Accurate Hearing in Automated Servant

Footstepping sounds off the small clopping hooves of the automated servant in the hall's paintsoftened cinderblock. The servant steps carefully to avoid nails and debris directed by accurate sensors directed by software so corrupted in the download that this automated servant maneuvers in a world unrelated to the one shoveling inputs. Spontaneous smell of a mosspatch dying gives no active suggestions only a small confusion. Only the mind of god were trained on this automated servant would detect as each steps still forward on the floor's growing cold. Sound is an exception. By chance there exists alignment of this corrupted audio processor and a cut through the world at this distance from the Core where sound loosed from source has a distance to near the same degree as the corruption in the servant. This accidental parallel has kept this small being alive. It is alert to sounds that animals suffer merely to perceive through a veil of correction.

Splits in the ceiling tiles let in blooms of light yellow color flashes when a servant's missed careful step flicks a clip of sewer pipe against the grain of the floor arcs antsize spark into the barrel of the servant's torso onto wrapped paper preserving the repair info infoplate. Fire starts. The servant's corrupted mind appears now to itself lost in a colorado ravine. Clear registered sound of fire from within the belly accurately perceived but no frantic steps now. Altered gait clops along in a beat recognizes the metaphoric "fire burnt within" as realistic experience. Fire spreads. In ravine marching the servant hears wires melt movements to speed up out of any prepared control. Fire is automatic too, makes the burnt movements too automatic jerking the servant legs forth against the wall a horse's style wild backkick them into the brick. The tin hoofs flatten to beer can hockey pucks heighth. The sound legs slammed to points for each step taken down the ravine, the sound of fire now lit on the oilbase plastic panels, the feeling of this ravine in colorado where snows round dirt and steps should be took sure to avoid falls. Confusion is the last approximation made as the fire fills itself on the main processor bank.

And with it the servant and with it that small box. The only place for some several billions of light years where sound was heard rightly in parallel with the world even if on accident.

We do limit one instance of each incarnation. But we allow multiple incarnations per character (i.e a Hero of Time and a Hero of Twilight.) Again, think Linked Universe.

Your server seems nice but I want something... different.

We see you out there. You modern AU types. You 18+ folks. You like Zelda but damn is it hard for you to do a canon setting. Or maybe you just don't want to have to read a long complex lore and struggle to adhere to it. It just doesn't feel right, y'know?

Trust me, we know.

Introducing our college AU server! 

Here your characters can say the "fuck" word without fear of being OOC. They can be the underpaid barista working minimum wage at Starbucks explaining to everyone that it's an early Rito and NOT a Zora on their logo. Or maybe they're an adjunct lecturing the dark arts to a bunch of adderall high 20 somethings.

We accept canons AND OCs. You could, theoretically, join for the "fantasy college" and not even be a Zelda fan. The mods wouldn't mind. You may have to do a bit of reading but it's possible. Do we see that happening? Probably not. Not with these tags. Not with this Tumblr account being the one to post the ad.

One thing you should be mindful of is that this server will be riddled with dark themes. This is an +18 server through and through. We use this questionnaire as a roadblock to discourage minors but it has a section on potential subject matter that may come up in rp. If you're afraid that one of your triggers may come up, just follow the link and attempt to do the questionnaire. It is mandatory to gain access to the roleplay regardless. Once it's completed, if everything looks in order, join the server.

Are you a selective roleplayer?

Are you afraid that in a group you might not be able to be as picky?

Well here you can. We have both open AND closed style roleplay rooms. Now the selective and the open can coexist. Now you can be a part of a group without having to roleplay with people or muses you feel uncomfortable with. 

Not that we think it would be a problem. We're pretty good about screening. 

People who don't meet our format are not approved for roleplay.

We want compelling characters that are fun to roleplay with. This means we're going to have to turn down the applications that aren't quite "comfortable" in our style of roleplay. Luckily we have it all laid out on our Carrd. That way you know our standards without having to ask.
