🍁 Favorite RP moment: Roleplaying her going absolutely fucking FERAL for the first time in her life at the gathering was so much fun- other than that, I got to do one Mule & Pony rp before he was murdered and it was just,,, sweet.

☁️ Alt Clan AU: CanyonClan Ponytrot. Fuckin imagine it. I think she, being as loyal as she is, would've had trouble seeing Sandstar for what he was sorta like Coyotejaw did, but when she finally did see it she was mortified and die everything she could to help get him out of power... and honestly? She probably wouldn't have hated Dusk. Certainly was the fondest of him... but still an ally of his in the big picture. Shit that'd be really interesting.

✨️ initial impressions: Bean, my dear friend, you're going to hate me. Maple feels like an e-boy and I will never not think that's the funniest shit. Plus the thing we joked about with the Russetlings making bets on whether or not he was just blind- like Squallspirit- or if he didn't have eyes at all. Dawn totally would've tried to lift his cat bangs when he thought Maple was sleeping to see and they sit up and he BOLTS because kittens are menaces

☘️ relationships with potential: ....I have never seen Mr. E-boy in action... I don't really know enough to have much of an opinion here

Railspur

🌸 fav dynamics: First off, Tawny & Rail. I love them as a mentor/apprentice duo. You can tell Tawny gets that stuffy awkwardness we saw between him and Honey from Rail lmao. What a lad. Also loved that scene when Rail & Pidge talked and tldr she's a socialist now /hj

🍃 alt rank au: Imagine Railspur.... as a cleric. Fuckin- Jayfeather acting motherfucker. Personality- exactly the same. But now you have to hear him ride your ass about being a dumbass whenever you get hurt- but of course, he's good at it because as much of an ass as he tends to be- he cares about his clanmates so much. If you can't tell I love this edition of CanyonClan: sad old veteran.

Now to answer the question- I would love to see Moss just... COMMIT so hard to some insane goal. Like trying to see "what StarClan really looks like without dying" she's a crazy swamp witch and I think she deserves to be able to (drugs TW for the rest of this) get high as hell and become Jeff Blim in Trail to Oregon. (Tried to find the "honey! I can see what dogs can hear" line as a gif but no luck so have this instead.)

🌸☁️Whispershriek – I feel like WhisperCrane is a given for fave relationship dynamics, so aside from that - I am very much attached to Whisper's friendship with Fernsky! Their threads together are always fun and entertaining, and I really like how they play off of each other! Also very very fond of Whisper being a bad influence on the youth lmao Jaypaw and/or Squirrelpaw hanging out with them is always a treat. As for alt Clan, Whisper's another one of those I have a tough time imagining in another Clan..... If things had worked out slightly differently I suppose they could've gone to CreekClan, though! I imagine he wouldn't have been super interested in the idea of "redemption" at first, probably just joined to be away from the fighting and the reminders, but the environment there could definitely have kickstarted him starting to care about things again sooner, and who knows, maybe he'd have found the more loose Clan structure in CreekClan kind of freeing once he got used to it.

🌈Hopfeather – I'd love to see Hop struggle with her beliefs vs. those of the cats around her and external pressures that challenge her views! She is probably my most StarClan-positive cat out of my cast, but I know a lot of folks have kind of lost faith since the Great Storm, and seeing her struggle to reconcile that against her personal feelings would be real neat I think. I'd like to see her get angry about it. Or angry in general. Girl deserves to snap a little bit.

✨☀️Maplesweet – The olm of CanyonClan....... Maple is beloved. My first impression of him I think is skewed by the fact that I poke fun at him with that long string of titles all the time, but I genuinely just think he's a fun and funky little dude. Really eager to see more of his friendship dynamic with Wolfmask and Splinterstep especially, but for new friendships, I'm not sure how we'd swing it seeing as Maple can't actually see Whisper's signs, but him and Whispershriek would be interesting just to have interact I think.

