I didn’t know today was the anniversary for the first LoZ game until I started seeing posts about on my dash today, so I doodle these headshots of different Links Meet AU Links relatively quickly. From left to right a few thoughts about the Links and the drawing process:

Fairy from Recalled at @recalled11 - Very cute, can’t wait to see him in the comic. I couldn’t figure out how to draw his head tho, I don’t know why

Wood from Little Links from @marenwithanm - Chubby cheeks heh. So pinch-able. Honestly the favorite one I drew.

Hope from Linked Spirit at @linkedspirit-fanartfunart - Original Link combined w: Cartoon Link agigjtbkrg. I liked drawing the hair. Don’t think I did the bangs right, but I like the hair.

Scout from Echoes of Courage at @echoes-of-courage - I love the ponytail and curly hair, he’s so cute. I tend to mimic the style of what I’m drawing fanart of when I’ve never drawn a character before, and that’s especially evident with this guy.

native languages — they have lots of reliable info on native things and links to tribal sites

scarleteen — they have articles on tons of important things relating to sex ed, including things on queer sex, stuff relating to being trans/intersex, having sex while disabled/having a disabled partner, safe sex, consent, u get the picture

mending/fixing/taking care of clothes — they also have stuff about “upgrading” clothes (remaking, resizing, etc.) (also i got this from this twt thread that has other stuff too if u wanna check it out)

Betrayal — Omnes Vulnerant The first time Link met her, she’d been crying in the woods.

Trust Fall — Omnes Vulnerant Zelda jolted upright in the dark, eyes wide and heart racing and a chill sweeping down her back where his heat had been.

Insults — Omnes Vulnerant They dragged him down the glistening hallway by his hair, ropes fastened tight around his arms, his wrists, his neck, in case he got any ideas.

Gagged — Omnes Vulnerant Link came to with fabric in his mouth.

Bound — Omnes Vulnerant She said she wouldn’t leave without the weapon she came for, so I trailed her until she finally found it sunk in that cursed pedestal.

An Inconvenience There’s half a skull with protruding horns on his head, and bones and teeth and leathers and swathes of fur and warpaint over the rest of him, but it isn’t his savage-looking armor that’s causing the thrill hammering in her ribcage.
