping in their development just sounded like something i’d finally want to do.” you explained, just thinking about starting a new life in a town that was just getting on its feet was enough to make the ghost of a smile appear on your face, needing to be on your own, not being able to deal with what you thought were unrequited feelings for your childhood best friend.

“if thatll make you happy.” she mumbled, finally taking her eyes off of yours, not wanting you to see the hurt in her eyes at the prospect of you feeling that your job was pointless, and having to wake up without seeing your adorable sleepy face. her grip loosened.

“it will.” your eyes softening, trying to find hers again as you put one of your hands in one of hers, squeezing it slightly in hopes that it’ll comfort her.

“then that’s great.” she finally looked up, trying her hardest to blink back tears as you kept your fingers interlocked with hers, deciding to make your way to the firelord’s throne room hand in hand for what was most likely the last time.

The Tinder Chronicles (Lemon x basically everyone?) - Mermelada

A/N: Bonjour Bonjour Bonjour, long time no fic! I’m currently job-less, so have naturally developed an obsession with the Canadian dwolls! This is (hopefully) going to be a multi-chapter lesbian/bi/pan AU, with lots and lots of appearances from different queens as Lemon figures her life out. I have a vague idea of what direction I want the story to go in, but I am always open to suggestions and feedback! Gros bisous à toustes! (Gender neutral French still looks a bit odd, but we’re going with it!)

Lemon tapped her yellow acrylic nails against the screen of her phone. It was now or never: she could either wallow in her post break-up misery for another two months; or she could finally start piecing her life back together and get back on the dating scene. She shook her head at the ridiculousness of her current emotional turmoil, blinking, sighing, and finally pressing the ‘download’ button on her screen. For the first time in three years, she was single. And for the first time in three years, she was going to use a dating app.

The icon spun for a few seconds, the app finally opened on her screen. This, she supposed, was the easy part. She decided to link her Facebook profile to speed things up, and pressed the buttons that she was a woman, interested in women. Not wanting to spend too long on a profile she wasn’t even sure she’d use, she chose her current favourite photo of herself to head up her profile, an adorable portrait of her sat on her kitchen floor, in plaid pyjamas, cuddling her dog. Nobody needs to know that an hour after the bliss pictured, she’d cried herself to sleep, once again unable to shake the feelings of worthlessness and inadequacy from her mind. She quickly followed by adding an assortment of photos from her Instagram which she felt best “advertised” herself: posing happily in front of the theatre where she’d just performed, cradling a giant bouquet of flowers (from her grandma, bless her); holding her leg in a grand-battement in the ballet studio, clad solely in a black leotard and bright yellow legwarmers; staring seductively into the camera lens at the dinner table, which could have been sexy if it weren’t for the floating crab claws above her head, courtesy of an off-camera Jan; and a simple selfie she’d taken moments before at her desk, with her thick-rimmed glasses perched on her nose and her hair tied back in a messy heap on top of her head. She looked at the five images, hoping that people would be able to see the kind of upbeat, loyal, and fun-loving person she really is. Or, at least, the person she can be when her heart isn’t broken. Next came her bio, which she really couldn’t be bothered with, so she just wrote the only vaguely amusing tagline she could think of: “Pucker up, motherfuckers.”

Happy with her choices, she finally clicked the ‘save’ button and waited. The loading screen turned and twisted for what seemed like an eternity, which almost gave Lemon enough time to change her mind and delete everything. But before she could even contemplate quitting, the first profile sprung up in her hand.

Priyanka, 29

Within 10 miles

Wow, this girl – sorry, grown ass goddess – was stunning. There was no other way of putting it. Lemon bit her lip as she scrolled through the photos, holding back her giddy excitement at the prospect of getting to know with Priyanka.

Nope, she thought, don’t get too carried away. She hasn’t matched with you yet. She probably hasn’t even seen your profile yet. And she also probably wouldn’t want anything to do with you, you dumb bi- Dropping her phone and jumping onto her bedroom floor Lemon resorted to the best way of controlling her anxiety she could: doing a handstand against the wall, while singing the national anthem. The first time she attempted it was after her dad – in a panic himself – had suggested it, not sure how best to look after his daughter as her breaths shortened and her pulse raced. As it turned out, it was the perfect distraction for her adrenaline-fuelled brain, and she now kept it as her secret weapon against her hidden anxiety monsters. Maybe she could share it with someone else one day. As she finished the last long note, she stood back upright and lay back on her bed, carefully timing her breathing.

