Alrighty! Guys, I think this went way better than anticipated. Only negative is...half stifles make my sneezes really...REALLY messy, lol. BUT! They sound pretty good, I think. Not going for anything too crazy, yknow?

Sunlight trickles over the windowsill and lounges across the floorboards, reaching just short of the main room. The serpent awaits her, seated in the open frame overlooking the forest below, green trees almost dwarfed by the height of the window they sit. Trees she had never managed to touch. And what was the point of this existence... if not to be consumed by every inch of this world. They have kept her locked up since the moment she opened her eyes, since the moment a decision - shortsighted and passion fueled - had them snatching the infant from her mother. Taking the role themself instead, and raising her as their own.  Unique abilities such as hers were never seen in shinobi history, eternal youth that could be used for their own, it had been too tempting for the viper to resist. But now she’s almost an adult, and they can see that the stimulation they can provide within these walls is limited at best. She will not be satisfied with the ninjutsu they taught her, she will not be satisfied with the books they offer, nor the research and activities they provide. It is not enough.

The chance of her falling in to the wrong hands (a great irony to think, perhaps, from someone who stole her),  was simply too high. The thought she may be killed, just like young Nawaki, a stifling possibility. She was safer here, locked away. But how many times had they watched their experiments, imprisoned in their labyrinth home, kill themselves to escape captivity? What if she idly wandered across to this very windowsill, and decided jumping was her only chance at tasting freedom? They hear her footsteps, alerting them to the fact she has woken up. The cloak draped around their figure tails behind them and tumbles off the half wall to the floor, with the hood falling back to uncover their face. They offer the girl a light smile - their daughter as they have grown to consider her. And having left out the small detail that they had stolen her from her actual mother, so too does she see them as her only family. Her real, biological one. A well devised lie she has never questioned, at least to their face. And maybe that is why they finally feel it safe to take the brave step outside with her, that they think she will never run now, that the child is as attached to them as they are her. “Get dressed dear,” they tell the young woman calmly, as they look back down to the forest surrounding the area, “today, I want to show you the world beyond this window.”

2 Billion Light-Years of Solitude - Japanese Poetry translation/breakdown

人類は小さな球の上で

人類 (Jinrui) - Mankind

球 (Tama) - Sphere (Irregular Kanji usage of 玉); might also be read as Kyuu as a Kunyomi that’s by itself; I kind of actually lean towards Kyuu here because of how the word 地球 is used next stanza. If any Japanese Native Speakers have the right idea of how it works, let me know!

Human beings on our small sphere

眠り起きそして働き

眠り起き (Nemuri Oki) - Contrast of 2 opposite things put next to each other; Sleeping and Waking up

Sleep, waken, and then work, and

ときどき火星に仲間を欲しがったりする

火星 (Kasei) - Mars

欲しがったり (Hoshigattari) - Sometimes, if you have to make a guess about whether an adjective is true (if it’s subjective), you drop い and change it to がる, making it a verb

sometimes wish for friends on Mars.

火星人は小さな球の上で

Martians, on (their) small sphere

何をしてるか　僕は知らない

I don’t know what what they’re doing 

A more natural translation might change these 2 lines to “I don’t know what Martians are doing on their small sphere”

（或いは　ネリリし　キルルし　ハララしているか）

ネリリ、キルル、ハララ (Neriri, Kiruru, Harara) - Nonsense words that sound vaguely like the words used in the last Stanza

Or maybe, they’re Sleesling, Wakayking, and Warkarking? 

