2014: austin mahone invites 5h and shawn mendes on tour and they begin a friendship from there

2015:

The interviews begin asking Shawn about what he feels when it comes to camila.

they write the song “I know what you did last summer” at a taylor swift concert backstage and it was camilas gateway to the solo world in the same year the dating rumors began and they started doing promo for the song

multiple interviews are stot during this time including the infamous james corden interview where he asks if they are dating

a lot of singing ikwydls and they even exchanged christmas gifts

2016:

camila left 5h and went solo dec 19th and he supported her all the way with her separating herself from the girls

2018:

in january they were spotted dining in a cafe

He admits that his song “why” is about camila. the lyrics in the song are very “i love you but you don't love me back in that way” vibes (they will be down below)

should have said it is also supposed to be about how shawn confessed his feelings to her and she felt guilty that he didn't tell her sooner (the song is actually about lauren and her feelings toward her) and people say that feel it twice was also about shawn (both songs were written in 2018)

she admits in an interview that he is her canadian crush (this is when the pr really starts to form and blossom)

there was absolutely no photographs of them together until the 2018 vmas and after

About the camila PR: I feel like he was in love w her and she took advantage of that, knowing it would boost her image, and wasn’t rly in love w him. He was blindsided bc he thought he finally got her, and didn’t realize that she didn’t want a real relationship, only pr, after a while but now couldn’t get out of the “relationship” bc there was a contract. There’s no way he’s still in love w her, especially since he has definitely seen all the racist shit she’s said, and her misogynistic mindset.

Regarding c and s’s friendship, I don’t even believe they were friends before this whole drama. I remember when they were doing promo for ikwydls, and she said something along the lines of going partying together or some shit, and he threw her under the bus by saying that he has no idea what she’s talking about because they’ve never done anything like that together. Before we start, we just wanted to tell you that everything that is going to be said and mentioned are 100% true. If you have trust issues, try to find someone who KNOWS about the industry and ask them if it’s true.

We won’t make a timeline of Shawn and Camila’s relationship because it’s too long and you can find it on Google.

Here are some facts that you need to know:

Shawn and Camila first met in 2014 at Austin Mahone’s tour.

They started talking in 2015 when Shawn Mendes was an opening act for Taylor Swift’s tour and Camila Cabello (and her group Fifth Harmony) were special guests.

They wrote their hit song "I Know What You Did Last Summer" backstage for fun.

Since this day, Shawn and Camila are friends and many people started thinking they were dating.

Shawn and Camila HAVE always said they are friends and their relationship was purely platonic.

4 years later, Shawn and Camila release their second collaboration together, Señorita. It’s a sexy song with a steamy music video. This song was released when Camila Cabello was still dating Matthew Hussey but people wanted to see them dating.

Like we just mentioned, Camila Cabello was dating the famous British YouTuber, Matthew Hussey from February 2018 to June 2019 (right after Señorita).

On July 3rd, Shawn and Camila were pictured holding hands and these pictures broke the Internet.

There is also a picture of them "kissing" but there is a cactus hiding their mouths.

They spent the night together and went to a party on July 4th together, they looked very close.

Even though fans have been waiting for this moment to happen during years, people found it weird that Shawn and Camila start dating right after releasing a collab. Now, everyone thinks their relationship is PR (fake).

But here’s why their relationship is REAL.

Shawn and Camila’s friendship began in 2015, they weren’t as famous as they are now. If they needed promo, they should’ve started "dating" in 2015 to promote IKWYDLS.

A PR relationship (only for musicians) starts to promote a collaboration that flopped, meaning that it didn’t make it in the Top 10.

A PR relationship is based on the artists’ agreements, meaning that if Shawmila is promo, Camila and Shawn AGREED to fake this relationship and lie to their fans.

Señorita is #2, the music video has 228M views (after 3 weeks), people still talk about it. It doesn’t need promo AT ALL.

PR relationships most likely ruin a friendship.

PR relationships are not only created to promote a song, but also two careers.

Do Shawn and Camila really need to boost their career? No.

Here’s more common signs that Shawn and Camila are not PR:

Shawn refused to talk about his relationship with Camila at his tour.

They went out together at 5AM and asked fans to NOT take pictures of them.

