Miracurse: Fowl Play is About
Ao3
Chloe’s wondrous day started when Adrien approached her and said, “I have a gift for you.”
She was over the moon to hear that.
Her dear Adrikins got her a gift!
Suck it, Marinette! Suck it, Adrien's fangirls!
He got HER a gift!
No one else!
This just proves that Chloe was his favorite, as she should be.
And as delighted as she was, when Adrien presented her with a blue peacock pin, Chloe faltered.
Adrien’s smile was expectant, looking happy, until she wasn’t taking it right away. “Do you not like it?” Adrien asked.
“No! No, it’s just… Do you have something in yellow?”
“Nope. Only this one.” After a moment of consideration, Adrien tried to appeal to her, offering, “It’ll go with your eyes.”
“Thanks, Adrien,” she said through her teeth, taking it reluctantly. It was semi worth it to see Adrien’s beam, but that offered smile she had fell when he turned and walked away, leaving her with the blue pin.
It didn’t have ANY yellow on it. Like, ok, yeah, maybe the blue would go with her eyes, but red gems on all nine feathers? Or where are those more… pink?
Chloe stuck her tongue out at it. Between the blue and the pink, this should be more Marinette’s thing? But as Adrien gifted this to Chloe, there was NO WAY Chloe was going to pass it off to another. Especially her! This was hers! Hers and hers alone!
But, she couldn’t be seen in public wearing this. This blue and pink against her yellow jacket? No way. Matching with her eyes wasn’t enough. This, she’ll humor Adrien and put it on at home. Try it there, and then it can sit in her closet and gather dust. Maybe she can give it to one of her and Adrien's future kids.
Satisfied with her plan, she stuffed it deep in her bag and headed for the first period. It was a shame she couldn’t go and shove this gift in Marinette’s face, but it is what it is. At least she got to enjoy the fact that Adrien was thinking of her.
.
.
.
In front of her mirror, Chloe hesitated.
She wasn’t wearing the pin yet, it was just held over her jacket, with Chloe doing a little double take just to see it against her jacket and to be sure. And gosh, it clashed with her so much. And the worse fact? No matter how long she looked at it, it matched with Marinette so much more and Chloe hated it.
The blue of the pin matched with her hair, when that dark hair would shine blue in certain lighting. And the gems on this pin were more pink! And it matched the pink of Marinette’s stupid pink pants! And those stupid pink flowers that she has on her shirt!
It was like a… reverse color coordination or whatever. Marinette did wear a lot more pink than blue, but it was undeniable that she did have those two colors as this pin did. It was almost like this pin had been made for her.
Did Adrien have this made?
Was he thinking of Marinette?
If it was more for her, why didn’t he have this pin be more yellow? Was it really intended for Marinette? Did she upset him so Chloe was getting this out of spite of her?
If so, Chloe didn’t know if she should be smug or irritated.
Irritation won, and just to be spiteful to the Marinette color coded pin, she put it on. Adrien gave it to her. She was the one wearing it now, not Marinette.
Only, as soon as the pin was in place, Chloe’s world seemed to turn on an axis and she felt dizzy and she felt disjointed. Shaking her head, she groaned as she grabbed her forehead. What had happened?
“Give it a few moments, you’ll get used to it,” Chloe heard her own voice say, startling her. She jerked up, looking up to see herself staring down at her with a gentle smile, though her eyes were pink instead of blue.
Chloe drew away in alarm, gaping. “Wha—  what?!”
Her body just smiled, watching Chloe freak out before her.
“Wha-what is this?!” Chloe demanded. “Who are you! Some cheap copycat!”
“Chloe” chuckled. “Oh no, this is actually your body. It’s as true as can be.”
“My body?!” Chloe shrieked. Chloe paused then. If this was her body and something was in her body, then what was she? Chloe whipped towards her mirror and gasped. She wasn’t herself. She was some freaky looking toy that looked a little familiar but Chloe couldn’t entirely place what.
But she was light blue, had dark blue eyes against a black sclera, had white marks around her eyes, a yellow diamond on her forehead, and five long peacock-like tail feathers that had yellow and white eyespots on them. She had no idea what she was and she didn’t like it. She was so small. So alien. And just so…. Blue.
Chloe rounded on the body stealer, demanding, “I don’t know what you are! But you’ll give my body back this instant!”
“Ah, I can’t do that,” “Chloe” said, shaking her head. “You see, you are under the miraculous curse.”
Chloe frowned at that. Miraculous? Like, Ladybug and Chat Noir? “Did they curse me?!” she demanded.
“No. I did.”
“How?! Why?!”
