Summary:

Being immortal had come with certain unforeseen consequences. Dream would call them perks, but Tommy wasn’t so sure about that. The simplest explanation would be that over the years they had amassed a certain cult following of people erroneously believing he and Dream were gods of some kind. And Dream, megalomaniac bastard that he was, had played along with it the whole way through. He let them erect statues and temples in his honor. He let them create ballads that sang his praises, and paintings depicting him as this mighty all powerful being, and he encouraged them to conduct rituals to honor him and pray to him. Tommy genuinely had not wanted anything to do with it. He wasn’t a god. He hadn’t even wanted to become immortal. He was stuck in a permanent Limbo of missing his family as they laid to rest beyond a paper-thin veil that he could never seem to rip apart. He hated it, and the last thing he needed was thousands of people reminding him of his misfortune constantly. He made that clear to Dream when he left to live in the woods as a hermit. He did not want to be disturbed. - or, Tommy and Dream have two very different ideas of what immortality is all about...

Immortal c!Primeboys drabble (not edited at all)

The graveyard is full.

Phil was the last one to go, in the end. He'd lived until there was no one else, then lived some more, until he'd decided it was time to go.

Tommy had wanted to beg him not to. But that was not his right. It was a painful existence, being alone. He knew that.

Rows upon rows of familiar names etched into stone. The only ones missing were those who left. Those like Wilbur. It was always worse when they left. There was no grave to talk to, no possibility that he could see them again.

There was wear and tear on some of the memorials, where Tommy had leaned on them. He'd only noticed by the time Tubbo's name started getting hard to read. Of course it would be too much to ask that Tommy did even the bare minimum of keeping his friend's grave in good condition. One more thing he failed him on. Tommy made a mental note to add that to the list.

Dream didn't come around here very often. Didn't really see a reason to, Tommy guessed. It wasn't like Dream missed any of these people. And now that everyone was gone, there was no reason to keep an eye on Tommy. This empty, ruined world was their playground now. An awful husk of what once was home, only good for world-scale games of hide and seek now.

Tommy didn't talk much anymore. Dream didn't really either. Punz only showed up to revive Dream nowadays, busy looting far away places, or whatever Punz did with his spare time. Tommy didn't care. He'd run out of new things to say a long time ago anyway. They all had. Apart from Dream's mutterings as he worked, which had long stopped making sense, there was silence.

Nothing and no one. No sound. No people. Even the discs had been worn down by the needle of the jukebox until they scratched and dented, no longer even resembling their original tune. Tommy didn't even remember what they used to sound like.

He remembered Tubbo's voice though. Wilbur's sigh. Ranboo's nervous stammering when he didn't know what to say. Niki laughing until she was gasping for breath. Sam's quiet reassurances. Techno's humour.

Long gone. But they were all Tommy had left to remind him what being a person was like.

I should actually make a post about the primeboys double life au here before I go to bed actually. All c! and /p obviously.

Basically, the main concept of this AU is that the world of the Dream SMP now runs on the three life system and soulmates mechanic of Double Life. Since this isn’t a death game, it is very slightly different- reds don’t have to kill people but feel intense urges for violence which leads to them generally being massively distrusted, while greens and yellows certainly can kill people but possess a strong aversion.

Eryn and Tommy are soulmates, along with George and Dream.

Dream’s goal is to find a way to cheat the lives system. At first, this starts off benign, mostly wanting to help reds overcome their (often incredibly distressing) urges, but as time goes on it more becomes wanting to specifically find a way to remain effectively immortal himself.

Eryn and Tommy have been distant for quite a while, but obviously the L’Manburg deaths and the whole exile arc clued Eryn in that something wasn’t right, so that’s why he ended up travelling to the SMP.

Sometime before exile, Dream starts to do research on the idea of transferring soul bonds, because he wants Tommy to be his soulmate. After all, he was far more useful than George would ever be, and it’d be far easier to control him with a soul bond on his side.

During experimenting on Vikk and Lazar, who are soulmates in this AU, he’s experimenting to see how the soul bond works as much as the revive book.

In prison, after killing Tommy, Dream is able to cut a deal with XD- revive Tommy, sever both his and Dream’s existing bonds, and make them soulmates, in return for Dream allowing XD to make George his soulmate.

Tommy no longer fits into any of the previous life categorisations, and Dream’s lives match his now. Their lives are instead grey, and they don’t experience the bloodlust they did as reds, but any other potential side effects or what would happen if they die are unknown.

Being soulmates with someone not only causes you to take their wounds, but in this AU you also are very subtly effected by all the physical and emotional things your soulmate experiences. So for a while both Dream and Tommy are very off balance both physically and mentally, not massively so but in such a way they’re very clearly wrong.

