I saw the art of Madara with baby Tsunade, and it's so cute!! You are cool! I'm now interested in reading about the possible almost familial interactions between Tsunade and Madara (and possibly the other Uchiha as well, but that's entirely up to you) in this au, if you have time to write it. Would Tsuna wish Madara a happy Father's Day just to poke fun at the old man?

Madara and Tsunade have the oddest relationship in the TSAU, I love it. He’s like a guidance counselor, Disneyland dad, over protective big brother all rolled in one 😆

let’s review her Uchiha relationships

Madara

From the moment he found out Hashirama would be a father, he was supportive in only the way Madara can be; told him to get the fuck over the shock.

It’s not like he’d leave his dumbass to struggle alone with a baby. The kid would be doomed with just Hashirama and his stick in the mud brother.

Madara wasn’t at all shocked that the girl Hashirama knocked up skipped town after the baby’s birth, but he was shocked that she literally left the baby on Hashi’s doorstep. So he played fairy godfather and sold a few questionable things to help pay for some basic necessities for little Tsunade.

He did not want to hold her. Holding babies is scary and he didn’t feel suited for something so delicate. But he didn’t really have a choice when Hashirama plopped a pillow in his lap and Mito forced placed the ash blonde baby in his arms

Turns out he was a natural and Tsunade didn’t seem to mind him.. but she did have a massive blowout on him and he demanded Hashirama take his disgusting brat back

Once she wasn’t so new, Madara didn’t have a problem holding her for a minute or two and would sometimes just take her from Hashirama whenever he was looking too stressed

He’s the one that laughed about her toddler self fighting the other kids because he was the one that told her she could

While Mito and Hashirama were in college, he babysat her after daycare. often plopped her in his sidecar to go for a ride so she didn’t have to be bored indoors

He also is the one that freaked out when some little boy tried to kiss her on the playground and got into a shouting match with that kids father

Introduced his first born to her as her little cousin

Taught her how to haggle

Was absolutely disgusted when he found out she had a little boyfriend. She’s a kid, she doesn’t need a boyfriend she was 14 and if she’s dating, it should at least be an Uchiha so he can make sure the kid stays in line

Definitely chaperoned her dates or had one of his men do it and scared off at least 2 boys that way

Didn’t really care if she wanted to try his alcohol and laughed when she inevitably made a disgusted face over the taste of it. Stict with the sodas and fruity cocktails, kid.

Also never told on her when she did get in trouble. He’d just picked her up from the police station and told her she needs to either knock it off or get better at hiding it because she’s going to break Mito’s heart.

Tsunade calls him her ‘old man’, but she does give him a genuine call on Father’s Day

He’s got her graduation pictures with the rest of his children’s pictures on display in his living room

They catch up over drinks every third Thursday of the month at the lounge

He doesn’t want to here her bs about being tired of being single because they both know that is by choice. He stopped interfering with her dating life when she went off to college

He has however threatened every Uchiha within 20 years of her age that they better not fuck with her feelings

Obito

Tsunade rescued Obito from a girls beat down and teased him ruthlessly about getting stomped on by a bunch of pigtails

They get a long great and Tsunade was the cool big sister he was glad to have

She helped pop his dislocated shoulder back in and let him and let him hang out with her friends

She also threatened to knock some sense into him when it came to his fighting with Kakashi

He called her about every concern involving Ryu the first 3 months of her life even though he can afford private medical care for their baby

They have gambling nights with Hashirama and both still owe him money he’s not going to collect from them, but it’s funny seeing them still pout like they did when they were kids and losing

Any family get togethers and these two are drinking and burning food in the kitchen while swearing they’ve got it under control

Has leaned to dodge her laughing fits that usually include swatting at him

Shisui

She isn’t the most comfortable alone with him as he told her he doesn’t see her as his family and that paired with his flirtatious ways just has her on guard

Doesn’t help that he’s broken into her apartment to be stitched up at 3am

But she knows if she ever has a problem with someone, he’ll fix it. She just chooses not to owe him any favors ever.

