a/n: got this from the randomizer too and thought it was so on brand and had to write it, so here's another lil fic for the incorrect quotes challenge!

“I should change my name to bakery ‘cause of all this cake I have” Lemon slurred as she jiggled her ass with her hands in the reflection of a storefront window.

  Priyanka was grateful that the store had been long closed and no one was inside to see her friend embarrass herself. Taking one of the blonde’s hands in her own, Priyanka tries to pull her along to get to the parking lot that Juice was waiting for them in.

  “C’mon Lem, I know you’re deflecting by making jokes about how hot you are,”

  Lemon let out a gasp that nearly echoed through the street, “It’s not a joke!” Playing up the dramatics, she makes a few sniffles, ”I’m a legit snack,”

  “Oh god, I am not drunk enough to deal with a drunk you,” Priyanka said exasperatedly, continuing to drag Lemon along until they reached the white Kia Soul parked right where Juice had said she would be.

  “Wild night Lem?” Juice asked as she helped her into the back seat.

  Lemon nodded as she belted herself in, “Juicey, I’m a snack right?” The blonde said with a pout.

  “Of course, my dear, the tastiest snack in all the world,” Juice indulges her, knowing the blonde won’t remember the conversation in the morning.

  Lemon laughs smugly, “Ha, see? I told you Pri, I’m a legit snack,”

  “Alright Lem, you were right, just like always,” The brunette sighs in response, fondly looking back at the blonde through the car mirror.

  A prideful smirk tugs on Lemon’s tired face, “Yep, always right,” She mumbled as her eyelids became heavier and heavier, falling asleep before Juice was able to pull out of the parking lot.

Dracumulus was originally inspired by the Togekiss line and the vietnamese lions from Lunar New Year. The design has lost some of those elements, but some of those features are still there! Dracumulus is supposed to go from a bird, a wyvern, to a dragon that doesn’t need wings to fly. I’m really proud of this guy’s design :) I imagine it floats all the time

Canaroc was originally inspired by Rhyperior! It keeps the brown and the horn, but it’s pretty vague (which is good, imo). It also has canary features. Originally it had wings. The design overall hasn’t changed much, but I thought the wings cluttered the design a bit too much (along with the cage-belly). It still keeps a bit of the wings in the ears though!

I also like how it has a mix of different animal features- reptile, bird, and mammal (the paw pad and furry tail). I think it’s fun

I really like the contrast of these designs, and I think they work really well together :)

Design Pages

Dracumulus: You can see it’s first design here. I have earlier sketches of it but the design is basically the same. The stage with the most changes is the last one, with the first draft being able to switch between four legs or two legs and two wings. Second stage has a few tweeks. First stage is the same.

Canaroc: Also doesn’t have much changes besides the wings, tail, and belly pattern.

Both of them dont have many changes! I always liked their designs from the start so there wasn’t much to fix.

Foils

If you haven’t read the first post, “foils” are basically the same as shinies from Pokemon!

Dracumulus: First set of shinies are based off of clouds at sunset, second set is Canaroc’s color palette, and third is based off of clouds and the sky (the last stage having more thundercloud colors) for the Type foil. The third stages have colors moved around like normal Dracumulus, except for the Canaroc-colored one

Canoroc: it’s first shiny is based off of smoky quartz with flourite, second set is based off of Dracumulus, and third set are browns that I think convey rockiness. Dracumulus-palette keeps the third stage as different colors.

*炒芥蘭 ～ Slang term, apparently came from the football (soccer) world. Refers to when players (accidentally?) kick each other in the legs (usually the shin?) and collide together. In other words, ‘play rough’.

Well, it's not as if 「炒芥蘭」 was something embarrassing! Wonder why he was reluctant to explain? Maybe he just thought it a bother? (his girlfriend is — scripted to be — an overseas born and brought up Chinese so her Cantonese is supposed to be not good) Or is there something more naughty with this term that I am not aware of? Hmm…🤔

But why 炒芥蘭? According to Chinese Wiki, two possible explanations:

The shin where players usually get kicked, is one of the roughest parts of the leg, thus likened to the rough stalk of the Chinese broccoli.

