Q!cellbit.

At the age of 13, he had a slightly (very) problematic mentor figure. With this, either because of the environment in which they found themselves, or because of the person who 'guided' him. He learned to live that way.

Where the only thing that mattered was surviving. In addition to concepts he has become ignorant about.

(Ignorant = not understanding very well)

And this continued until he was 26 years old. He walked this path without knowing what it was like to love or be loved.

Now, currently. He is learning, little by little, he is understanding. So much so that the operating mode of:

"surviving is the only thing that matters", soon became "the one I love must live, and that is the only thing that matters".

But at the same time, he hasn't learned everything yet.

He is still stuck in his way of protecting himself, which is to act as he did in the past, which often seems like he is just a cornered animal, which in reality really is that.

It's the way he created to protect himself, even though he disliked who he was. It's more "comfortable" even though it's not healthy. One day he will need to accept it, (I say accept, because he knows. He knows there are people who care about him. He's just not 'ready' to accept that, in my opinion), that there are people who care about him.. And that he deserves it. He deserves to be treated with care, deserves to be loved.

Imagine the strange nostalgia he must feel to have someone looking after him again (Q!philza). Treating him and taking care of him in a way that was completely opposite to what he was used to, however somehow this affected him more than he imagined.. Must be nice.

"That's the feeling of.. Family, that he should remember feeling?" - He's probably already asked himself that.

He must have also reflected to himself: "That would be the right feeling to have having someone looking after and guiding him in a not so aggressive and bloodthirsty way, that he was used to and learned?"

Knowing that someone cares deeply about him...must be comforting.

Maybe the Federation froze Felps and Cellbit because they were able to attain and achieve examples of peak satisfaction / absolute devotion towards the Federation and now they plan on duplicating the methods upon the rest of the island participants. This might also hint towards the fact that the mission with the first 24 residents might have been a failure hence the Federation most probably killed all of them in order to restart the experiment all over again with new participants.

I’ve been thinking about this post I made, and honestly I wanna talk about it more

Also spoilers for Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes under this cut

Now I would think the other district 12 tribute could be Fit but I feel like he deserves better than to contract rabies and die due to Aquaphobia and falling. I may workshop his death to something else.

As for Sejunus? I’m not sure who would be him- it could be Cellbit, I can see him being brothers in arms with forever to him being betrayed but their personalities don’t match up, whereas it could be Baghera but I don’t see Forever betraying her tbh. It could be both of them, Baghera dragging Cellbit to sign up so they can follow Forever only for him to have them killed.

Timeskipping to the main trilogy is where things get interesting. Of course, if Phil is Lucy Grey, then Chayanne has to be Katniss, what a slap in the face to Forever that the person who continues to stir up trouble looks eerily similar to someone he cared for, and maybe even loved!

Keeping with the thought of Katniss being Chayanne, Tallulah is Prim (obviously) and Wilbur takes the place of the Mom. The three are siblings, Wilbur helped their parents provide, but then when their parents died in a mine accident, Wilbur just- stopped... That left Chayanne to pick up the peices.

Missa is actually Peeta (they are both kinda pathetic and i love them) and instead of him having to pretend to be star-crossed lovers with Chayanne, they have to pretend to be found family (*insert joke about how the fandom does this*)

Anywayyyyyyyy So where is Phil? Well while Lucy Grey’s fate is left ambiguous when Cornelius shoots her, Phil lives, Forever only shoots his arm, so Phil flees to 13. He is actually alive in the OG trilogy, he is old and his health is failing, but he will be damned if he passed up the opportunity to see, and taunt, Forever one last time. So he sings The Hanging Tree at. Forever’s execution. As the light leaves Forever’s eyes, its Phil who fills his vision, his youthful handsome face is gone, replaced with a beauty found in old age, his silver hair gleaming in the sun.