Okay, now where was I…?

Priyanka was hot. She had a picture sat on a beach in a blue and white striped bikini, followed by one in a beautiful white and gold lehnga, taken in what looked like a garden, but Lemon’s favourite was the candid snap of a laughing Priyanka in the middle of a street, surrounded by people, holding a pride flag around her shoulders. Without needing to think anymore, Lemon swiped to the right…

…and nothing happened. Without feeling too disheartened – she had only just downloaded the app, after all, these things take time – she read through the next profile.

Rita, 33

Within 10 miles

Now Rita was completely different from Priyanka, but Lemon wasn’t complaining. Her main profile picture was an artsy selfie, with her short platinum hair sleeked back, making her look every inch the sexy business lady Lemon loved. As she scrolled through the pictures, she learned that Rita was clearly a lover of the 80s, as she was definitely not afraid of bright make-up or loud, monochromatic clothing. Glancing down at bio, it simply read “Je me sens sous-titrée”. Lemon may have dropped French as soon as she was allowed at school, but it only added to her already growing intrigue. Even more enticing, however, was the final picture, where Rita appeared to be dressed as a young Céline Dion, passionately serenading a hot dog. Swiping right was a no-brainer.

The next profile quickly followed, with Lemon once again swiping right.

Kyne, 21

Within 10 miles

She was younger than Lemon would have usually gone, sure, but Kyne was pretty. She was tanned and toned and had perfect eyeliner and was a final-year mathematics and statistics major?! Sign her up!

Kiara, 22

Within 10 miles

“Kiki wanna kaikai, maybe you’ll be my type ;) “. That was all the next girl had written in her profile bio, the suggestive nature making Lemon audibly snort. She would definitely be down for some fun with Kiara, she had to be a supermodel! The tall girl was a vision in red, with her dark hair cascading down her back as she posed for the camera. It was an obvious right-swipe.

Tynomi, 39

Within 10 miles

Okay, so maybe Lemon had forgotten to set an age filter, but now she was glad it had slipped her mind. Tynomi was exquisite – if Lemon could have a figure like that at 39, she’d be a very happy girl. There was no bio to read, only four photos. In the first two, Tynomi was wearing a skin-tight lime green t-shirt dress, standing on a balcony looking out to the sea. In one, she started moodily at the camera, her honey-blonde hair gently blowing behind her. Though in the second one, Lemon could practically hear the laughter radiating from the tall woman, her mouth wide open and teeth sparkling in the sunlight.

I wonder what was making her laugh like that, Lemon pondered, zooming in to where she wishfully thought she saw the faint outline of a nipple through the thin material. Maybe one day I could make her laugh, and then I’d laugh at how much she is laughing, and we’d be so happy together… Uh oh, control yourself, Lem. Focus. Let’s not get carried away… But fuck, please choose me, Tynomi!

Boa, 25

Within 10 miles

Lemon stared at the profile, pursing her lips. She knew deep down that as much as she told herself she didn’t have a type, all of her past fixations – yes, including she-who-must-not-be-named – had one thing in common. They were all skinny bitches. But Lemon wanted to change that, she really did, she is now at an age where she needs someone she can bond with on a deeper level and have some fun with. And Boa looked very, very fun: her profile picture was her sat on a bale of hay while dressed as a cow, how could you not be entertained?! The rest of her photos followed a similar theme, until Lemon reached the final one, which took her breath away. Boa stood on a spiral staircase, with a huge smile upon her face as her sparkly silver dress hugged all he curves.

She’s funny, she’s pretty, she has amazing tits… let’s do it!

And then, she saw it. To say she felt her eyes pop out of her head, her lower jaw hit the floor, and her stomach turn inside-out would be an understatement. Two months after blocking her on every platform she could think of, two months after deleting every photo of her, two months after having her heart shattered… There she was, staring straight into Lemon’s soul.