炒芥蘭 (caau2 gaai3 laan2) is a possible bastardisation of the English phrase ‘Charley Horse’, which is an informal expression to mean cramping or stiffness in the legs.

I doubt the Charley Horse explanation though, that seems pretty contrived!

Oh and 炒 (which means literally ‘to stir-fry’ — as in ‘chow’ in ‘chow mein’) can be used colloquially in Cantonese to mean ‘collision’.

E.g. 炒車 (caau2 ce1) ～ literally ‘fried car’, means ‘to have a car crash/accident’

Recently thought of this scene from this series again, the expression 「炒芥蘭」 had been baffling me but I kept getting distracted (by other stuff) and forgetting to look into it each time! 😅

Running a k-means Cluster Analysis

Summary: My quantitive variables are age, number of joints/grams/rocks of cannabis/cocaine/crack usually used in a day, age when started drinkng and number of persons in household. this assignment is going to validate the clusters by excluding ethanol content by volume of liquor brand consumed from the cluster analysis. The elbow curve was inconclusive, suggesting that the 2, 4, 6 and 7-cluster solutions might be interpreted. The results below are for an interpretation of the 4-cluster solution. The means on the clustering variables showed that, compared to the other clusters, subjects in cluster 1 had moderate levels on the clustering variables. Cluster 1 and 4 has almost the same levels. Cluster 3 had higher levels on the clustering variables compared to cluster 1, but moderate compared to clusters 2 and 4.

A/N: Sapphic September day 7: Frog

“Lemon, I promise. It’s what all my sisters and aunts and grandmothers say: you kiss a frog, you get a prince.”

Lemon eyed the little frog on the edge of the fountain wearily. It was slimy and green and not prince-like at all.

“I don’t know, Pri.” She leaned over to look at the frog. It looked up at her with its tiny empty eyes. “It doesn’t look like a prince. It’s so… common.”

“That’s your future husband you’re talking about,” said Priyanka, “show some kindness. Don’t you want that big castle up the hill? It’s all you’ve dreamed about since before we could walk.”

Lemon sighed, tired. They had been at it for ten minutes already.

“Think of your castle,” Priyanka said in a sing-songy voice. “The parties we could throw there!”

“Should’ve known this was all in your self-interest,” Lemon said with a smirk.

“I also want you to live happily ever after, or whatever,” Priyanka mumbled. “Come on, chop chop, your fairytale awaits.”

“Fine,” Lemon said, rolling up the sleeves of her dress. She kneeled in front of the fountain and got eye level with the frog. “Um, hi.”

The frog blinked at her.

“So my name is Lemon, and I’m going to kiss you now. If you don’t want that to happen, you should move.”

The frog blinked at her.

“Alright,” Lemon said, uncertain. “Here goes.”

Carefully, she kissed the sticky, cold head of the tiny frog. She pulled back, expectant, waiting with held breath for a sparkling transformation and…

Absolutely nothing happened.

Priyanka’s cackle scared away the birds around them.

“I can’t believe you fell for that!” she said, bent over in laughter and holding her stomach. “I didn’t think it’d work, my sisters did it to me but I was ten!”

“Oh, you little…”

Lemon grabbed Priyanka’s shoulders.

“Wha—”

Lemon cleaned her frog-kissing lips by leaving a quick succession of kisses all over Priyanka’s face, missing her lips by millimeters and making her blush.

“What are you— why—” Priyanka stumbled over her words and then stumbled over the fountain wall, falling head-first in the water.

The little frog jumped away from the splash and disappeared in the bushes.

“You scared away my future husband,” Lemon said.

“My mom’s gonna kill me,” said Priyanka, looking at her soaked dress.

Taking pity on her friend, Lemon offered her hand.

“Come on, let’s get you dry.”

“Alright,” said Priyanka, taking Lemon’s hand and immediately pulling her inside the fountain.

Lemon spluttered as she sat up and splashed Priyanka’s face.

“You’re such a jerk,” she said, giggling.

“Maybe,” Priyanka said with a shy smile. “Are you going to kiss me about it again?”

I slowly came back and just hugged him, which of course he was first shocked from but that only lasted for a few seconds till be hugged me back. „believe, me, ld never hurt you onPorpuse" If we wouldn't have hugged, I wouldn't have heard him. We stayed like that for awhile longer, till he needed to go to talk with Dann.