PR relationships are protected by the media, meaning that they know it’s promo but they still protect it. Journalists don’t, Hollywood Life (unreliable sources by the way) stated they were PR, same with E! (Not evidence that they are PR, those are just theories).

If Shawn and Camila were PR, they would’ve posted selfies together, literally exposing their relationship.

A photo of them at the 4th of July party got posted, but the account is private.

I will expose PR relationships and talk more about it in another post. Just know that Shawn and Camila’s relationship is 100% REAL.

I get what you mean about it feeling like IKWYDLS but I actually think this a bit different. Like I think a lot has changed at least image-wise for the both of them and I mean, I do believe they're two friends that want to make music together but this whole thing is just another PR stunt, isn't it? Shawmila is a thing after all and it's going to draw attention, like yeah whatever she has a ''boyfriend'' but just as we believe camren are star-crossed lovers there are some people that think 1/3

Why Camren Was PR.

This theory started with a screenshot if Camila saying that it in fact was her “JOB” to post pictures of her and Lauren. Her friend also clarified it was XFactor.

These where put out in a leak of more Camila Facebook messages and some photos of these leak were proven to be real by Camilas friend.

And also management as seen below. These leaks where from allysuswillrise on twitter. She leaked pictures, texts, and DMS of the girls.

Lauren posted her second picture with Camila late 2012 with the caption being just #camren and Camilas @ no words which is weird for Lauren. This was also one of the most liked Lauren posts at that time.

So Fifth Harmony had joined epic records in late 2012 to early 2013. Camila posted this photo of Lauren and her In early 2013.

You can see here that Camilas posts were a lot higher than Laurens just two months before. This was also one of the most liked posts on her account. Epic being as smart as they are would have seen this and said "hey this is bringing in a majority of fans cause they think they are together" and then they would have kept this PR promo started by Xfactor so the band would grow majorly. This is a strategy called queer baiting which is essentially marketing something to someone by producing a gay relationship to help market and they did this until 2015.

This is the last one of Laurens Camren posts. But I do not have an exact date from Camila because soon after her 2016 departure from the group she deleted most posts of the group members.

Their interactions where basically only on twitter and whenever they had group things.

But in early 2015 Camila started doing solo stuff which has also led to ikwydls at the end if 2015. This stuff had also led to Ally Brooke contacting Dina Lapolt to look over their contracts.

Dina Lapolt had said that Fifth Harmonies contracts (specifically Dinah, Ally, Normani, And Laurens) where the worst contracts she had ever seen. Also the girls where young when they signed and didn't know much either. Now considering this, it also proves that the girls had a possibility of not having control of their accounts. Which it is illegal for a company to use a minors social media to any extent if it is not them posting or being forced. By the girls saying that the 5h account on twitter posted on a few occasions with them not being there we can assume this was management taking control. Which if that is true it also proves them posting for Camila and Lauren or forcing them to post.

By the looks of it Dina LaPolt got the girls a deal of they can post pretty much whatever they want but they have to get it checked by management and they have to post group things as well as premote on their platforms.

For the rest of Camilas time with Fifth Harmony the only big things Camren shippers were talking about was interviews. No for those who dont know Management receives a list if questions and can blacklist things they dont want asked. But also with this list they prep the girls for what needs to be said, and things they can't say. Now that takes care of words, let's move to motions. Lauren has only really been caught staring at Camila and we need to be honest Lauren looks at everyone that way. (Also staring at someone while they speak doesn't mean they are dating it means that you are paying attention it is polite) Now Camila has been whole different ball game since she stuck her fingers in her mouth during that one interview. Reasons for her doing this could be as follows: she had food dust on her hands (from eating cheetos, or takis, ext.), she could have been bored, she could just be fucking weird, possibly joking, or she could have been trying to fuck with Lauren because she knew Lauren was bi before most of the world did cause the group knew before fans.. (Last part was brought to light by a friend)

Next part to prove Camren isn't real was that Lauren's photographer for what was to be her coming out photoshoot with Lucy Vies had stated that Lauren and Lucy had been dating on and off for years. We didn't really get to see this because Lauren wasn't allowed to post while camren PR was happening. And she was also advised to not come out.