“I am Duusu, and is my miraculous,” the body stealer revealed, lightly tapping the pin, which was now a platinum peacock with a gold tail and white diamond eyespots. “When you put it on, I got to see how terrible a person you were, and the miraculous cursed you instantly. You are now stuck as a kwami while I reside in your body.”
“That’s unfair!” Chloe snarled. “This is an attack! How dare you!”
“This is punishment,” Duusu said. “You are a terrible person. You’ve hurt people for your own amusement and gain. This is why you were transformed immediately.”
“Ridiculous!” Chloe spat. “Change me back!”
“Only you can change yourself back,” Duusu said.
“How?!”
“Redeem yourself,” Duusu answered. “Make it up to those you’ve hurt the most.” Duusu then paused and frowned thoughtfully. “But that’s a lot of people. Not even I know where you’d start.”
Chloe stared at her, trying to sort out Duusu’s words. “What do you mean make it up to?”
“Help out who you’ve hurt. Make an effort to be better. You don’t even need forgiveness, you just need an effort to be better.”
Chloe scoffed, “I don’t need forgiveness! Everyone loves me!”
“Marinette doesn’t,” Duusu revealed.
“Marinette’s stupid! And poor!”
Duusu hummed. “She’s decently wealthy. You don’t live across Notre Dame or own a whole building on a poor budget.”
“How would you know that?” Chloe asked, narrowing her eyes at her body.
“I have your memories,” Duusu revealed, “it allows me to live your life and be a better you, until you improve anyway.”
Chloe gasped. “You wouldn’t! You can’t do that!”
“I am and I will,” Duusu said, immediately going for Chloe’s phone. “And I’m going to start with the mess that is you and Sabrina. You two have a very messed up relationship.”
“Don’t you dare mess up my slave!” Chloe cried out.
“See, that can’t fly anymore,” Duusu said, calling Sabrina. As Chloe moved to demand that she stop, a finger was pressed to her lips, silencing her. In a perfect Chloe fashion, Duusu said into the phone, “Hey, Sabrina. You got my homework sheet, right? Did you do it yet?”
“No,” Chloe breathed.
“Don’t work on it. Give it to me tomorrow. I want to do my own homework.”
“No!”
Duusu scoffed loudly. “No! This isn’t punishment, geez, get over yourself Sabrina. I just want to prove my own brilliance, I can do that much, can’t I?” Duusu paused, listening to Sabrina’s stammer, quick to flatter and promise. “I’m glad you see it my way. See you tomorrow.”
Duusu barely ended the call when Chloe shrieked, “You can’t make my body do homework! That’s peasant work!”
“It’s part of your current education system; does that mean you think yourself beneath an education? You do know that you need a good education if you want to get into politics and be the next mayor. You can’t always buy your way through school. And Sabrina won’t always be by your side.”
Duusu moved away from Chloe before the girl turned kwami could respond. Growling, she followed, snapping, “You can’t pretend to be me! You even have pink eyes! People will see straight through you!”
“Good thing you always wear sunglasses,” Duusu said, flashing her a grin as she brought them down.
“Bustier won’t allow it!”
“Bustier is your biggest enabler. She’ll allow it.”
Growling, she darted in front of Duusu’s face, tail feathers spread out angrily. “Fine! Who do I go to first to start helping them so I can get my body and life back?!”
Humming, Duusu answered, “I guess that’s who you hurt the most.”
“Fine. I’ll go to Sabrina.” She’ll help Chloe too. Maybe the key is getting that pin back.
“Hm. Not sure Sabrina is the right choice,” Duusu murmured, more to herself. “You have twisted things up a lot, but she doesn’t regard herself as being hurt by you too often.”
“Who would you recommend,” Chloe snapped, crossing her arms unhappily.
“Probably Marinette.”
“No!”
‘You were very close to breaking her. And that hurt has lingered despite her newfound courage. Mindful, yuo do have a whole class to choose from, but Marinette was your main target. She’d be the one you’d have to make it up to most.”
“No way am I ever going to help her!”
“Then pick one of your classmates, or help the city. You purposely upsetting people led to akumas, which did hurt the city.”
“How can I help the city like this?!” Chloe gestured to this tiny weirdo body.
Duusu just gave her a secretive smile. “I’m not under obligation to explain how a kwami body works and what comes with it. You’ll have to figure that out on your own. I’m just here to tell you why you’re punished and what you can do to get out of it.”
“How helpful,” Chloe grumbled.
“I always try to be!” Duusu chirped, her smile irritating Chloe all the more.
This was so unfair!
Utterly ridiculous!

Man, kwamis swapping with their masters' bodies would make Hawkmoth WAY easier to deal with.
It is. Like, it's not ideal as the cursed do still have their kwami's power and can still misuse it that way, but the kwami turned victim can't use it as easily.