Unknown PoV.

"Sir, she knows that they are Vampires." someone huffed. „Good that I have a plan be, If she doesn't leave him out of fear

she'll defenitly to protect him" laugher were heard trough the halls. „Lets get to work the faster I get her, the faster I can revange my father"" of course your evilness "the smaller one of the two men bowed and left. "Lets see who'll win this time"

YNPoV.

I felt a sting in my chest, my eyes widden // They know // I ran down the halls" Louis!" I screamd. A door swung open

"YN what is wrong?" 3 worried pair of eyes looked at me. I stopped infront of them and tried to catch my breath. "YIN?" "I they know" I panted. "Who knows what?" Ivan asked. "You know what we found out about my powers. I felt a really bad sting in my heart ..." all of them looked al me now shocked "they want to get you to threaten me to come to them myself" "What?" Dann was now famming in anger" and the dream with the sword, they are the ones who have it" "Jaehyun ..." Dann mumbled. "Ok, we need to keep you both away from everyone, till we know who gives away the informations." Louis and I both looked at Dawn shocked. "We can't just not go to the Ball ... it's tomorow ..." Louis said and I nodded In agreement. Dann took a deep breath "You'll need to stay together the whole time and two of us will also stay at your side ..." he stopped for a moment "We can't risk anything." We both agreed, he had a point, would they get one of us alone we would be in much danger.

Jaehyun PoV.

"We have either to get her alone at the Ball or him. "I nodded "We have them thinking now that we want to get him, which is good because they'll more look after him then her. " Ipaused "And I have a plan how we can distract the guards and one of them. We'll get one of them thats for sure." 11 And I can finally revenge my father... He took what was the most important to me, so I'll take his III smirked" Now get to work and make sure everything goes after plan" the smaller Servant bowed and went to work. „He'll pay for everything he did, so you can finally be proud of me"I looked at the sky "Just wait a bit longer

Time ship Next Day Lunchtime:

Louis POV

I walked with Y/N into the garden where we would have Lunch We haven't really talked much today mostly because I was in thoughts „Are you ok?" her voice was soft. "Mhm" I looked up to see that she had stopped eating, and was looking at me."There is cleary something bothering you ... Is it because of tonight?"I nodded "It's really risky and I don't want anything to happen-" she stood up which made me stop my rambling, I turned in my chair, looking up at her. She took my face in her hands "We will make it through the night without any harm. Ok?" She meant it. Her voice was stable. I took her hands from my face and pulled her into my lap. She gasped and blushed. // cute// "promise me that you'll be careful." She nodded

and leant her head against my shoulder and closed her eyes. // I will protect you// I looked up watching some birds fly around.

„I really hope your right" I whispered and tucked some hair behind her ear. The sky became clouded which I took as a sign to go inside. I called the Maids to get everything inside and took Y/N with me. We both didn't get much sleep last night, trying to come up with something that nothing will happen later.... I laid her in bed and sat down next to her. I looked at her and sighted. „What are you doing with me? Mh?" Someone knocked „Louis are you in here?" It was Hwon. „Yes come in but be quiet" He silently walked it, and closed the door behind him. He sat down on the Chair in front of me. „ Are you ok?" I nodded.

„You don't look like it" „I'm worried, I have a really bad feeling about the Ball...." Hwon nodded. „I understand you but you only need to stay for the opening then both of you could basically go." „Yes I know but that would also be to obvious" Hwon agreed.

„Your right.." He looked around the room „We all decided that its better for us all to stay with you so you'll have more then one around you even if you two are not together" I looked up from my hands „Wait but then you-„ „We all are sure about it don't worry and we'll have more balls in future so we can enjoy those then" I nodded „Ok, I just hope everything will be fine..."„we'll make sure of it don't worry to much" We both kept talking a bit till Ivan came to get him because he apparently hadn't eaten lunch yet. The door closed behind them and i laid down next to Y/N. „I hope everything will be fine..." with that I fell asleep.

I love how laszlo is the only vampire to specifically mention that he cant drive (when we can assume none of them can1) and yet he is also the only one to continue to try and drive regardless