Shisui sees her a invaluable asset to the uchiha. It’s not every day you find a doc you can pay off to look the other way and knows what loyalty means

So he chooses to keep a friendly relationship

Izuna

He didn’t like her at first

She’s some other guy’s problem, so why Madara would be carrying her around like she was his was beyond him

He eventually warmed up to the idea of her being around because she just wouldn’t leave him alone

He taught her how to do rude gestures from around the world for fun

He looks out for Tsunade and even donates anonymously to the clinic so she’ll have one less thing to worry about

He also paid her biological mother off to stay away years ago. When his informants told him she was inquiring about the child she abandoned

If she didn’t care enough to reach out until Tsunade’s father made something of himself, then she didn’t deserve to have access to her. At least that was his opinion

Only him and Tsunade know about that as he ask her if she wanted to meet this woman or if he should just sign the check

She’s the only other person his Palm cockatoo likes beside himself. So whenever Izuna out of town, she watches him

Itachi

She’s only had to treat Itachi a few times and each time he’s been a quiet guy

She knows he’s not the most trusting guy, but at least he’s respectful

She wouldn’t mind if he took over the Uchiha when Madara stepped down

Sasuke

He’s the biggest headache. He stresses her out so much

Order him to take bed rest? He’s back working BOTH jobs

She’s had to lug her medical kit to his apartment to stitch him back up

Sasuke semi avoids her because she treats him roughly (partially because he doesn’t like sitting for it)

When he’s not losing blood, they get along fine

He’ll even bring her a bottle of her favorite wine as an apology of sorts when he’s been particularly stubborn

She does try to give him life advice to solve his relationship problems, but she respects that it’s not easy to deviate from the path he was born into.

Bonus!! Madara’s daughters

Michi

Her little sister. They may not share any blood, but they share parents and that’s what matters

She’s amazed that Michi got a backbone and pulled a power move marrying the next Hyuga head

She finds her energy levels when she’s excited to be a bit exhausting, but still endearing

They often talk to each other about random things and have shopping/lunch dates

She almost choked when she figured out Michi was in some weird love square

Madara’s eldest

They’re best friends

They have no real boundaries, so they know ALL of each other’s business

The have a king standing horror movie night that they both bring food and alcohol to

They promised to be each others maid of honors when they eventually find someone

They often team up to beg for things from Madara

Middle daughter

She doesn’t really know her as she lives overseas with her father and keeps to herself

From the few holidays she’s been around her, she’s been kind to Tsunade and invited her to gamble with her and Shisui

Uchiha family tattoo shop au hc pls?

They pretty much run the side of the town where Kakashi’s shop is located.

They’re also known for paying off the police, drug kingpins, “pleasure dealers”, loan sharks, rigging fights, etc.. basically you name it, they have a hand in it one way or another.

They play nice with the Hyuga’s, but it general knowledge that their alliance is hanging on my a thread and a marriage.

Madara is their boss/leader and is perfectly fine with getting his hands dirty if he isn’t wining and dining his lovers. Even if he is, he’ll still take a rain check to handle business

He has a problem with viewing his children as an extension of himself and rarely as their own people, which leads to some uncomfortable situations for them

I.e. crashing the birth of KakaObiRin’s first child, using Shisui’s luxury apartment as a safe house, killing his first daughters fiancé for cheating on her, dropping in on Michi whenever he feels like it, etc..

Shisui is busy helping the helpless, pulling strings, and making a gory name for himself to be the next boss.

Itachi is the most straight laced of the bunch and his effective negotiations with the Hyuga and payroll of law enforcement also make him a potential candidate.

He owns quite a few popular night clubs too 💃

Sasuke’s a tattoo artist by day and hitman by night and doesn’t exactly report to anyone, but Madara. He’s not interested in lectures from Kakashi seeing as Kakashi’s fucking an Uchiha who STILL does favors for them

Fugako is a retired hitman. He also played a roll in setting up Tajima for Madara. He’s not proud of that, but he also didn’t want a war with the Hyuga as Itachi was still a baby and his family comes first, ALWAYS

Mikoto is a very wealthy housewife, but was once skilled spy for the Uchiha. She’s also one of Kushina’s best friends and knows her childern well/offered to pay for both the Uzumaki kid’s education.

Izuna is a drug lord and is constantly in Madara’s ear about what should happen with their enemies and expanding their territory. He’s merciless and would kill one of his own if he thought they were testing him.

The only reason he’s not aiming to lead the Uchiha is he doesn’t want to. He’s effectively his own boss, let Madara loss hair and sleep over the group. Izuna has his own path.

Michi is the princess of the Uchiha. Before her marriage to Neji, there were a lot of elders presenting their sons and daughters as possible suitors because the favor she has with her father. Even cold blooded Izuna favors her like she’s his own child.

Obito stays out of Uchiha business as much as he possibly can and only makes appearances when he absolutely has to. He got a break thanks to Shisui, but he’s not completely free of them.