Lemon’s mind went blank. In her haste to get the beaming picture of the girl she may-or-may-not still be in love with off her screen as quickly as possible, her thumb slid the screen to the right. Before her brain could even catch up with the atrocity she had just committed, a bright, white notification popped up on her phone.

ROKSANA SIRSK - CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

BASICS -

1. Height?

Roksana is 5’4.

2. Eye colour?

Dark brown.

3. Do they need glasses?

Nah baby this human has 20/20 vision and can see in regular and magical darkness for 120 feet. It’s an invocation, but she will claim she’s just more evolved than most humans.

4. Scars and birthmark?

She has quite a few prominent scars on her hands from burns and cuts when she was training as a blacksmith. She also has a long, vertical scar beneath her ribs from a job that went sideways. She almost died before getting to a cleric; she doesn’t talk about it.

5. Tattoos and piercings?

On her right ear she has 3 lobe piercings, an industrial and a forward helix, and on her left she has a helix, a tragus, and 3 lobe piercings. As for tattoos, she has the symbols of Dol Arrah, Milil, Lathander, and the Raven Queen down her left forearm, and the symbols of Dol Dorn, Tymora, Malar, Sune down her right forearm.

6. Right or left handed?

Sana does most things with her right hand, but she’s trained herself to be useful with both in battle.

7. Any disabilities? Physical or mental.

Sana has lost most of the hearing in her left ear, and as such is hard of hearing.

8. Do they have any allergies?

Roksana is allergic to dogs and NO ONE is allowed to talk to her about it.

9. Favourite colour?

Black, or navy blue.

10. Typical outfits?

Sana likes well-made clothing, and most of her spending is on clothes. She wears mostly black and white. A lot of her tops are blouses, often sporting either lace, embroidery, or flowy sleeves. She loves elaborate dresses, corsets worn in untraditional ways, and interesting belt buckles. If she’s on a job, she wears a breastplate underneath a cloak or a powerful-looking coat. She’s also a fan of leather gloves.

11. Do they wear any makeup?

Sana rarely wears makeup, but she can’t resist a bit of eyeliner here and there.

12. What weapon do they use, if any?

She almost exclusively uses Obit, which is both her pact blade and her spellcasting focus. Obit likes to call itself Darthranok, and speaks to her telepathically.

PERSONALITY -

13. Are they more optimistic or pessimistic?

Sana considers herself a realist, which is to say...she’s mostly pessimistic. If she has any optimism left, it resides in Zari, who does her best to see the light in every situation when Sana is focusing on solutions. She doesn’t waste a lot of time on pessimism, but she certainly doesn’t expect anything good from others or from any situation she walks into.

14. Are they introverted or extroverted?

Introverted. Definitely charismatic and a skilled socializer, but she only gains energy when she’s alone or only around people who are close to her.

15. What are their pet peeves?

Most of Sana’s pet peeves are exhibited by her clients. She hates when people explain things slowly when she didn’t ask them to, she hates when people aren’t punctual - particularly with their payments - and she hates when people act like they know her. Above all, she hates being pitied, and even annoys herself when she gets caught up in the habit of self-pitying. Some smaller pet peeves include loud chewers, Zari wearing her clothes, and people standing too close to her.

16. What bad habits do they have?

She picks at her nails, leans back in pretty much every chair she sits in, and leaves loose strands of hair littered about the house. She always thinks she’s right, she consistently asks too much for the jobs she undertakes, and she tries to get to know people without letting them know her.

17. Do they have any phobias?

The most constant fear she has, the one that gives her the most nightmares, is losing Zari. When she’s away from Khaggon, it often keeps her up at night and she’s considering bringing her sister along on all her jobs again.

18. How do they display affection?

Acts of service all the way. She doesn’t get close with many people, but when she does choose to let someone in she’s very all-or-nothing. She will go out of her way to get that person what they need, and loves to provide for the people she loves. She’s not especially physically affectionate, but when she’s exhausted she can’t deny that she likes to cuddle.

19. How competitive are they?

Oh, god. You don’t wanna know. If she gets even the slightest idea that someone’s coming for her job or for her money, she will go to extreme lengths to make sure they never try that again. She also tends to swear and yell a bit too much when playing card games.

