The Ōtsutsuki Academy is a private school for the elite with a long waiting list (helps when your cousin/aunt is with the headmaster). They expect academic excellence from their students and little Mugen would attend it once he starts his academic career 🖤

Kakashi seems kinda serious in the Tattoo Shop AU. Got any silly Kakashi headcanons?

For the Tsau? He is rather silly in his own way

Gave a speech at Minato and Kushina’s wedding thanking Kushina for saying yes so Minato could finally shut up about her 👍

He wears custom socks with their dogs faces and crocs most days

Nuzzles Rin and Obito over kisses on purpose to make them lower their guard for an actual kiss. They never know when it’s coming and that’s fun for him

Bought a shirt that says ‘sugar baby’ to wear on dates with Obito because he thought he wouldn’t actually do it to goes perfectly with his crocs and socks

Tells Sai harmless misinformation because he takes things so seriously and Kakashi gets a goof laugh out of hearing the kid repeat it

Had a intervention with Naruto/the shop; asked people to raise their hands if they haven’t fucked Naruto. He wasn’t surprised by the outcome 💀

Has a few paper fortune tellers in his desk for when Yamato is being indecisive, anxious, or wants date ideas w/ Genma. Yams says he’s too old for that but let’s Kakashi do it every time

Has worn the wigs that Sakura leaves in the shop just cause

Intentionally refers flirtatious clients to Sasuke and states he’s single. every. TIME.

Does the same to his father. “He’s single.” “Kakashi” “loves walks” “KAKASHI!!” This man will list every single person he knows if someone tries to flirt with him.

Leash dad that also dresses the kids up as dogs for walks. He thinks it’s funny and cute, plus the kids have a lot of fun doing it/don’t complain about their leashes when they’re dressed up too

Will howl to get the dogs howling. 9/10 if the dogs are howling, he started it

Makes Tako sausages for the kids lunches and gets really happy when Rin makes one for his lunch too.

Participates in Ryu’s dojo, which means he’s also having to demonstrate things with Gai

Not so silly; but can’t actually mimic most singers and has a wide octave range, so has helped Chiha rehearse singing the female vocals with ease. He’s also told her she can’t tell anyone if she wants him to keep helping her.

Can’t pass on purchasing books with outlandish titles so his bookshelf is full of the most random stories

Gives Gaara dog stickers anytime they meet. He noticed Gaara smile the first time he gave him one and it’s become a thing now (Gaara isn’t even sure why it’s happening, but he keeps them)

Is in a small competition with Tsunade over the scones at the local bakery. It’s usually with him or her getting the last one because of their schedules

Thankfully, the Uchiha behave themselves when they come to his shop, but he does have a kids chair for Shisui sense he won’t stop hanging out in the shop whenever he feels like. Has his name on it and everything

Enthusiastically participates in the floor is lava. Has pushed Obito, Chiha, Naruto, Minato, Kushina, Yamato, Genma, Sakura, Sai, Ino, and apologetically placed Rin into the “Lava” in order to win

Also refuses to lose in twister, zero shame or embarrassment. He’s honestly a big kid when it comes to games 💀

What is Michi like as a parent?

Michi is very gentle natured, that wouldn’t change much as a parent

She would have baby in her room for convenience for feedings and she just wants him there. So no point in a nursery for the first year

Co-sleeps. She tries not to do it too often because it’s not the safest thing when he’s so little. But he does have a travel bassinet she can place him in on the bed

Does more baby wearing than putting him in a stroller. The only time he’s in a stroller is if she’s jogging

Calls Madara for advice if Mugen is being particularly fussy because he’s strangely knows a lot of baby things

She believes “it takes a village”, so she’d make sure everyone in their lives is familiar with Mugen and he respects them.

Sets up times to visit all four grandparents

Never expects him to be perfect but ask that he always tries his best

Doesn’t correct people when they think he’s a girl. She doesn’t care what others think, he looks cute

Does yoga with him

Cuddles and hugs him a lot

Tells him his beauty mark on his forehead is an angel kiss from grandfather Hizashi while the one on his mouth was to remind him to use his voice in life.

Let’s him run around barefoot and self dressed despite disapproval from some of the older Hyuga. “He’s a little kid. lighten up.”

Very enthusiastic about the horrid little kid drawings he makes for her

Brings Mugen to visit Neji, Hinata, and Hanabi

Also takes him to parks regularly for fresh air and wild life

Has some issues speaking up for herself, but tries hard to be heard for Mugen’s sake.

Definitely has a bag filled with everything from snacks to bandaids and more. She doesn’t want to be unprepared for things.