Lauren not being able to post with Lucy in the past shines a light to why she so heavily posts pictures of her and ty as much as she can. She wants to show everyone she's happy in a loving relationship.

We all know that Tyren is real, and are very happy for them! I'm very glad to be supporting Laurens happiness as much as possible in this point in her life.

Camren was never real. Lauren has stated multiple times that camren was and never will be real and this theory explains it. This theory also explains why Camila has not and will never deny Camren. Camren shippers are a big portion of Camilas fan base. Easily about 20-40% of Camilas fandom as well as Fifth Harmony's fandom are Camren Shippers. But Camila gets such a good image from the ship because she never denies their wet dreams and fantasy's to be fake as Lauren has. She is easily the favorite of Camren Shippers they will always choose her side for this reason. They also are making Camila a fuck load if money as well.

That's it for this theory but I highly believe this to be true. The more you look into it the more it adds up.

I'm tired about the hate Camila has been getting for the past few months so let me address something. After the release of ILWYDLS, a large chunk of people started turning their back on Camila. People would call for her to leave the group and basically bully her where she was either needing to defend herself or not come on Twitter at all. This went on for the longest time until she actually left. And even to this day she's receiving hate comments.

"Camila was using 5H for promo but couldn't take the heat when they were asked about her"

This one is pretty stupid. Go back to any of her interviews and you won't see one single bad sentence about them. She wished success for them on Down. If she had been asked and refused to answer, the 5H stans' narrative would've been she doesn't care about them enough to acknowledge them. The only ~not so positive~ mention MIGHT be I Have Questions. And even then she doesn't want to reveal who it's about. 5H on the other hand completely ambushed her. In the letter tweeted on December 19th, it was worded to say she had announced she was leaving at that exact moment but in the interview they said they went over the entire OT4 thing in April 2016. They basically wrote off her depression as "we couldn't change her and I sleep at night knowing I at least tried" (which was pretty fucking ironic how they demeaned her considering the focus shifted on Lauren's mental health like 2 sentences later). If you tell lies about someone, expect a reaction. It’s simple.

"Camila is racist"

Concerning the Facebook messages, never ever was she Camila Cabello. She was always Karla Cabello, there's literally screenshots online. She never called Normani the N word. It’s actually simple to get the most generic photo on Google, make it your profile picture and go along with it.

Concerning her 1D fan account and few DMs that leaked from 2014, she was literally a kid who owned up to it the minute it got leaked. She never tried shifting the blame, she took the heat and apologized for everything. I'm not excusing her for her actions but we're not all born knowing what's right and what isn't. Since her apology, she has shown support for the Black Lives Matter (each word has a different tweet) movement, even being seen in a Colin Kaepernick shirt (who is currently offering a free program to teach POC how to interact with police officers). The "Camila is racist" narrative is used as a petty way to demean her for something people made up or she had already apologized for. Camila isn’t the person she was before. A person who has not grown will try to change the environment around them to seem right, they wouldn’t correct themselves.

To sum it all up, Camila released her music at the end of the group’s singles’ life on the charts. IKWYDLS didn’t release until Worth It fell of the charts. Bad Things was released a few weeks after That’s My Girl showed no life whatsoever to be a hit like Work From Home or Worth It. Camila is a snake for writing with Shawn Mendes at a Taylor Swift concert. Camila is a snake for releasing her music when Worth It fell off the charts. Lauren, however, is a lyrical genius even after it was revealed she planned to collab with Marian Hill back around the time IKWYDLS was released. Lauren isn’t shunned for releasing Back To Me when That’s My Girl starts doing numbers? Lauren isn’t to blame for the group’s falling out when That’s My Girl was barely breathing and she decided that performing Back To Me was a must? That’s funny. Also let’s not mention how Ally debut her own solo song A WEEK AFTER Fifth Harmony’s comeback single Down was released and how Lauren collaborated with Halsey to release Strangers A WEEK BEFORE Down was released. Fifth Harmony and their fans had to be pissed after experiencing the same thing with Camila, right? Nope, now they say that solo projects keep the group together.

“Camila never defended the girls. She left them in the dust while her fans kept attacking them”

Except she did. This was a response to Normani receiving racial comments.

Response to The Vamps sexist comments about Lauren Jauregui.