20. If they could change one thing about themselves, what would it be?

She’d like to be a bit softer, a bit more trusting, a bit more open-hearted - if she could manage.

21. Do they have any obscure hobbies or routines?

She loves making her own knives, especially ones that are just for display with elaborate handles. For the past five years, she’s had an omelette for breakfast every morning that she hasn’t been in the wild or otherwise incapacitated. She reorganizes her closet and jewelry once or twice a month, just for kicks. She likes to gamble.

BACKSTORY -

22. What are the names and ages of their close family members? Parents, siblings, etc.

Zari, her sister, is thirteen. Esfir, her mother, would be fifty-two, and her father, Ashkin, would be fifty-one. Roksana was also close to her maternal grandmother, Shirin, who would be eighty-five now.

23. Is their family alive and are they still in contact with them?

Esfir and Ashkin have been dead for almost three and thirteen years respectively, and Shirin has been dead for eight years. Her sister is very much alive, and very much in contact with her.

24. Where are they from? City, nation?

Runswick born-and-raised, though she currently lives in Khaggon.

25. Did they have a childhood best friend?

Ever since she can remember, Sana’s best friend has been a girl named Evangeline. She’s a wealthy merchant’s daughter, and has recently started a family in Runswick. They rarely see each other anymore, but they do still write to each other.

26. Have they had any pets?

The only pet she had growing up was a cat named Stinky. She found him as a stray when she was ten, and he had an incredibly pungent smell. Since then, she always wanted a dog, but their fur gives her hives and their dandruff stuffs her up - so, instead, she got Zari a gray tabby. (Zari’s always liked cats better, anyway.) Her sister named him Quincy, and though Sana is sure he’ll never be as great as Stinky, she is glad that Zari has company when she’s away.

27. Did they grow up rich or poor? What were their living conditions like?

She probably made fun of a boy here and there, but she was never bullied. In fact, after her father died, she was treated with so much pity that it makes her gag thinking about it. Even the children in her neighborhood acted like she was fragile.

Herself, tbh. But also Zari, because she’s extremely emotionally intelligent and good at a lot of things that she struggles with.

Oh, yeah. She’d never call herself an assassin, but she has been paid to kill specific marks, or paid to finish jobs that had no restrictions on who was left dead or alive. Her sword also feeds on life force, and she doesn’t want to know what will happen if it gets too hungry.

38. What was their last promise and did they keep it?

She promises Zari that she’ll be safe every time she leaves, and she hasn’t died yet, so she considers that a promise kept.

LOVE -

39. What was their first kiss like, if they’ve had one?

Sloppy, gross. She was thirteen and had a crush on the guy for an entire year, and then everything good she’d ever thought about him disappeared when he shoved his tongue down her throat. He tasted like ham.

Nope. She has friends with benefits scattered here and there, but she wouldn’t consider them love interests.

41. Have they ever been in love?

Yes. When Sana was twenty-one, she fell head-over-heels with a half-elf named Mikas. They’d grown up in the same social circle, and he had a tendency to flirt with everyone in that social circle. But after a long night out and a talk under the stars, things were different between them. They were inseparable for a year, and it was a good year, but after that year came two more years that were much less enjoyable.

42. Have they ever had their heart broken?

Of course. She gave her all in the relationship with Mikas. It was the most vulnerable she’d ever been with someone, and he probably still knows her better than anyone. But he still didn’t want to be with her. After that one good year, he stopped trying. He stopped finding time to spend with her, stopped making her feel heard, and then he left her for some girl he hardly knew. Now, she won’t accept anything less than 100% effort from a romantic partner - not that she particularly wants one.

SPIRITUALITY -

Nope! She has those religious symbols tattooed on her mostly as a joke. Probably insensitive, but she likes to keep people guessing about what her religious background is. She’s also still pretty bitter about gods and what they expect of their champions.

Regardless of her religious beliefs, she likes to believe in an afterlife. She’s seen ghosts and other kinds of spirits, and she likes to believe that if someone deserves to live on past their mortal life, then they will. It helps her sleep at night to think that the people she kills will live on if they deserve to, and that if they don’t deserve to, then she did the world a service.

