Really delayed question given where we are in the comic, but what's up with Viz? Seems like a real ray of sunshine, and he is apparently related to Nix and it's at least partially his fault.

Why is he like this, what are his opinions on events so far, besides being a dick

I don't know why I ask this, I just sorta find him neat, like a bizarre plant

vis is... a mess LMAO. i definitely dont blame you for finding him neat in a "i want to study you like a fucked up parasite under a microscope" way. i assure you that theres more to his character than just being a shit authority figure, though that doesn't take away from the awful stuff he does.

a lot of his baggage will take a while to come to light, some of it will definitely be revealed in the first volume, while more heavy-hitters will come later than that. ;) just know that answers will come in time!

It's funny that if Swiftfire just brought the corps back with him things might have gone better, it would explain the blood and smell, it would make him less suspicious as this is a thing clan cats do, and he might have noticed the fur on Eelstar's claws while doing so.

Though I am sure that Swiftfire is currently mulling over every thing he could have done better as he is trapped in a prison and his sister yells at him outside

I love that Swiftfire is sort of a dumbass, like in most stories the murderer has a plan and cover story and this guy just... doesn't

Dude walks into camp covered in Eelstar's blood and then just gives the most nothing answer about how he died, "He died in battle or smt." Then the first person that isn't his friends or family just destroy his story by pointing out the obvious and asking about the body.

If Starclan didn't decide to go Judge Judy on him he would be dead so fast

Makes him so interesting and entertaining, what drove him to murder? why did he fail THIS badly at it?

I'm so happy to get an observation/analysis like this!! In his head, Swiftfire was trusted in his Clan all around so no one would judge him. The murder was impulsive, so the last minute plan was:

Hide the body —> announce his death at camp —> Blame HollowClan —> Go back to the body —> Dump it in the ocean

As for motive, that'll be revealed later through a MAP call in the works! :D