MEANWHILE Camila was receiving comments saying she wasn’t committed or wouldn’t “share” solos. She responded to the person:

Here’s your answer.

So you’re telling me Fifth Harmony managed to go through all those months not seeing the hate Camila got? You’re telling me Dinah and Normani, people who constantly check their indirects and timelines never peeped her getting hate and only saw love and support to them? Camila wasn’t listed on May 11th 2016, not April 2016. Here’s the funny part:

“We called for group meetings which she refused, we asked LA Reid and the label to step in and try to set meetings, which again, she refused. We even went as far as group counseling which she did not show up to.” ---- Fifth Harmony’s letter to fans announcing Camila’s departure.

EXCEPT:

Camila was spotted with LA Reid in April 2016, a person the group claimed Camila never saw. At the second picture, the guy’s name is Joey Arbagey. On his Linkedin profile, he’s listed as the VP of A&R at Epic Records, So you’re telling me it’s just a coincidence Camila was seen with LA/Epic Records consultant a few weeks before everything was done for good? Camila just attended a meeting that the group said she never went to? Interesting.

And last but not least

Hello my beautiful people! It is your friendly neighborhood OT5/ Camren stan and I am going to give my opinion on this video entitled “How Camila Cabello Derailed Her Career”. So without further ado, here we go!

This video talks about her in fifth harmony and says they were not really a breakout group but still had some success with hits like ‘Sledgehammer’, ‘Worth It’, and ‘WFH’ but they had no standout qualities like other girl groups. He goes on to say that things were getting muddy when she was doing solo projects and the other girls were not and goes on to say that ‘IKWYDLS’ and ‘Bad Things’ were the gateway to her leaving and having creative freedom, which we all know is true. He also says that she did plan to stay in the group while working on what then was ‘The Loving, The Hurting, The Healing’ but is now her self titled album ‘Camila’. She left because they would not let her write or explore that side of her while in the group and it furthered my theory that she never wanted to leave the group or her tour family but was forced to choose between a career that she loved and a career where she felt stuck with no help. She is definitely not an overnight sensation because she had to find her voice again. 

The creator starts listing reasons why she started to derail as an artist and I am going to list them here as well. The first reason being her past with racism and how that resurfaced right around the time romance was released. She did issue an apology and she has grown. Nobody really thought that this would affect her career but it did, which is honestly surprising because there are so many racist singers and actors that still have their careers but she is one of the only ones that have really taken a major hit to their career and has negatively affected her image. He says that cnizers would attack normani (which did happen) and she would say nothing about it but the thing is, she is not responsible for our actions and even if she did denounce them for being racist and tell them to stop, they were not going to stop and their actions hurt the rest of the actual camilizers who know how to actually behave ourselves. As we all know, mani spoke out about it and it breaks my heart to see her say that Cam didn’t care but we all know why she didn’t address it as soon as possible and that is because she doesn't go online that often and she also doesn't have full access to her own social medias at the time and still does not have full access but it was way worse back then. 

Romance is the next reason he lists and he says that the record has very few good tracks and the autotune for this record was not good and neither was her vocal processing. I say that was a lie and that the album did not have very good promo. We all know that her management hates doing promo for her and I feel like we didn't get the proper promo for this one. All of her songs she can and has sung fully live and this record was to just play with her voice and her sound a little bit. Every musician has that album where they like to play with their sound a little and this one was it for her. We start to see her full range on this album. This era was definitely rough seeing as this is when the circus started and this was also around the pandemic. This was also one of the shortest musical eras that we got from Camila and it was one of my favorites. This era was where she started to get into the R&B sound and a lot of people didn’t like it. This album underperformed because of all the singles that were put out before the album even dropped (thx management) and it just didn’t have the hype that it should have, overall making this era kind of a flop, but this era had the best aesthetic in my opinion.

Shawn Mendes was ALSO listed as a reason that her career derailed and i 100% agree that they were a publicity stunt and they most definitely played it up when doing live performances and in the music video. They had intertwined too much of their careers and it got annoying to say the least. The songs, documentary, pap pictures, were all too much and it was super fucking gross. 