My brother’s name starts with D. Neither of my grandfathers are alive. I look more like my mother than my father. Both my parents are in a serious relationship. I am the youngest of three children. I am the only girl. My mom’s mom is NOT your typical grandmother. I don’t really like my cousins. I have less than five cousins. I’ve shown up at a family party while under the influence.

I was raised Christian. But I’m no longer a Christian. I believe in God. But I think the Bible is bullshit. My beliefs aren’t influenced by people around me. My dad is religious. My mom tries to be, but who is she trying to fool? I hate church. I wouldn’t have voted in the last election even if I was old enough. I hate politics more than anything.

I honestly never stop eating. Chocolate + peanut butter = orgasmic. I only eat Cains mayonnaise. I’ve never eaten a fruit I didn’t like. I love cooked broccoli but not raw broccoli. I love raw peppers but not cooked peppers. I’ve gone a day or more without eating. I crave chocolate on my period. Pizza Hut has the best pizza around. Cookies & Cream ice cream is one of my favorites.

I’ve been told that I was a nine out of ten at giving head. A guy has cheated on his girlfriend with me. I’ve never been cheated on. I had my first kiss when I was fifteen. I download my music from LimeWire. I love country. I love old school rap. I love alternative. I have All Time Low’s new CD Nothing Personal. And I love it. I love to sing, but I suck horribly at it. My GPA is between 2.0 and 3.0. I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade, and again in 9th. I’ve passed a class with a D-. I don’t do my homework at home. I prefer mechanical pencils. I always do projects the night before they’re due. I’m really smart but don’t always apply myself. I text in school. I’ve gotten my phone taken away in school.

[Beauty & Hygiene]

I straighten my hair often. On lazy days, I scrunch my hair to go out. My only make-up necessity is mascara. I like to wing my eyeliner. I’d rather take a shower than a bath. I’d rather use body wash than a bar of soap. I’d rather use a bath scrunchie than a washcloth. My solution for make-up on lazy days: sunglasses. I use the same routine every day in the shower.

[Smoking, Drinking & Drugs]

I smoke cigarettes. I’ve gotten drunk within the past month. I’ve smoked weed when by myself. The first time I got high was on a holiday. Marijuana should be legalized. I have never and would never drink and drive. I hate light beer. My lighter is purple. My favorite cigarettes are Turkish Silver or Camel Crush. I’ve quit smoking but started again.

[Random]

My nails are pink right now. Going to bed at midnight is very early for me. I could never date a guy that didn’t make me laugh. I have a jar of peanut butter in my room right now. I wear sunglasses a lot. Gogurt is really good in the freezer. I’ve been in Hollister, but I don’t own anything from there. Purple is my favorite color. There is no such thing as an ugly color. I need more pens.

I like where I’m at right now. My feet are freezing. I hate feeling awkward. I love driving on country roads. I love driving fast, too. I currently have a cold. I have a crush. No, it’s more than a crush. I always wondered what it’d be like to start over, where no one knew me. I go on Yahoo Answers. I get nostalgic every once in awhile. I really don’t like my father. My mother is one of my best friends though. I don’t mind when people stare at me. No, it’s annoying as fuck. I can’t stand people who are extremely selfish. A Change Of Pace is a good band. I have gotten a new phone within the past month. I want to go to Florida soon. Peach snapple iced tea is theee best. I wrote books when I was younger. I’m really creative, especially when I apply myself. I use Facebook a lot more than I used to. I’m constantly told I’m beautiful, but I still sometimes don’t believe it. One of my friends came out as gay this year. I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t have someone. I’m way too quiet, and I wish I could change. I need to party. Music and books are my favorite. All politicians are the same, in my opinion. I can’t eat sushi with a fork or else it feels awkward. I’ve never been to New Mexico. I’d definitely consider adoption if I couldn’t have my own children. I like plain-colored t-shirts. Horror movies don’t really scare me. I have a decent vocabulary. Lord of the Rings doesn’t appeal to me. I don’t play any sports. I prefer orange juice to apple juice. I like my toast with butter and jelly. I love cream cheese. I have a celebrity crush.
