Hi, I’ve never requested fanfic before, let alone Mandela Catalogue, so this is my first request as a whole :)

Could I have headcannons of Mark Heathcliff asking and going to an end school dance with the reader? Like, the reader and Mark have been friends for a long time but then when the time for the dance approaches he asks them to go?

You don’t have to make this, but I would like to know whether or not. I hope this isn’t very hard to make if so. I really like your reading style.

Ah yes, the "end-of-year highschool dance".

It's something Mark had been dreading for a while bc he was kinda worried about being the odd man out and not having a date (again).

Cesar instantly got several invitations (five, in fact), so he was stuck in the dilemma of who was gonna be the lucky one.

But he did encourage Mark to try asking you out, considering you've all been friends for a long time.

You and him were closer, though.

He wasn't sure if you already had a date and didn't wanna set himself up for disappointment.

This school year's been kinda rough, so he just prays that god gives him a break and doesn't make him sit through another dance alone in the corner, drinking tasteless fruit punch.

As the time approaches, he finally has the guts to ask you out.

Only to see someone already there, walking towards you. He doesn't know their intentions at all but refuses to lose his chance.

So he rushes in front of them and basically blurts out "[y/n]? School dance? Tomorrow night???"

He forgor what he rehearsed beforehand.

It turns out, that person was asking you something completely unrelated to the dance...and Mark's extremely embarrassed for overreacting.

But after all that's cleared up, you said yes!

He didn't think he'd get this far, but he's happy!

When the night of the dance comes up, he picks you up wearing a tux similar to Cesar's (but it's dark grey with a blue bowtie), and of course he keeps his cross necklace with him.

He compliments your outfit, while he gets flustered when you gawk at his and say "wow, who is this handsome young man?? I swear I've only ever seen him in hoodies".

He's blushing the whole car ride there.

You both end up having a great time! He's not the best dancer (considering it's his first time actually participating in a school dance), so it's mostly you leading the way.

The most intimate thing Mark did was put his head on your shoulder when the slow songs play.

That's it, but it's a start.

He does snack/drink runs so you could rest if you're tired.

Other students are doing double-takes when he walks by, staring and whispering "no freaking way is that Heathcliff???", completely baffled he has a date and looks charming.

Cesar meets up with him and is like "aw you've grown up so fast, bud" with the biggest grin on his face.

He's proud of him fr for making the first move (but ofc Mark's never gonna tell him how it actually went).

Need to yell about Haachama since I've started rotating her in my brain again. Her music fucking slaps. She has eaten spiders multiple times. Her cooking could probably kill a man. Her horror series/lore emotionally devastated me. She somehow managed to foreshadow said lore by covering Echo even though she hadn't even started planning it at that point. I've been a fan of her so long that "Haachama chama~" has become a vocal stim that I just constantly chant. She hosted a fansong contest that led to some of the best songs I've ever heard being made based on her lore. Her persona for a good chunk of her career was revealed to be an entirely separate person who then got replaced by Haachama via some brain bullshit. She made Haato (the previously mentioned old persona) eat hair mixed with either spiders or cockroaches I forgor. She somehow thought that Frankensteining her body and Haato's head together would let them coexist and this isn't even the part where Haato actually died. The persona that hololive management gave her was literally just a generic tsundere anime girl who she then turned into this. Haato is just completely fucking gone even though the hololive website still lists her instead of Haachama. More vtubers should have fucked up lore like this I think.

okie dokie, first up: trevor!

favourite thing about them: uuh okay so basically everything but to pinpoint something specific: his personality? peak. hes a DISASTER. kind of an asshole prick. and i love that! its so good because get this: trevor is, in a way, the Quintessential Belmont, hes the blueprint as far as chronological goes (ignoring leon because he kind of doesnt exactly fit the dracula-stabbing mold im afraid) and he sets mad shit up, he literally befriends the series Big Good. and yet hes still a jerk. hes obviously flawed. hes the blueprint for a bloodline of noble heroes and yet hes so obviously human! hes a guy! hes kind of a bastard, prone to a stupid mistake or two, and of course even then hes still very much a Good Guy. hes loyal, has a strong moral compass, is generally friendly when hes not being a total bitch... you get it

least favourite thing about them: netflix. other than that there is nothing wrong with him. except he deserves better tbh i mean hes kind of underrated? for being the mc of the best classicvania and as i said, Quintessential Belmont, as well as kind of just seeming like the kind of character fandom would latch onto, hes not really talked about much unless its netflix!trevor. on one hand im glad he gets left alone mostly, but on the other its kind of a shame :(

favourite line: "INCINERATE!" but actually, im really fond of all his really bitchy lines to hector. "For one that served under Dracula, you seem much too weak." and "Be that as it may, I am the one who shall vanquish him, your meddling is unwelcome. Leave him to me!" (note, i love how he just Keeps Going when he talks, my man cannot end a sentence or take a pause for the life of him)

brOTP: so that i dont repeat the same thing too much, lets go with hector & trevor! i think they could be good friends :>. julia too, trevor has no qualms about hanging with witches considering he married one (but trevor & grant have my whole heart im sorry)