The video ends by saying that her career is still far from over and that is very true. I would love to see her act more as well as a couple more albums before she retires from music and being in the spotlight

who’s going to be the first asshole to say that was actually Cabello who jumped off the stage?

Gotta say that performance was EXTRA. at a level befitting the VMAs.

The jump, the splits, the water. The Mic Drop... so much But I think it was all symbolic. It seemed like a story, beginning to end

Note Charlemagne asking about her during their carpet interview and their response.  for a song she had nothing to do with, 

Cabello left the group. They didn’t kick her out. They did what they could to keep her in the group. There is no evidence of them bullying her or excluding her From the beginning, she admitted that she chose to leave functions early. She left Ally at a TS concert to do promo with Shawn Mendes She didn’t go to a TS concert with the girls because she was working on a project with Diplo She told them she was celebrating her birthday with her family then went to celebrate it with TS, they found out through social media. On the press tour for IKWYDLS, she barely, if she even, mentioned the girls unless asked. She even talked about starting a band...while she was in the group. She looked like a solo artist on social media. She separated herself in interviews and in photos My point, she seemed to always want to be solo, at least since IKWYDLS. I kind of believe the idea that the label always wanted her to be solo too. Billboard said she was working on solo music for the better part of 2016. I would say that she never should have been in the group, but the label may have thought she needed grooming before she went solo and thought the group was the best place for it.

I’d also like to note, when Cabello came out with IHQ, people automatically thought it was about 5H and Cabello never denied it. People even think her entire album is about 5H. And people loved it. Never giving Cabello shit for being shady.

If you like 5H, fine. If you like Cabello, fine. If you like both, fine. you don’t have to pick sides. But like a divorced couple, they aren’t together anymore. They don’t have anything to do with each other anymore. Nobody likes talking about their ex. When people divorce, there isn’t always a bad guy. People grow apart or realize they should have never been together. And hopefully they get on with their lives hopefully everyone will stop mentioning them together. Or in reference to each other

This may have also been a message to their followers. They may lose a lot of followers. Maybe people will stop claiming to be fans while they are talking shit about them. I really rather them lose fans then have fans that talk shit about them every chance they get. If you are so disappointed in them, unstan. remove the stress from your life.

Suddenly, it feels like the grandmasters of the game are purposely pitting Camila and Lauren against each other. The two IT girls of 5h, and eventually, the two girls with the biggest potential to be successful soloists.

IKWYDLS was their way of knowing if Camila would make it. I have a feeling that if that collab flopped, their label would then try to test Lauren’s bankability. (If I’m not mistaken, BTM was recorded for a while before it was released)

But then IKWYDLS soared high, and the label saw that Camila could make it. And the rest is history.

Of course, if Camila becomes a solo act, the label also need another next big thing from their milking cow – errm, I mean 5h – so who’s better suited than the former initial it girl, LMJ, right?

When Bad Things came out, Lauren’s collab with Marian Hill was released soon after. And despite the huge advantage Camila had (radio-friendly genre, rigorous promos etc), it’s like it’s Lauren’s turn to test the waters, and see if she could compete with the rising solo star that is Camila. And she did. Even if Back to Me didn’t trend as much as BT, it was still a success considering it was barely promoted, and considering the genre wasn’t mainstream in the first place, it still made waves, bigger than most indie acts. They still saw the pull Lauren has when it comes to her fanbase.

And now, Camila has just released CITC/IHQ, and it’s perfect timing that Lauren’s collab with Halsey was released. And fans loved it. Magazines are praising Strangers. And we all know that some magazines are paid to hype up an artist or a song. And both CITC/IHQ and Strangers are being hyped af rn.

I know it’s Halsey’s song (and I’m not downplaying her pull with her own fans etc) but Lauren has as much impact in this even as just a feature, and it’s already obvious seeing those mags and articles praising “Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony” etc etc.

Obviously, Camila would still be first priority, since the label already spent a chunk on her. But Lauren’s seemingly paving her sweet way, steadily and surely, so when the time the cow has been drained and milked for all its worth, Lauren would be ready.

This is not me playing along the “narrative” (a much-hackneyed word in this fandom) theories and all.

This is just my observation as a music fan and as a harmonizer.

I’m not complaining though. Camren slaying the world? I’m sold. 👏🏻👏🏻