On a lighter note, a lot of them think Kakashi’s name is ‘Bakashi’ because of Obito and will call him that

Unlike the Hyuga, their kids go to public schools as a way to be in the know and show how in control they truly are of their territory (no need to fear when you run it all)

Itachi

Thinks Shisui found a perfect and dangerous match for his scheming. He also thinks she has no clue what she’s getting herself into.

Mikoto

Supports women in power positions but thinks she’s better of a housewife when it comes to the Uchiha. What’s her spoiled rich princess self going to do against real criminals? Sue them?? 💀

Fugaku

Well he can see why Shisui brought her home. Beautiful face, breast that sit pretty, nice butt. Yeah, that boy chose with his dick if you ask him. Or maybe Madara’s hard on cash and they wanted a live-in atm.

Sasuke

Eh. He’s met prettier, meaner, nicer, sneakier, and richer. He’s not impressed or worried about her in the slightest.

Eldest daughter

Thinks she pretty and probably knows some rich older men she can introduce her to~ also thinks she needs to work on her awkward attitude or she’ll probably get her ass kicked around here

Middle daughter

Kaguya is one of her other father’s investors. She’s a good business partner and Shisui better not screw things up for her and her father by leading Kaguya on.

Michi

Thinks she’s okay and has nice shoes

Izuna

Thinks she Shisui chosen broodmare. Also proof that everyone has their price (hers just happens to be his fluffy haired manipulative nephew).

What are the uchihas night clubs like

Depends on which one you go to and what night

The main bar and lounge the Uchiha meet at would lool like this; luxury and clean. They have live Jazz bands and singers (such as Chiha). Not just anyone is walking into this one, and that’s what Fugaku and Mikoto love about it. Owned by Izuna but it’s co-owner/manager is Itachi

Then you have the more party scene nightclubs that is extremely popular. It’s loud, lively, themes change, and you can definitely get your hands on some drugs here. Owned by Itachi

Shisui’s resort purchase came with a nice swim up bar and also host night parties and looks something like this. Madara typically pays for Mito’s girl trips here when he’s made her mad. Obito likes it here too because it’s family friendly lmao

The hostess club where Madara use to frequent and ended up becoming a dad would look something like this. It’s expensive and they’re selective over who gets in. Oddly enough, this is the easiest place to find Izuna as he works out of the back office here

Itachi has a 24 hour cat cafe too. It’s a very hushed thing and where you can find Sasuke. Not a club but they do offer VIP members special rooms with their preferred cat.

Izuna has proficient ears in the police department and assassins (such as Mikoto, Fugaku, and Sasuke) in his back pocket. He knows for a fact they’re more loyal to him than Madara and Shisui’s pockets aren’t deep enough to bring them to his side.

The only reason Shisui’s been allowed to play this far is because Izuna doesn’t see him moving against his family (he only can speculate what this mad dog is thinking) and Izuna himself doesn’t have an interest in running the Uchiha.

What were the uchiha gang in the school like? I have a feeling that Obito and shisui were one of the kids whose parents got called on almost daily because they like got into a fight as they should because they are uchihas.

Madara: he barely went unless Tajima dragged him there personally, until he met Hashirama in class. Then he started going regularly and causing problems for everyone.

Izuna: A bullying smartass with good grades because he couldn’t stand to look dumb. Was really really into chemistry.

Itachi: top of his class. Never caused a single problem and actually helped maintain order for the teachers.

Shisui: that one person that chats up every social group and not one student had anything bad to say about him. He just had a problem with bringing switchblades to school and backing up Obito in fights.

Obito: he ran a fight club for money, bring your bully and I’ll kick their ass for free. Average to below average grades and a complete class clown. Got in trouble for trying to copy Kakashi’s homework and tests.

Sasuke: always in fights because of anger issues and people thinking they can test him because he didn’t have a large number of Uchiha in school with him. Took every opportunity to snooze and still did better than Naruto in school.

Michi: second in her class. she was the quite girl that got bullied because people that she thought she was better than them. Spent her lunches in the infirmary reading and studying to avoid people that weren’t going to matter in a few short years.

Been smoking since he was 12 and doesn’t have any plans on quitting. The only difference is he smokes imported cigars now instead of begging for one off of his father’s lackeys

Definitely knew Madara wanted their father dead and did nothing to prevent it as their father didn’t approve of any of his own ideas

Ideas that turned him into a the faceless drug kingpin he is today. You name it, he can supply it. As long as the money is right.

