Trigger warning: abuse, rape, threats

Bit late but thought id post about the Mason Greenwood situation. For those who don't know on 30/1/22 a Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood's girlfriend posted on social media pictures of buses and burst lip along with audio recording of him r**ing her and later threats to kill. To start with Greenwood is a monster no question when you hear that tape (first time I couldn't finish the tape it was horrific) and the money he gets at such a young age gets to his head. He's the same age as me (20) but I believe that he thinks cause he's got money he's entitled to everything including his girlfriends body. Money, immaturity and lack of knowledge of the basic things like you know CONSENT has cause a young woman to go through the worst hell. I'm not a Man United fan but those who do defend him need to get a grip.

The fans of Greenwood (not man united) are defending him, innocent until guilty, blaming her, not believing the evidence. I'm on other social media platforms like twitter and tik tok. On some videos on TT the comments are somewhat terrifying at how 'it isn't mason', 'he didn't do it' etc and it makes me wonder she said no many times, how many of they (predominantly) boys have that mindset of women are objects and that its okay to do that cause Mason Greenwood did. Footballers are such big rolemodels for boys from Manchester United, to Chelsea, To Burnley, to Leister that they look up to them as if they're borderline gods and seeing their icons doing those horrific things... Will they do that without the right education?

Just want to say I know that most Manchester United fans shunned Greenwood and rightfully so this is aimed at the people who manage to still defend the rapist and abuser that is Mason Greewood.

Leicester have registered fresh transfer interest in Manchester United and England midfielder Jesse Lingard, according to a report.The 28-year-old has enjoyed something of a rollercoaster 2021 following his earlier career struggles. His career at Old Trafford had ground to a halt, but his loan move to West Ham reinvigorated him. While he has earned minutes at United this season, he does not appear to be in his manager’s firm plans. In fact, he has only played 28 Premier League minutes, but is doing his best to impress. He netted deep into second-half stoppage time against Newcastle on Saturday after coming on as a substitute. Furthermore, Lingard continues to star after getting back in the England team – he scored twice during the recent international break. West Ham have proved his main admirers after enjoying his form last season. However, Leicester reportedly considered his transfer this summer amid doubts about James Maddison’s future. According to Fichajes, the Foxes still have Lingard on their radar. Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers knows that Maddison, who only signed a new contract last summer, will have eaten into two years of those terms by the end of next season. As such, an opportunity may present itself, the report claims, for Lingard’s fellow England midfielder to move to a ‘bigger team’. In turn, Leicester could swoop for Lingard, who has still not resolved his contractual situation at Old Trafford. Despite Solskjaer earmarking him as a player he wants in the squad, his deal runs out next summer. Fichajes notes that Lingard finds himself in a ‘difficult situation’ amid the presence of Jadon Sancho, Donny van de Beek and Mason Greenwood at United.