Assuming you meant ⚡️for the nine lives for Tarponshine – Obv they'd get one from mama Oyster, and I know the timeline doesn't match up at all but it'd be interesting to see them get lives from some of the cats they could be considered "responsible" for their deaths, like Mantisclaw or Anoleslip! Also lives from aunties Snapjaw and Swannose yes yes

🌈☁️Heath Blossom – Okay genuinely I would very much like Heath to encounter supernatural beings, I think it would be very interesting, especially depending on the kind of creature it was. Not exclusive to supernatural stuff, but I generally want to see Heath's quest for stories and knowledge kind of screw him over a little bit. Not super majorly, but enough that they find themself struggling with it. As for alternate Clan AU, I truly canNOT see Heath fitting in with TimberClan at all ajhgsd so Marrow Heath! Stories and songs are less a part of MarrowClan's culture but I think Heath could definitely still be himself in that setting, and them having more regular exposure to the supernatural and a unique understanding of the Gods would be really interesting to see how it would affect their artistic spirit/pursuits!

Asterfrost- Now that Aster's found peace & love I want to see him cut loose and have some fun! Especially once the Tumbleweeds are out of the nursery. Is he going to become a more permanent fixture in camp, or is the homebody life not for him? Will he still find ways to dad his kids like he does for Rocky? I wanna know!!! And I hope he enjoys it, whatever he does!

Earwig- I WANT TO SEE WIGGY INTERACT WITH THE STORMCLAN APPRENTICES SO MUCH, especially Peachpetal's family. They're all really hungry for approval from the adults in their life and I imagine they'd either bond...or it would become the most glorious bitchfest. Either way it would rock.

Alternate clan, hmm...ScaleClan Earwig, ESPECIALLY now with the Three C's (Cranepaw, Calamitypaw and Cedarpaw) wreckin' the joint in their chaos. I could see a hypothetical Earwigpaw maybe mentored to someone like Searingdawn, equally haughty and competitive. And he'd make an interesting rival to Cranepaw, since they have similar egos but in WILDLY different ways. Earwig's more on the "I know I'm good enough" while Cranepaw is more "Clearly I'm good enough...right? Right?" and I think that could make an interesting contrast.

Spice Wish- I wasn't around for a lot of Spice's interpersonal drama but I care him so much...I genuinely want to see Spice and Cloud maybe become a little detective gang together, they might have a really fun dynamic! I want Spice to worry about himself a little more though ;;

Tarponshine- I adore their dynamic with Sharkbite and I would love to see it explored more! I think their little friendship really solidified during Tarpon's tenure as leader, they really confided in her a lot. I just think they're honestly kinda tendy for each other even in a platonic way ;; I also and REACHING for Tarpon and Beetle interactions because I just think their dynamic has become FASCINATING. I want to really figure out how they feel about each other after the incident... Who do I ship them with? Drizzlepurr seems an obvious one, I mean childhood besties and all- but I would also entertain Sharkbite with how close they've gotten? But...hear me out...Hopfeather. I think the two are VERY similar people, deep down. They both strive to do good for TideClan, even if they don't really know how to approach it. They're also looking for connections, but kind of scared of what closeness means. I kind of want to see them maybe bond and get closer,,,,,,,,

Maplesweet- In a universe where Mothflame really did die, I feel like he would be an easy choice. Maybe something about putting the clan before yourself, especially the lives of the young and defenseless? Honestly lives for Maplesweet are a bit up in the air since most of the people he's really attached to are...still alive.

His ideal friendships are people who are proactive in getting him interacting with others, but also maybe helping him move past the need to shadow others all the time. It's why I think his friend group is really healthy for him- they're all really friendly and sweet cats, but they have enough life experience to be able to be maybe a bit more realistic with one another than the chaos of Pinkcloud's generation.