Kagami was also a great asset he acquired later. His friend works for the police and has helped keep the important Uchiha out of prison

Outside of those three and Madara, no one has a clue what he actually does and see him as a business owner/Madara’s adviser

One upscale lounge and a hostess club are his claim to fame. Acquired through legitimate loans too

His hostess club is one of the easiest places to move his expensive products

He’s not even going to lie about how he scouts his hostesses. He uses the clinic to find young, healthy, and beautiful girls who preferably are down on their luck

He can buy their loyalty, their education, and house them. These types never fail to be perfect for this job

Because of how his eldest niece was conceived, he strong discourages them from hooking up with the clients

ik shisui was adopted by madara when he was 10, and izuna was kicking about then, but would izuna ever view shisui as closely as he does with say michi?

Izuna respects Shisui as a man, but doesn’t view him as family because he knows Shisui doesn’t view any of them as family or at least not as close family.

Izuna has the unique situation of truly knowing Shisui and his parents before their untimely deaths. The Shisui that stands before them now is much more cold and calculated than the sweet fluffy haired boy that use to try and be everyone’s genuine friend.

Now? He wouldn’t put it above that same fluffy haired boy to slaughter his own “family” if they stood in his way. He wouldn’t have even put it above him to use Michi had she not struck out on her own

fun fact: Izuna didn’t protest against Michi marrying the Hyuga boy and talked Madara into accepting it BECAUSE he didn’t trust Shisui not to manipulate her for his own benefit if she stayed.

So in one aspect, he applauds the kid for carving his own path and hardening himself for the Yakuza life. On the other, he knows a threat when he sees one.

Do the Uchiha Family in TSAU do charity ?

Shisui and Obito do. It’s very important to both of them.

Madara went to auctions for charity mostly to piss off/out bid Hiashi in the past, but it’s not like he actually cared about it or who it may benefit

Izuna’s charity work is cutting deals on drugs he expects to be repaid for or else someone will be minus a relative and also not killing that little liability named Nawaki 💀

Speaking of the maid natsu Hyuga potentially being in contact with the uchiha (being kiras hypothetical nanny) I was wondering if you could see her and izuna being somewhat involved with each other. I’ve been thinking of who could be a match for izuna and thought that the idea of him and the very kind, respectful and humble natsu being at least acquaintances would be really amusing- I imagine an encountering during times of conflict, when izuna decides to pop up at the Hyuga compound one day and the first person he sees would be natsu who’s absolutely horrified by him. He’s aware that she’s a low status Hyuga and that there’s no point of seriously harming her but him being the bully he is thought it would be amusing to terrify her some more before the Hyuga men would arrive. he’d threaten to take her hostage while also making some provocatively flirtatious comments about her appearance in her maid dress. Natsu being totally overwhelmed by this situation is feeling every emotion. 1) she’s never encountered an uchiha let alone one of the most powerful among them 2) she doesn’t know if he’ll kill her 3) no man has ever flirted with or looked at her like that who’d care bout a simple boring maid that does nothing but take care of chores in the Hyuga compound 90% of the time in this superficial and immoral environment 4) he’s so scary but attractive?!?!- she’s about to faint and izuna can tell but unfortunately for him the amusing teasing session has to end cause there comes the security and the actual business.

This encounter would mean nothing to izuna but natsu could not forget about this intimidating beautiful man and his shameless compliments. He brought some color into her rather monoton everyday life and he’s now her ‘dirty little’ secret fantasy but other than that she doesn’t really expect or hope to see him again if she’s being realistic.

Fast forward to when the two clans are no longer at war, the uchiha, including izuna, attend an event of the Hyuga where natsu serves the guests drinks and that’s when they’d run into each other again. Natsu immediately recognizes his handsome face and feels her body involuntarily reacting to him which izuna notices and that’s when he starts teasing her again, while she tries her best to be a reasonable lady like representative of her clan. At some point he follows her down a hallway, catching her off guard and makes a move on her, not because he’s into her but because he likes the thought of intimidating and dominating the/ a Hyuga plus she’s actually kinda cute and his ability to get these intense reactions out of her so easily really pushes his ego. Now that izuna is all over her, her fantasies have come to life and he’s officially her guilty pleasure which izuna is very aware of and of course he’ll use that to his advantage both erotically and strategically.

Is this entanglement a yay or nay to you?

Honestly, it’s Izuna. I genuinely don’t see shippable qualities in him in general in canon and given his tendency to belittle/look through people he perceives as low value in the TSAU, I’d say ship at your own risk.
