i rlly hope nobody tries to accuse u of breaking boundaries when ran n jack are one-off characters they were roleplaying as. its like saying if u ship characters from TAZ (a dnd podcast) that u ship real people. With dsmp i can understand the discomfort, since the characters on there are basically evolved self inserts. But with tftsmp characters they usually arent connected to the people playing them apart from the fact… thats their actor. The only correlation between ranboo and ran is that ranboo is the actor that plays ran, and the same is with jackie and tubbo. If people cant discern that difference, thats on them and not you. I relate to that fear of being cancelled, but i think u should keep enjoying urself and making the content u want to see. The opinions of random people online dont matter unless u let them. Ur a talented writer & artist and im glad u decided to write knifetrick at all in the first place.

thank you. the thing is they turn that around on me by saying “they have no basis for a relationship in the pit episode so you’re just shipping them to ship bee duo” like. no i didn’t even ship them in the first place i was literally gonna write them as platonic crime buddies but because they are their OWN CHARACTERS (who are Not Ranboo And Tubbo) they developed their own dynamic and lots of people wanted it to become romantic so i was like. why not, these are my characters and it’s pretty fun to write!

but twitter people don’t see it that way, they weren’t HERE for the 30k words of ran learning to be a person with feelings and solving a dangerous mystery, they just see One Line in the most recent chapter and they’re like “oh my god a shipfic . that’s so gross.”

and the thing is i completely agree?? like if someone wrote a ranjack shipfic right after the pit i would be really weirded out because? WHY would you do that?

but knifetrick ran and jackie have so much history and buildup that’s completely original… and twitter peeps don’t know that, especially if they haven’t read it.

its really upsetting and frustrating

why did you choose your url? well, i wanted to be magpie sims originally but that name was taken and all my other socials are whale themed to here we are!

why did you start your blog in the first place? i first started a simblr dont @ me for this bc of watching lilsimsie on youtube, so i wanted a place to save cc, i started making content on ace-sims (deactivated) bc someone invited me to an a-spec sims server on discord, changed my account to swampysims (inactive) with my partner at the time and then left it bc i was putting too much value on notes and engagement, then started this one bc i missed the community and making things in the sims!

why did you choose your icon/pfp? i had the idea for it and im in a server with a bunch of artists so i commissioned it from one of my friends! (her info is in my about page :3)

why did you choose your header? it is my dnd character Firbolg the Firbolg and i love her with my entire life
