6. most hated song in your native language?I took ballroom dance classes for years as a teen and my dance teacher had a really weird thing for Jan Smit, de Toppers and Frans Bauer and the likes and I pretty much never want to hear a single song by any of them again. Also I never ever liked Marco Borsato and one time when I was a tiny teen I rekked him playing in some movie while in the popcorn line at a movie theater to a friend and this grown-ass man turned around as if I’d personally kicked his 10 dogs and violently inserted himself into the conversation to defend Marco’s honor so ever since I’m mildly worried this man will suddenly come out and knock me out if I hear another Marco Borsato song. 

7. three words from your native language that you like the most?Gratis/Uitverkoop, I mean, I’m Dutch. No I seriously like those old, nonsense-sounding swears you can’t explain to anyone non-Dutch, but that’s the next question. Or Dutch sayings that, when you start to translate them and really think about them, make zero sense. 

10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?I unironically LOVE terms like ‘klootviool’ (testicle violin), ‘kloothommel’ (testicle bumblebee), ‘achterlijke gladiool’ (dumbass gladiolus) or ‘droplul’ (licorice dick). Or how it’s entirely valid to call someone random shit like ‘zak patat’ (bag of fries) or ‘druif’ (grape) or something and everyone understands they just got rekked. Also ‘graftak’ (grave branch) for some reason. Old-time swears are generally the best too. 

15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?Mastermovies quotes holy shit!!!! That was my childhood (it explains so much about me) and shaped me in all the wrong ways. And decades later some friends and I will still shout quotes such as“Ooooh Fristi! Nou weiss ich wieder! Dat lekkere drankje dat jij wil hebben! Nee das alleen maar voor grotere jongetjes”, “mooie krans op zo’n lelijk wijf” or “zoooo, jij wilt tienduizend lenen? MAG NIET” at each other. 

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?Hey I 100% agree with us being cheap as shit, I mean, we actively celebrate getting big discounts more than whatever we actually bought. If anyone ever calls me a cheapskate I’ll be like “haha yeah so wanna hear about my shirt that cost like 5 euro???”. I find it hard to think of stereotypes I hate but when I was younger I found it exhausting that every time I talked to someone non-Dutch online the second they heard where I was from they would not stop screaming about weed. Now I just find it hilarious. On a very serious note I think Dutch people need to kick out their own “positive” stereotype about always being the most tolerant people on earth and do some deep hard self-evaluation though because we were progressive as fuck in some ways (but hardly all) and then sat on our ass thinking “wow damn we are tolerant as shit” and stopped moving forward much. We need to do better to EARN that stereotype if you ask me.

In een recent interview heeft Glauber Contessoto, de man die op 5 februari al zijn spaargeld (ongeveer $250.000) in Dogecoin ($DOGE) investeerde, gezegd dat hij gaat beginnen met investeren in Cardano ($ADA). Op 22 april vertelde de 33-jarige man, dat nadat hij op Reddit over de op meme gebaseerde cryptocurrency had geleerd, toen $DOGE rond de 4,5 cent handelde, rond de $250.000 in de populaire cryptocurrency investeerde. Verdienen met de Satoshi Trading Bot. Volgens een tweet die hij gisteren plaatste, zijn de andere cryptocurrencies waar Contessoto bullish op is voor de komende vijf jaar Ethereum, Bitcoin, en XRP.
