migraines are so funny in the worst way possible cus it’s just like

half your head is in a reasonable amount of pain but one corner is completely unaffected and the opposite corner (always over an eye) has been sledgehammered and icepicked into oblivion. that side of your face is literally physically bulging out of your skull. if you move you will die. light particles are now needles. breathing helps the nausea but breathing too deep makes the headache worse. you’re extremely thirsty but anything you consume will be promptly thrown up. you’re suddenly immune to all drugs. you’re also blind now, because what do you need sight for if you’re just stuck waiting for the peaceful grip of unconsciousness to finally take hold

I spent half the night battling a migraine and I still feel like crap this morning, despite getting up two hours later than I was supposed to get up.

There's so much work to do and I don't know how cause my brain is still fuzzy and my head still kind of hurts. Thought I'd trick myself into a better mood by listening to "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" from Oklahoma which worked BUT I still don't know how to get work done.😭