As he grows she’d mark his height on a doorframe sort of forced Tenten, Neji, and Lee (and the rest of Neji’s men) to get measured too so Mugen can see how tall everyone is and muses with him how tall he’ll be one day

She’s signing him up for jui-jitsu at an early age because learning martial arts gave her a lot more confidence and it’s a good form of self discipline/defense

Tells him to respect his elders but, they should be be respectful him too. It goes both ways

Encourages him to be nice to his classmates and friends

She’d teach him how to skateboard with Chiha and Tenten. This is their little secret because grandfather Hiashi might actually have a heart attack

Also let him work out with Lee and Neji

Plays restaurant with him and thinks it’s so cute how he tries so hard to be a waiter and gets huff if she or anyone else says something about their “order”

Once he starts at the academy, she’ll cry. HE’S JUST A BABY (he’s literally 4)

Also crying happily at all his accomplishments

Preteen - teen would be hard on her. Not because he’s a bad kid, he’d be a very respectable young man, he’s just really not a baby anymore and very independent. He also is a genius and would end up graduating early. Sending her young teen to college wasn’t on her bingo card 🥲

Still makes him his lunches and ruffles his hair.

Probably does that embarrassing face cleaning thing some moms do still

Definitely the “who’s your friend?” “You should ask them out!😃” mom if she sees he’s expressing interest in anyone.

What was mikoto backstory how did she meet fugaku?

They met in elementary as neither of them could stay out of the principal’s office for misbehaving

Mikoto’s family just happened to be better off and she was given the benefit of the doubt, whereas Fugaku wasn’t. That’s what kicked off their “rivalry”/made Fugaku want to give her a hard time which really only got him beat up by a girl💀

I saw the art of Madara with baby Tsunade, and it's so cute!! You are cool! I'm now interested in reading about the possible almost familial interactions between Tsunade and Madara (and possibly the other Uchiha as well, but that's entirely up to you) in this au, if you have time to write it. Would Tsuna wish Madara a happy Father's Day just to poke fun at the old man?

Madara and Tsunade have the oddest relationship in the TSAU, I love it. He’s like a guidance counselor, Disneyland dad, over protective big brother all rolled in one 😆

let’s review her Uchiha relationships

Madara

From the moment he found out Hashirama would be a father, he was supportive in only the way Madara can be; told him to get the fuck over the shock.

It’s not like he’d leave his dumbass to struggle alone with a baby. The kid would be doomed with just Hashirama and his stick in the mud brother.

Madara wasn’t at all shocked that the girl Hashirama knocked up skipped town after the baby’s birth, but he was shocked that she literally left the baby on Hashi’s doorstep. So he played fairy godfather and sold a few questionable things to help pay for some basic necessities for little Tsunade.

He did not want to hold her. Holding babies is scary and he didn’t feel suited for something so delicate. But he didn’t really have a choice when Hashirama plopped a pillow in his lap and Mito forced placed the ash blonde baby in his arms

Turns out he was a natural and Tsunade didn’t seem to mind him.. but she did have a massive blowout on him and he demanded Hashirama take his disgusting brat back

Once she wasn’t so new, Madara didn’t have a problem holding her for a minute or two and would sometimes just take her from Hashirama whenever he was looking too stressed

He’s the one that laughed about her toddler self fighting the other kids because he was the one that told her she could

While Mito and Hashirama were in college, he babysat her after daycare. often plopped her in his sidecar to go for a ride so she didn’t have to be bored indoors

He also is the one that freaked out when some little boy tried to kiss her on the playground and got into a shouting match with that kids father

Introduced his first born to her as her little cousin

Taught her how to haggle

Was absolutely disgusted when he found out she had a little boyfriend. She’s a kid, she doesn’t need a boyfriend she was 14 and if she’s dating, it should at least be an Uchiha so he can make sure the kid stays in line

Definitely chaperoned her dates or had one of his men do it and scared off at least 2 boys that way

Didn’t really care if she wanted to try his alcohol and laughed when she inevitably made a disgusted face over the taste of it. Stict with the sodas and fruity cocktails, kid.

Also never told on her when she did get in trouble. He’d just picked her up from the police station and told her she needs to either knock it off or get better at hiding it because she’s going to break Mito’s heart.

Tsunade calls him her ‘old man’, but she does give him a genuine call on Father’s Day

He’s got her graduation pictures with the rest of his children’s pictures on display in his living room

They catch up over drinks every third Thursday of the month at the lounge

He doesn’t want to here her bs about being tired of being single because they both know that is by choice. He stopped interfering with her dating life when she went off to college

He has however threatened every Uchiha within 20 years of her age that they better not fuck with her feelings

Obito

Tsunade rescued Obito from a girls beat down and teased him ruthlessly about getting stomped on by a bunch of pigtails

They get a long great and Tsunade was the cool big sister he was glad to have

She helped pop his dislocated shoulder back in and let him and let him hang out with her friends

She also threatened to knock some sense into him when it came to his fighting with Kakashi

He called her about every concern involving Ryu the first 3 months of her life even though he can afford private medical care for their baby

They have gambling nights with Hashirama and both still owe him money he’s not going to collect from them, but it’s funny seeing them still pout like they did when they were kids and losing

Any family get togethers and these two are drinking and burning food in the kitchen while swearing they’ve got it under control

Has leaned to dodge her laughing fits that usually include swatting at him

Shisui

She isn’t the most comfortable alone with him as he told her he doesn’t see her as his family and that paired with his flirtatious ways just has her on guard

Doesn’t help that he’s broken into her apartment to be stitched up at 3am

But she knows if she ever has a problem with someone, he’ll fix it. She just chooses not to owe him any favors ever.

