The Beach

I didn't liked "The Beach" too much. That kind of teenage drama is not for me. Too awkward.

It's weird in that bad way to watch them just dickin around on the beach and then crash a party and trying to act normal. Yeah, i know that's supposed to show us how they don't know how to behave normal and how sad that is, how awful their homes are, and we get to saw who and why they are like this, but idk, that form is not really working for me. At the end when Mai, Ty Lee, Zuko and Azula we're just screaming at each other who had worse it was better, but still kinda hmmm :/. But oh wow, is this Azula showing vulnerability for like, quarter of second?

Azula playing volleyball gave me war flashbacks from p.e. in school.

Why these creepy old twins are there? I don't want them! Make them go, make them goooOOOoooh not, you're not going to body shaming old ladies. Just let them partying and have fun! Yeah, you go you old creeps! 8D

The Avatar and the Firelord

So, avatar Roku did not screw up totally on his own by doing some stupid mistakes or by desisted necessary actions. Shit just happened more on less on it's own. He warned Sozin once and that was enough. And then volcano happened. Watcha gonna do against that?

Honestly, i was curious why this war even started. Because The Fire Nation attacked and apperantely that's all. If i remember correctly one of fire commander at one point said something about getting rid of lesser kind of bending? That sounds too ideological. But Sozin started all this mess because that's what emperors do with their empires - expand them. It's just politics.

...if i didn't know better i would thought that Roku and Sozin had a thing for each other _^_...

I really liked what they did with Katara and Toph characters and their relationship in this episode. Natural conflict that grwos from different experciencies in life and expectations on how this life is supposed to look like now. And Kataras plan to do something together with Toph instead of just apologizing? Nicely done.
