rulti ramble??

JESUS I LOVE YOU /p a phrase i never thought i'd say in my life ever but let's just roll with it !!!

okay okay so uhhhhh fuck where do i start ??!?!

i'm in the process of writing the second chapter of this fic which, if you're don't wanna read it, it's basically ftm rain dealing with dysphoria and then fucking swiss about it (to whom he is not yet out to, so uhhh... very bad idea on rain's part) which only makes him feel worse, and the whole thing ends with some mountrain softness <3

and the second chapter is 4600 words (so far, there's still a lot of story left to go O_O) of rulti hurt/comfort ft. a coming out scene and hopefully some very affirming and euphoric sex, haha :D

this was less of a ramble and more of a shameless self promo i am so sorry, but as compensation for having to sit thought that skdjfbsdkf have a little snippet :)

“I do have one more question though,” Swiss admitted slowly.

Rain nodded. “Yeah? Go ahead.”

“Okay so, uh– Fuck, I’m gonna word this badly, I just know it,” he groaned.

“That’s okay. I don’t mind how you phrase it, just… Don’t be a dick, you know?”

Swiss chuckled. “Hmm, I think I can manage that,” he teased. “You’ve said you’re not a girl,” he started. “So, uh– What– What are you?”

Rain sighed in relief, that was a much more manageable question than what he’d been expecting. “I’m like Dew,” he said by way of explanation, hoping Swiss would be able to understand what he meant.

“So you’re a guy? Ghoul? …You know what I mean.”

“Yeah. Yeah, exactly.”

“Well,” Swiss began, eyes sparkling with mirth. “Is now a good time to say you’re the handsomest ghoul I’ve ever seen?”

Rain stared at the multi ghoul for a few seconds before both of them burst out laughing, all remaining tension broken. “You fucking flirt!” Rain chuckled, leaning further into Swiss’ hold. The multi ghoul squeezed him gently, pulling him closer to pepper soft kisses all over his face. Rain squirmed in his arms, pretending to object to the barrage of affection being directed his way.

These are just artists I like, not a particular genre or like at all comparing them to ghost, so...yeah!

Orville Peck! My favorite songs: Let Me Drown, Nothing Fades Like The Light, and City of Gold

Steam Powered Giraffe! My favorite songs: Fire, Fire (first song I ever listened to from them and WOW I LOVE IT), Brass Goggles, and Honeybee :)

The Mechanism, another steampunk (ish) band. My favorite songs: Hellfire, Sleeping Beauty, red signal Losing Track!

Aviators, he makes a lot of songs about video games. My Favorite songs: Find Me, Godhunter, Hell Has an Elevator

They Might Be Giants. I don't have to explain. My favorite songs: The Mesopotamians, Birdhouse in your Soul, Kiss Me Son of God

The Crane Wives. My favorite songs: Take Me to War, The Hand That Feeds, Icarus

Three Days Grace (DONT JUDGE ME THEY'RE GOOD). My favorite songs: Painkiller, Infra-Red, I Am Machine

outside of Ghost, what music recommendations would you give to people?

ooooo this depends on what you listen to. if you like rock kinda similar to Ghost i recommend Demons and Wizards, Dream Theater, Deep Purple (i really only know Highway Star but its very good), Danzig, Ludo, and Nico Vega

If you want more general "hey what do you like to listen to" recommendations my go to bands outside of Ghost, I'd say Eureka Machines, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, Greta Van Fleet, Masayoshi Takanaka(this is a VERY DIFFERENT TYPE OF MUSIC TO THE REST OF THIS LMAO), Dawes, Cosmo Sheldrake, Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo, Toadies, Priest (mainly their first album its the best), and Artist Vs Poet

I feel like my music taste is a bit… eclectic?

Big BIG into showtunes. Cats, Phantom, Jesus Christ Superstar (I guess I really like Andrew Lloyd Webber...)

I’m coocoo for Starkid and all their musicals. I listen to the Twisted and Trail to Oregon soundtrack on repeat.

If I could seriously recommend anything it would be their Hatchetfield musicals, including their nightmare time series which has some killer songs.

One of my favourite bands is definitely The Orion Experience, they’re so groovy and I love literally every song they put out.

I listen to a lot of instrumentals too? Mostly Celtic folk music (I play a LOT of dnd) but I like video game soundtracks too. The Darkside Detective soundtrack is great if you like spooky funky synth.

Very unashamedly listen to the Bluey album all the time. Dance mode was my most listened to song last year 😂

In regards to metal, I like Sabaton, Nekrogoblikon, Brothers of Metal, Majestica and I’m partial to Avenged Sevenfold for the nostalgia

More classically I love Toto and Erasure, ELO and Elton John, and I’m always add some Frank Sinatra to my playlists

Also Cody Frost, who doesn’t really fit into like any other genre I like so I don’t even know how to describe them but they’re super cool.

I also think every song should have a KK Slider cover.

11. Something I did this year I want to do again next year: can I choose two? I want to go away for Thanksgiving again with my husband, that was amazing and so much less stress. And I'd love to see Ghost in Europe again

19. Something I'm excited about for next year: right away I'm excited to go see my niece (who is more a sister than a niece) in Dallas and then husband and I are supposed to be going to Iceland and Sweden for our wedding anniversary in October this year. It's a big one so we are trying to figure out what we can do.

and aurora’s so fucking happy to finally be able to watch an episode of something all the way through because you KNOW ant’s one of those people that skips parts and switches between shows when he gets bored

rain is actively trying not to punch them both because he’s just trying to have downtime away from all the noise and stimulus of the kitchen in the morning and now ant’s chewing loudly in his ear and rory’s making commentary on all the parts she finds interesting skhdhdjdksjd
