We finally have translations for latest summaries of August and early September episodes! Check out below, translations courtesy of Dephender.
August 16th: NS033 - Who Wants to Trade Pokémon?
Satoshi and Go are visiting a "Pokémon Trade Event" being held at the Pokémon Center in Kuchiba City, where a they meet a Trainer named Koromi, who introduces herself as "the Bug Pokéqueen of Sinnoh". Koromi really wants a Kailios, but since Go doesn't want to give his own Kailios up, he decides to help her search for a wild one instead. Koromi attempts to lure out a Kailios using a specially made type of "Sweet Honey", but rather than a Kailios appearing, it's a...?!
(Yuka Miyata)
(Hiromasa Amano)
(Hidehiko Kadota)
(Yasushi Tanizawa)
(Masashi Hioki)
So there’s bit of Sinnoh involved in this episode, I kinda like how they’re mixing regions together! Makes the whole multi-region aspect feel more real! And I’m glad Gou isn’t keen on trading his own Kailios ;V;
August 23rd: NS034 - Saito, the Lone Warrior! The Otosupus Menace!!
Satoshi and Go are visiting the Fighting Dojo in Yamabuki City to find a new opponent for the Pokémon World Championships. Satoshi attempts to challenge the Karate Master who runs the dojo, but he turns out to currently be in the middle of a battle against another challenger. And when they go to watch this battle, they end up seeing the Karate Master lose! The challengers in question were the Fighting type Gym Leader from the Galar region, Saito, and her partner Pokémon Otosupus, and Satoshi challenges her to a battle.
(Atsuhiro Tomioka)
(Yūji Asada)
(Yūji Asada)
(Masaaki Iwane)
Animation Director 志村泉 (Izumi Shimura)
Saito as in Bea! It’s the golden trio staff, and one of my fav gen 8 ‘mon debuts! I am SO glad Saito gets to debut alongside Grapploct! That’s Otosupus btw :)
August 30th: PM2019 035 - I Got Pikachu!!
As Go watches Satoshi and Pikachu, he suddenly realizes he wants to get a Pikachu of his own! Sakuragi, the head of the Sakuragi Laboratories, tells him that there's an outbreak of Pikachu at a certain location, so he decides to immediately head there. When he arrives, he meets lots of Pikachu, including a very obliging female one. The Pikachu are trying to dig "Thunderstones" out of the rock face and use their power to evolve into Raichu... and then Satoshi's Pikachu starts to emit the light of evolution as well...?!
(Akemi Omode)
(Hiromasa Amano)
(Junya Koshiba)
(Hiromi Sakai)
Animation Director 武内啓 (Akira Takeuchi)
(Miki Nomura)
(Masaya Onishi)
Do not get fooled by the light of evolution on Satoshi’s Pikachu he’s not gonna evolve ever! It could be that Pikachu accidentally touches the stone, but remember, the show does have logic for the b button! Everyone remember Hikari/Dawn’s Pochama/Piplup? They could easily do a similar trick on Pikachu, him refusing to evolve and being able to deny it. I’ll look forward to seeing what they do. As long as they don’t replace Electroweb no one replace the best move I swear-
September 6th: NS036 - Crawl Out of the Sand Tomb, Satoshi and Go!
Ever since his battle against Saito, Satoshi has been performing poorly in official battles. Meanwhile, a strange, massive sandstorm has started blowing in Kinsetsu City in the Houen Region. This sandstorm supposedly lures people inside it with a beautiful song. Satoshi and Go head there to investigate and find out if this is the work of a yet to be discovered Pokémon, and as they go up against the mystery of the sandstorm, they eventually end up battling the powerful Pokémon Flygon. But as the Flygon uses its speed to toy with Satoshi, Go tries a surprising tactic.
(Michihiro Tsuchiya)
(Noriaki Saito)
(Shingo Tanabe)
Animation Director 新城真 (Makoto Shinjō)
(Yuki Masutani)
This kinda spoils the outcome on NS034, no? Satoshi is gonna lose to Saito it seems and will be on losing streak after it. Which I’ve been having in Sonic Forces Speed Battle, cough. This should be good for Satoshi and Gou’s friendship bond as well as Gou hasn’t seen Satoshi act not like himself before. Also, Flygon Flygon Satoshi better catch a Flygon-. KRHM. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Just glad we’re seeing Mauville City/Kinsetsu City again!