Shisui sees her a invaluable asset to the uchiha. It’s not every day you find a doc you can pay off to look the other way and knows what loyalty means

So he chooses to keep a friendly relationship

Izuna

He didn’t like her at first

She’s some other guy’s problem, so why Madara would be carrying her around like she was his was beyond him

He eventually warmed up to the idea of her being around because she just wouldn’t leave him alone

He taught her how to do rude gestures from around the world for fun

He looks out for Tsunade and even donates anonymously to the clinic so she’ll have one less thing to worry about

He also paid her biological mother off to stay away years ago. When his informants told him she was inquiring about the child she abandoned

If she didn’t care enough to reach out until Tsunade’s father made something of himself, then she didn’t deserve to have access to her. At least that was his opinion

Only him and Tsunade know about that as he ask her if she wanted to meet this woman or if he should just sign the check

She’s the only other person his Palm cockatoo likes beside himself. So whenever Izuna out of town, she watches him

Itachi

She’s only had to treat Itachi a few times and each time he’s been a quiet guy

She knows he’s not the most trusting guy, but at least he’s respectful

She wouldn’t mind if he took over the Uchiha when Madara stepped down

Sasuke

He’s the biggest headache. He stresses her out so much

Order him to take bed rest? He’s back working BOTH jobs

She’s had to lug her medical kit to his apartment to stitch him back up

Sasuke semi avoids her because she treats him roughly (partially because he doesn’t like sitting for it)

When he’s not losing blood, they get along fine

He’ll even bring her a bottle of her favorite wine as an apology of sorts when he’s been particularly stubborn

She does try to give him life advice to solve his relationship problems, but she respects that it’s not easy to deviate from the path he was born into.

Bonus!! Madara’s daughters

Michi

Her little sister. They may not share any blood, but they share parents and that’s what matters

She’s amazed that Michi got a backbone and pulled a power move marrying the next Hyuga head

She finds her energy levels when she’s excited to be a bit exhausting, but still endearing

They often talk to each other about random things and have shopping/lunch dates

She almost choked when she figured out Michi was in some weird love square

Madara’s eldest

They’re best friends

They have no real boundaries, so they know ALL of each other’s business

The have a king standing horror movie night that they both bring food and alcohol to

They promised to be each others maid of honors when they eventually find someone

They often team up to beg for things from Madara

Middle daughter

She doesn’t really know her as she lives overseas with her father and keeps to herself

From the few holidays she’s been around her, she’s been kind to Tsunade and invited her to gamble with her and Shisui

Could you see Chiha being in relationship with deidara or sasori? Imo she’d make a great match with deidara personality wise and a nice match with sasori look wise

Chiha is a hard one to ship because her friend choices (mainly Shisui) and her general disinterest in dating atm/hookups

Deidara and Sasori would get an immediate Nope for arguing with each other the way they do ALL the time if she somehow met them. They should slice that sexual tension and just date each other.

Her romantic examples are:

I used west paces layout because this is pretty similar to how I see their (Sasuke’s) place

Over all vine is pretty modern and minimalistic because they literally can’t agree the shared space decor.

Sasuke’s room compliments the rest of the house, just a bit darker and with a great bed.

Naruto has an LED paradise, with lots of art work and a bed on the floor because he broke the bed frame and “it’s fine”. Merge these two and you’ll get an idea of his room

Sakura’s room is airy with pastels and has a few (a lot) of her favorite sakura themed figures on display on her bookshelf. She keeps some silicone body models she’s pierced as art.

Uchiha family tattoo shop au hc pls?

They pretty much run the side of the town where Kakashi’s shop is located.

They’re also known for paying off the police, drug kingpins, “pleasure dealers”, loan sharks, rigging fights, etc.. basically you name it, they have a hand in it one way or another.

They play nice with the Hyuga’s, but it general knowledge that their alliance is hanging on my a thread and a marriage.

Madara is their boss/leader and is perfectly fine with getting his hands dirty if he isn’t wining and dining his lovers. Even if he is, he’ll still take a rain check to handle business

He has a problem with viewing his children as an extension of himself and rarely as their own people, which leads to some uncomfortable situations for them

I.e. crashing the birth of KakaObiRin’s first child, using Shisui’s luxury apartment as a safe house, killing his first daughters fiancé for cheating on her, dropping in on Michi whenever he feels like it, etc..

