I had fun with this! I have no idea where these people in my head come from, but this is Earl! Earl lives in Balltown, Iowa [one of the smallest towns in the USA] and has a master's degree in Urban & Regional Planning. Even though Earl had the highest grade point average in his graduating class, Balltown's small size [population of 79] doesn't have the need, or the resources, for a town planner. So Earl, instead, works full time at Breitbach's Country Diner, which was established in 1852, making it the oldest bar and restaurant in the whole state of Iowa. When Earl isn't at the restaurant, you can find him riding his bike along the Dubuque-1 Bike Route, which is one of the most scenic bike routes in the midwest! I certainly enjoyed this latest drawing challenge from @glanzgraphics ! Meet Henry #8. You might remember his famous great-grandfather, Henry #1. He was famous for his role as the "Tin Man" in the Wizard of Oz. It was actually that movie that prompted the "Acme Company of Tin Man and Robot Makers" to perfect a "heart" for every one of their creations. The hearts kept getting stronger and more realistic over the years. Henry #8 was created with such a perfect heart he actually has real feelings and has grown to love frogs, nature and hiking. His traveling companion is his beloved frog "Napoleon" that does a great job keeping Henry aware of the weather and alerts him by croaking loudly if rain is in the area. Henry created a "cave map" that he keeps in his backpack, so he knows exactly where to go when the rain starts.