OTP: trevor/grant/sypha/alucard :D but if i had to pick just one, then i guess it would be trevor/sypha, since. its canon

nOTP: iiii cant really think of one? other than the complete obvious. there are some ships i dont really vibe with but nothing i dislike enough to go full on "fuck no" for.

random headcanon: a version of the events from each casino type game trevor is in did happen, because the idea that he kicked draculas teeth in that many times is really funny. angela from the pachinko or whatever is his friend who he has literally never mentioned to anyone ever because he forgor :)

unpopular opinion: i dont really know whatd be unpopular? lmao

song i associate with them: Belmont the Legend, pretty obviously, but moreso than that: Beginning! i think it fits the vibe of "silly whacky group of friends who may be kissing go on a magical adventure to knock draculas shit sideways". as for actual songs, uh, ummm. WordGirl Love Live AU: More Info Updates!

Okay, frick it... I'm doing more UTAU covers. They're gonna take a while though, because 2 out of 9 voicebanks in the whole group are finished, those being Becky and Tobey. I'm currently working on Victoria's right now.

So... while we wait and the polls keep getting created, here's some other info:

- Duet and Solo covers will be made.

- Songs that have questionable themes and lyrics will either have their lyrics partially skipped or be completely avoided as a whole (now don't get me wrong, I still vibe with these songs, I'm just skipping them because the characters I'm making the voicebanks for are aged up to high schoolers, which are still minors). - The musical and Link! Like! Love Live! will not be included... I haven't gotten up to date with them X_X

give us a quick run down of your s/i!!

so i don't have a lot going on in terms of a proper tsp s/i bc the "main" timeline is the isekai one i've written about before but they're employee 104 (the fired one you see in the mind control facility lol) . not to make what would have undoubtedly be considered the closest thing tsp has to a mary sue but the mind control machine never quite had the same..."grip" on them as it did the other employees. it was still enough to keep them in line but they always had a sense that Something Isn't Right and they would find themself uncertain why they did certain things. they were fired because they ended up getting too close to 432 and management didn't want them mucking up the experiment.

they were still there when shit got real. or unreal, as the case may be. but the narrator missed them when he was deleting stanley's coworkers. because technically, they weren't one anymore.

they have memories prior to the parable of a crappy apartment with annoying (but not annoying enough for them to not feel like putting in a noise complaint would make them an asshole) neighbors. they're not sure how real those memories are anymore. if they are, they're starting to miss that place.

"underground" by cody fry! most heartbreakingly beautiful song about getting hit by a train known to man. although i take the lyrics more metaphorically in this case.

what is your s/i's profession?

whatever it is the parable company does. they were what the book "bullshit jobs" calls a "box-ticker".

what does your s/i have most in common with you? what's different about them?

the most they have in common with me is that they have an unexciting office job that occasionally asks them to say or do things they don't agree with and that ultimately they just want to live a quiet life (don't say what you're thinking). but they handled being fired better than i would have. i think if my job fired me i would completely break down. not because i believe in the company but because i really don't want to move back in with my parents.

if your s/i was an animal, what would they be?

a goose. not in a chaotic "untitled goose game" way (a little bit in that way), in a "how the fuck did you get here there are literally no bodies of water in a several mile radius" way

how did you get the idea for your s/i's backstory?

thought "man the mind control machine is powerful so this probably isn't likely to be canon but wouldn't it be fucked up if someone was kind to 432 and eventually got fired for it because they were mucking up the experiment"

data entry and a typing speed of a about 140 wpm

seriously though, they're really sneaky and have an easy time getting to places that the narrator thinks people can only get into if he allows them. like the memory zone and the other games from the games ending and what have you.

what is your s/i afraid of?

well right now they're afraid there's no way out. like it's great being reunited with their office crush but it's exhausting having to hide in the margins lest the omniscient voice controlling the whole thing get wise to them and delete them.

if you had to compare your s/i to an already existing fictional character, who would it be?

they're a little like dr coomer from hlvrai; like not his personality just his role. they've recently realized that the situation they're in isn't real, just real to them, and they're kind of fighting to keep it from breaking them so they overplay their silliness

has your s/i's story changed since you created them or has it stayed relatively the same?

im still kind of fleshing them out. they've been Just A Concept for quite a while.
