But here’s my main thing: I don’t have the fucking empathy to feel bad for people a lot, nor do I have the mental energy to try and convince myself that I do. And people constantly posting dumb shit on their blog like the phrase ‘negative posts’ evokes in my mind is practically begging for me to care. I do not, and probably will only care less for having to put up with it even momentarily. ( Mind you, I do not feel the same way about seeing the rare negative post or two; the whole context is entirely different for me. )

Ofc I kind of get it, screaming into the void can be genuinely helpful for some people -- but if I’m following you, I’m inclined to say it ain’t the platform for that bucko. Make a new blog. I’m debating whether or not to plop this in my rules or not, so in the meantime, I’ll say it here: I’m not overly interested in fully antagonistic threads. Okay but I mean since when can goofs not have critical opinions of things??? Bc I don’t wanna live in that world fam. And.... Yes. I try not to put too much emphasis on it bc he himself doesn’t pay his own strength to much mind. It’s there, sure, and he’ll use it in the blink of an eye, but? He’s not completely egotistical, so it’s sort of about the same as ‘yeah I can walk a mile in one sitting, what of it?’ to him. It’s?? Mundane. He lives with it 24/7, and it bleeds into every aspect of his life bc he was born with it and has only ever been learning to use it all.

But you know, much as I wasn’t going for sympathy, I feel like it’s certainly helpful in a villain like this. Most of the time, unless they’re really well done, the villains who have no humanity in them are.... Forgettable, I think. It’s the ones where you wonder about what separates you and them that really stick in your memory. The ones that you think ‘fuck... Had I just been pushed like ___ that could have been me.’ Ofc that’s sort of lacking ( and will always be lacking ) in a character like Seph, where his background is, thankfully, not a particularly widespread area of empathy, BUT.