Shisui is busy helping the helpless, pulling strings, and making a gory name for himself to be the next boss.

Itachi is the most straight laced of the bunch and his effective negotiations with the Hyuga and payroll of law enforcement also make him a potential candidate.

He owns quite a few popular night clubs too 💃

Sasuke’s a tattoo artist by day and hitman by night and doesn’t exactly report to anyone, but Madara. He’s not interested in lectures from Kakashi seeing as Kakashi’s fucking an Uchiha who STILL does favors for them

Fugako is a retired hitman. He also played a roll in setting up Tajima for Madara. He’s not proud of that, but he also didn’t want a war with the Hyuga as Itachi was still a baby and his family comes first, ALWAYS

Mikoto is a very wealthy housewife, but was once skilled spy for the Uchiha. She’s also one of Kushina’s best friends and knows her childern well/offered to pay for both the Uzumaki kid’s education.

Izuna is a drug lord and is constantly in Madara’s ear about what should happen with their enemies and expanding their territory. He’s merciless and would kill one of his own if he thought they were testing him.

The only reason he’s not aiming to lead the Uchiha is he doesn’t want to. He’s effectively his own boss, let Madara loss hair and sleep over the group. Izuna has his own path.

Michi is the princess of the Uchiha. Before her marriage to Neji, there were a lot of elders presenting their sons and daughters as possible suitors because the favor she has with her father. Even cold blooded Izuna favors her like she’s his own child.

Obito stays out of Uchiha business as much as he possibly can and only makes appearances when he absolutely has to. He got a break thanks to Shisui, but he’s not completely free of them.

On a lighter note, a lot of them think Kakashi’s name is ‘Bakashi’ because of Obito and will call him that

Unlike the Hyuga, their kids go to public schools as a way to be in the know and show how in control they truly are of their territory (no need to fear when you run it all)

the twins are very cute, I need headcanons of tenten being mom

Tenten used a marker on the bottom of their feet at the hospital to tell them apart and later nail polish

She actually caught on to their personality differences quicker than everyone else

Definitely the protective mom. She doesn’t let Neji’s men (outside of Lee) or Madara be around them.

Was super worried about leaving them at home for her first night out after having her daughters. She knew they were in good hands but, her babies 🥺

Would make sure to buy them something while out

Loves them dearly, but it creeps her out a little when they talk in unison

She’s pretty hands on with them and often takes them to the parks she used to go to as a kid

Wants them to learn martial arts for safety, but her oldest twin doesn’t show any interest and gives Gai Sensei a hard time at their lessons unless Mugen is there.

She’d go all out for their Halloween costumes. People expect her to dress them up cute, but they have a monster theme going

She’s fine a active wear and old clothes as a mom and doesn’t necessarily dress up unless she has to she cleans up really well and the kids love seeing mama look like a princess

Doesn’t care if the twins get into the prestigious academy and tells Neji they shouldn’t be judged so young. Especially because they’re not going to be held to the same expectations as their older brother

Cuts the crusts off their sandwiches and makes fun shapes

Reads them adventure stories for bedtime

Once they’re a bit older, she’s taking them to work with her to teach them about automotives

She’d have a hard time relating to her oldest as she’s hyperfeminine and uninterested in getting “dirty” (she doesn’t want to work and wants to wear frilly things/just be cute💀)

But wouldn’t stop trying to find common ground with her

It would be much easier with the youngest as she’s into sports and cars, just like her mom

Each year they got older, Tenten would ensure that their aware that they have a choice they don’t have to follow their brother and father

No matter how different the girls may act, they love playing a good prank on mom (and dad). So tenten will learn to watch for signs

Takes time to personally teach them how to play soccer

She will have kept every bad school art project they’ve made

Obito has had the same hairstyle and semi different lengths since I gave it to him for the AU. I dare say his is the most consistent out of all of them in the TSAU 😆

Hinata has a white brand of sacrifice on the back of her neck

As for Sakura, she has tattoos all related to can things. The twelve sakura blossoms are a nod to the Konoha 11 + Sasuke (some just are not visible unless she’s completely nude)

And her Strength of a Hundred Seal jutsu + it’s activation

Which is another half sleeve on her right arm and full hip to ankle piece on her right leg.

And this itty bitty 7, which all of team 7 have somewhere on themselves

They have an emotional attachment and respect for each other now, but they didn’t marry out of love.

On the surface, they function. Dip a little deeper and they have some conflicting interests 😅

Neji cares about Michi as his partner. He needs her and he wants to ensure that she’s content with life.

Neji has undecided feelings for Tenten, but a deeper connection to her than most.

Neji can’t get rid of Lee. He’s tried, they’re good friends now and he worries for him sometimes.