While the strange effects on their lives was visible, the fact Dream and Tommy had a bond was something the two of them kept a secret for a while after. Tommy didn’t want to talk about it at all, while Dream wanted to keep it secret. It was initially entirely believed to be a revival side effect for the both of them (which while it is for Tommy it isn’t for Dream) up until Quackity visits Dream in the prison for the first time… yeah, it doesn’t end well for anyone involved there.

What Dream did- swapping a bond- is something that’s never happened before. Of course, people have tried, but attempts at best ended in horrible failure, at worst, in painful deaths. On top of that, revival is also something unheard of, and a grey colour life isn’t mentioned anywhere. As such, Tommy and Dream defy the laws of nature simply by existing, and as such, they both are considered terrifying and dangerous, even more than the reds. Tommy resents this greatly, though at least his closest friends don’t seem to be swayed by this and still come by to visit.

Quackity tries breaking Dream and Tommy’s soul bond with gapples, like he did with his own bond with Schlatt, but it had no effect. As far as anyone can figure out, it’s irreversible.

At this point, basically everyone in the server but again Tommy’s closest friends have decided he is a Terrifying Cryptid that Should Be Avoided At All Costs and not a terrified teenager who is going through a horrifically traumatising and completely unique experience and who just wants to be treated like a person.

Tommy knows due to his experience with Limbo and seeing Eryn there that soulmates share a limbo, and that idea terrifies him more than anything. He refuses to tell Dream, fearing what his knowledge of that would lead to. Dream, however, already knows due to his experiences with Vikk and Lazar.

Meanwhile, Eryn was also revived along with Tommy- albeit with no soul bond anymore- and is incredibly fucking confused and desperate to figure out what the fuck happened there.

The C!Prime Primer!

Since I’ve been getting a whole lot of new followers after my Pokemon posts, I’m sure a lot of you are confused about the two little guys I’m constantly posting about. This is the post for that!

What is c!Prime?

c!Prime is short for c!Primeboys. c!Primeboys, or c!Discduo, is the name for the platonic relationship between c!TommyInnit and c!Dream from the Dream SMP.

So, are these real people?

No. c!Tommy and c!Dream are fictional characters portrayed by the YouTubers they are named after. They’re very distinct from their actors.

Didn't you know that the real people involved are problematic?

Yes, you don’t need to tell me and I do not support that. I do not watch or interact with Dream or his content at all, and while I think Tommy is alright as a whole he’s done bad shift I don’t support. I simply don’t see why that should affect my writing of fictional characters they played in a no longer active server.

So, who are c!Tommy and c!Dream?

c!Tommy is a severely mentally ill child soldier who, while loyal and good at heart, hides that behind a mask of toxic masculinity and is just kind of a dickhead teenager a lot of the time. c!Dream is a mad scientist obsessed over the idea of immortality, who hides his emotions and attachments out of fear yet desperately wants friends and family. The two of them are in a deeply unhealthy and abusive friendship, where c!Dream is physically and emotionally abusive towards c!Tommy and conditioning him into seeing him as his only friend.

Is this canon? Was the Dream SMP always like this?

Basically, yeah! While a lot of the content I have about them comes down to personal interpretation, they canonically are part of a storyline about child abuse and trauma.

Why are you so obsessed with Minecraft child abuse?

Multiple reasons. For one, I'm both autistic and ADHD, and it’s both a special interest and a hyperfixation to me. Also, I just enjoy writing horror. But most importantly, the Dream SMP and c!Primeboys storyline helped me come to terms with my own abuse, and I want to help others do that with my own work.

What if I'm uncomfortable with these themes?

Feel free to block the ���Primeboys (Derogatory)” tag!

Is this meant to romanticise/glorify/normalise abuse?

Absolutely not. I intend to do the opposite- to depict abuse frankly and to show how horrific it’s effects are. Ideally, I’d like to help others realise what they went through wasn’t okay, as that’s what canon helped me do. I intentionally depict aspects of abuse often not shown- most notably, non-sexual abuse by an unrelated authority figure, the mindset of an abuser, and the mixed feelings a victim might have to their abuser, but this is not to normalise anything. It’s to shed light onto overlooked areas of abuse in the hope it’ll help people realise that this is a part of it.

I like AUs. Also, I am plagued with visions about them that haunt my dreams.

Why are you so defensive over two Minecraft characters?

Years of harassment. I had a harassment campaign against me accusing me of shipping these two, romanticising abuse, being a predator myself, and in general sending me victim blaming bullshit and gross sexual shit in my inbox since I was a minor myself. I also have moral scrupulousity, and part of that revolves around fiction. Sorry if I’m a bit of a bitch about that, literally just tell me because sometimes I don’t realise it.
