Flow of consciousness and the beast

Sometimes you start on a thought, then through a brambled twist and turn you get stuck on an idea that seems in no way connected but in your mind. Well, for some reason I was thinking about the recent movie les miserables this morning and in short order I was humming the opening tune to a Disney movie I havent seen in years, beauty and the beast (belles song). Now its stuck in my head. On a related note (only in the most mutated sense) what if beauty and the beast was a prequel for les miserables? Belle, so love struck with the now normalized prince, gets pregnant. But the prince goes back to his callus ways and throws her out. She changes her name to Fantine and moves to another part of france where no one knows her! I think I’ve stumbled onto something here….