Heath Blossom- Druid!Heath would be very interesting! They're already kind of a spooky guy, but seeing them maybe become a sort of goth spiritual leader in the same vein as Mossgaze could be super fun! They join in the song of life, but always aware that a measure begins and ends. I think, much like canon!Heath, he'd just want to make sure whatever the verse is that he writes, it's meaningful and beautiful. I think dedicating his life to helping others would make a lower key Heath, though- more inclined to harmonize than write his own melody.

Outside the clan ships...Not a ship per se but I REALLY want to see him interact with Spirit Guide...I just think that would be interesting. I do think he and Copperstep would get into a LOT of antics together...I can just imagine the two of them in the corner of a Gathering chattering nonstop while the important stuff is happening because they love hearing what the other has to say! I just think that would be a really charming dynamic.

Maplesweet- CreekClan Maple would be really neat!!! I think in that AU he was probably a former kittypet who found the clans and decided to adopt them as his new owners xjjdjdjd Maybe he would've had a funney kittypet name. I could let people vote on which blorbo to name him after xhzhbxbxbx I also imagine that he might've gravitated to fellow former kittypets like Wildspirit, Jennyheart and Flakestorm!

Railspur- His talk with Pigeonpaw. I feel like that was the moment that Railspur really came into his own as a muse and I really got a strong concept of where I was going with him. IC it was a foundational moment for Pigeonpaw but OOC it kind of became a Railspur thesis statement. The way he expresses his grief as unfillable gaps, the way he internalizes the war as mistakes that he can never come back from but others can learn from & prevent in the future, just how much he cares about helping younger cats understand history beyond what one side or another tells you...So much of that really solidified in his talk with Pigeonpaw.

BUUUT a close second was his talk with Leopardpelt out in the north field. That's the one that inspired this piece and it was just such a nice moment between them. It was really silly at first but then it became kinda sad but kinda sweet. Internally I think that was the first time Railspur really looked at Leopardpelt and thought, 'This person understands me. I need to stay close to him.'

Humbly requesting ☁️ for Tawny and 🌈 for Maple and Velvet!

Tawny- Okay. Okay hear me out. I think Tawnyoak in CreekClan would be VERY interesting. Creek Tawnyoak with ex-Canyon family Pumadream style, specifically. I think about how that might have changed what happened in his family. Would Railspur be a more sinister figure, this uncle he barely knows that lives deep in the mountains? Would Mintleaf still be alive? Where would Stonewhisker factor into all this, would he still be around? Creek!Tawny is such a concept...

Maple- I ended up missing the ice skating and I don't think Maple would have ended up much liking that in the first place. HOWEVER what I DO think should happen is organizing snow forts. Maple can't navigate ice but he would absolutely know his way around tunnels. So maybe on a warmer day when the ice is sticky the olm and his friends should have another fun day!!!! I want Maple to HAVE to interact with people in ways other than just shadowing them. Stop worrying and start laughter & enjoi with your frens.

Velvet- I went over this before a little but I think Velvetfang needs to either improve a lot (by learning how to be more down-to-earth, probably with some help) or become even worse. I can't say the latter would be a very nice thing but it would be VERY interesting seeing her just think less and less of CanyonClan and cats in general...Velvetfang villain arc

I want him to know that he's a hero and beautiful and he has a winning smile and all of his friends are happy he's back. I mean not that anyone needed to tell him so, they wouldn't leave him alone when he was recovering ZDFVDFGSG

Favourite Relationships- Here for Rocktalon, here for Railspur! Maplesweet is pretty new, so I'm honestly still thinking on this but I have a much clearer idea for Velvet.