しかしときどき地球に仲間を欲しがったりする

地球 (Chikyuu) - Earth

However; sometimes, they want friends on earth

それはまったくたしかなことだ

That much is completely certain

万有引力とは

万有引力 (Banyuuinryoku) - Universal Gravitation (literally ‘The Gravity of all things’)

とは (Towa) - A fairly formal particle used in books and the like to define something

Universal Gravitation is defined as

ひき合う孤独の力である

ひき合う (Hikiau) - A Compound Verb made from 引く and 合う; To Pull Together (with their own power; not someone else’s)

孤独 (Kodoku) - Isolation; Solitary (Usually used as an Adjective in my experience, but here it’s being used like a Noun)

である (De aru) - A bookish form of だ・です; matches w/ the usage of とは to make the Stanza almost sound like it was pulled out of a Textbook

The power of solitary bodies to pull each other together

宇宙はひずんでいる

ひずんでいる (Hizundeiru) - to be distorted (ひずむ literally means ‘To Distort’; this is saying that the universe is currently distorted, whether as an actual process, or just somewhere along the way of being distorted)

The Universe (Space) is distorted

それ故みんなはまとめ合う

それ故 (Sore Yue) - Because of that; therefore

まとめ合う (Matomeau) - A Compound Verb made from まとめる and 合う; To seek each other, want each other

Because of this, everyone seeks each other out

宇宙はどんどん膨らんでゆく

どんどん (Dondon); Rapidly, Feverishly; Note that this is an Onomatopoeia for the noise a Drum makes

膨らんでゆく (Fukurande Yuku) - Continues to Expand; ゆくis a literary form of いく, used in Poetry and in Songs

The Universe is feverishly expanding

それ故みんなは不安である

不安 (Fuan) - Uneasy, Anxious

である (De Aru) - I already made a note on this, but I want to point out that in this stanza (and, probably, the last stanza as well) the Textbook style language is still being used

Because of this, everyone rests uneasily. 

二十億光年の孤独に

二十億 (Ni Juu Oku) - In my experience, schools (and, thus, textbooks) usually only teach numbers up through 万 in Japanese. 億 is the next step up, with  一億　equaling 100,000,000 (100 Million). Thus, 二十億 is equal to 2 Billion.

光年 (Kounen) - Lightyear(s)

In the isolation of 2 Billion Lightyears

This is actually a really hard line to translate, cause に seems to have more nuance than just “In” here. A more poetic translation than mine uses “With the chill of 2 billion lightyears of isolation”, but there’s no word to actually suggest “Chill”. Just note that it means that the author is thinking deeply about the Isolation implied by 2 Billion Lightyears of separation

僕は思わずくしゃみをした

くしゃみ (Kushami) - Sneeze

I suddenly sneezed

I GOT TAGGED IN A THING YAY~

@kotyonoksnz wants me to list 5 things I like about myself and then tag other peeps at the end, so here we go :D

1. I actually like my art when it’s finished.  I know I have a lot to learn still and I can see many places where I can improve, but I still really like my own art and am proud of it.

2. I like that I’m not afraid to make deep connections with others.  There are so many things that I have gone through that would have made sense for me to not trust others ever again, but I’ve worked hard to not do that.

3. I am strong and have worked so hard not to be held back in life by my traumatic experiences.

4. I’m a mostly happy and fun loving person!  Even though I do get scared of my future sometimes and don’t really know exactly where I’m going, I still got out of my depression and am happier than I’ve ever been.  (I had situational depression, not clinical please don’t confuse them I know the difference)

5. I like that I’m a 2nd degree black belt in Hapkido after 13 years of training and I instructed classes for 4 of those years.  Now whenever some basic bitch tells me she could kick my ass I just smile :D (fuck w/ me)

I tag @nosetouch and @kawaii-kushami, if you haven’t already done it.  It’s healthy to look at the things you like about yourself instead of being bombarded by all the negatives.

I honestly can't tell I'd these are getting better or worse, I think it's getting worse @_@ he needs to sound rougher but not too rough to where he sounds like B/akugo and I wanted to give a distinct snz? Like if you hear him in later audios you'll know it's K/irishima.

Idk man I'm gettin a little discouraged but I have multiple K/iri audios that I wanna do...!

I managed to finish recording the T/odobaku telephone wav (the snzy parts at least and B/aku’s lines) and I was still very sneezy so I decided to try and attempt some S/higgy sounding sneezes. Mostly clenched teeth, trying to make it sound as violent as possible cause he IS a violent and murderous precious boi <3 <3 <3  Critiques are welcome as well as advice! I’ll be doing that captured/tied up!S/higaraki wav when I get the Sick I!ida and T!elephone requests done!