For Velvetfang it HAS to be her dynamic with Whispershriek I'm sorry. Their relationship and how it ended...I just have so many thoughts about it that I remember sending just PARAGRAPHS to Rev when we were discussing it. Velvetfang was really close with Orioletooth. Their relationship was open, but Velvetfang felt an especially strong bond with them. They were brave, funny, fiercely intelligent, and that was all really attractive to her. When Starlingstrike died, when Oriole became Whispershriek, Velvetfang thinks a part of him died too. Maybe not as once, maybe it curled up and wasted away, but the person she fell in love with was gone. This is a bit from her ref:

If you replace every twig in a nest, day by day, how long before it is no longer the same nest? Or more relevantly, how much did a cat have to change before they became a completely different entity? How much of Orioletooth was left? Did he cease to exist when Starlingstrike did, replaced by a stranger? Or had it been a slow painful death- a metamorphosis that purged him from that which was now Whispershriek? This little thought experiment of Velvetfang’s became a topic of obsession- and drove Whispershriek further from her. She looked at him with an almost superior scrutiny, as if she were watching an insect.

Eventually Whisper had had enough of her observations, her psychoanalyses. “I’m not the cat you knew anymore. Didn’t all your time staring and your little experiments or whatever already tell you that?” They didn't want her looking at them like a project. That was their breakup. Nothing grand or inflammatory. That was the end of it. Velvetfang is still kind of not over it. I think she's trying to cling to some hope that Orioletooth might still be there in some way, despite knowing they will never be together again. I think it scares her to realize that Whispershriek is unmistakably different, but he's still just him. So she's in denial about it and insists that there's a separation. Orioletooth is dead and Whispershriek is a spectre inhabiting their body. It has to be the case. Otherwise it's her fault that they left her.

Jaguarleap- He's shaking now, so full of barely contained rage. He doesn't even care if he's making any sense, his heart is racing so fast it feels like it will break through his chest any minute and his vision is blurry with tears. Some of that energy fizzles out and he stares Windclaw directly in the eye and says with certain clarity, "I'm glad I left. You aren't a leader worth following." The coldness in his tone matches his face as he turns around and stands beside his Clanmates, blocking Duskwatcher's body from view. "Look away, all of you. It's what you're good at. You don't deserve to set eyes on him for another second."

It's just one of those moments where while reading I was like YES JAG GET HER, KING!!!!! CanyonClan are fascinating characters but in that moment I was screaming for BLOOD!!!!!!!!

☀️ - Ohhh I'd love to see Mossypath befriend some of her age group, especially those with a contrasting vibe - like Velvetfang, Splinterstep, or even Patchpebble👀. I live for opposites-attract kinds of bonds! Also imagine....Mossy as an honorary girl gang member. It would be both disastrous and wonderful at the same time. Canyon aside, any friendships would likely be marred by the war, but I'd love for her to bond with others some more, maybe even being best gossip buds with dear ex Koiflower owo

🌺 - Mossypath was honored for her stealth, certainty, and kind heart!

🌈 - I want Wolfmask to really put themself out there! They already have found their ideal role as monarch, but, save for Hawthornberry and temporary nursery residents, they've been kind of a shut-in, likely due to cats they've gotten particularly close to [i.e. their father and Muleheart], the cat eventually died a horrible death. They think not making deep bonds with other cats beyond the role of caretaker will spare them the heartache of loss, but they only now are realizing they're alienating themself. I want them to learn how to enjoy themself and grow close to other cats again! Also, I want them to be able to confront their feelings about the other clans more, as lately their thoughts on CreekClan have been...tainted at best, and their view on BriarClan is always fluctuating.

☘️ - Oh my goodness.....Wolfmask and Hawktail confiding in each other about their BriarClan relationships and their disastrous [in two different ways] ends, and comforting each other....the grief, and the warmth that could blossom after these two quiet fellas express themselves....It doesn't even have to be romantic, any dynamic between the two would be fascinating. On a smaller level, them and Maplesweet. The two are both so anxious and awkward, I think they could understand each other perfectly due to their similar mindsets and communication skills/lack thereof. They seem the type to find comfort in silence together.

🍁 - oh my GOD the rp where Hawthornberry comforted Wolfmask after Mule's death....I cried both reading and writing it. I love bittersweet monarch hours