And kwamis aren't so inclined to come forward about the cursed in order to give them a chance to change on their own.

Which ML Fic ideas are you actively working on right now? I know that Copycat is the most present one since you’re posting chapters, but you’ve mentioned a lot of cool ones in between asks here and there so I was just wondering which ones are catching your fancy to post after Copycat is completed. /gen
ML wise it's really only Copycat. If I got an idea, I'll jump onto a different project like Miracurse and Do You Believe in Magic, or one of the WIPs, but those aren't high priority writing wise and I would like to work on other things, for other fandoms and original works.
So, really Copycat is the only ML fic I'm really focused on. I got nothing else that is pulling me in as much.

Miracurse: Power in “Reach”
Ao3
When Adrien came home, he was a little wary, but hopeful. His father was calm, welcoming, and actually nice. Adrien was actually looking forward to coming home and seeing him. He was actually excited to spend time with his father.
It made him wonder, what could be the limits to this?
Were there any?
Could Adrien even go up and hug his dad? Was that allowed? Was that an option?
It was like a door was open and Adrien didn't know the boundaries of this new space. But for once, at home, he was ready to test them.
When he arrived home, he found his father actually waiting for him, and Adrien swiftly went in for a hug. His father didn't move immediately, but he wasn't stiff against him. He actually wrapped his arms back around him, holding him securely back. A warmth spread through Adrien, one he hasn't felt in a long time. He smiled into the embrace, holding his father tighter.
Gabriel allowed the hug to last for a few minutes before he withdrew, offering Adrien a warm smile. Adrien beamed back, feeling happy.
"Adrien? I have a favor to ask."
"Anything, Father," Adrien promised.
From inside his jacket, Gabriel brought out a blue pin. Adrien blinked. That was the one he saw earlier, in his father's safe.
"I'd like you to gift this to your friend, Chloe."
A question of why was on Adrien’s lips, but he held it back, accepting it. He had something good with his father, he wouldn't dare risk ruining it.
"I will," Adrien promised.
He doesn't know why, but Chloe would be happy with the gift… mostly. Shame it wasn't yellow.
.
.
.
Gabriel was furious. And overwhelmed.
Being a kwami was strange. He felt light and small, but also grandiose and present. And he felt everything. He could only clutch his head as he was bombarded by… he wasn't even sure. He thinks he was feeling the emotions of everyone in Paris!
Did Nooroo feel this all the time?
"Ah, so it has officially began to set in."
Gabriel whipped around, finding his body looming over him, holding a plate.
"What are you talking about?" Gabriel demanded.
"I am a kwami tied to emotions. And you are now in my form, you feel what I felt all the time."
"You don't seem overwhelmed!" Gabriel clutched his gear, growling.
"Because I was born to feel it all," Nooroo said simply. "I am change manifested, and nothing changes more than human emotion." He actually smiled. "I think it's what I love about humanity so much. You feel so much and you're capable of change. There's so much potential with you."
"Why am I overwhelmed then?!"
"Because you're a mortal human soul in a kwami form. Just because you have the body doesn't mean your essence will match it. You were meant to be born a human, after all."
"And yet, you put me in this state," Gabriel accused.
"You put yourself in that state," Nooroo said. "I did warn you there are consequences to miraculous misuse."
Nooroo set the plate down, revealing a mound of cinnamon rolls on it. Gabriel made a face at it. "What's this?"
"Food," Nooroo said. "Kwamis don't get hungry the same as humans."
"Why cinnamon rolls?"
"Because I love them. If you have food you'd rather eat, I can get that for you instead."
Gabriel crossed his arms, scowling at him.
“I guess I’ll just keep bringing you cinnamon rolls then.”
Gabriel growled in outrage. If only he was bigger! If only he was at his original size and height! He could show Nooroo a thing or two—
POOF.
Gabriel stumbled, suddenly taller, feeling more like… himself. He looked down at his hands, seeing human hands than the odd paw-flippers the kwamis had. And they were covered in gloves. He hurried to his window, coming to look into his reflection.
He was himself!
Hawk Moth has returned!
He let loose a maniacal laugh, turning to the calm Nooroo, finding his cane at his side and pulling the inside sword free. He pointed it at Nooroo, declaring, “Look what I’ve been able to do, Nooroo! I've regained my human form!"
"Congratulations."
Nooroo was so calm, like he wasn't surprised that Gabriel had done so. It was as if he expected it. Wary and frustrated, Gabriel opted not to be discouraged by Nooroo’s calm. He charged, sword pointed at his human body, snarling, "Give my body back!"
Nooroo easily avoided Gabriel’s lunge. Every swipe and every swing, Nooroo was in reach but always out and away. Try as he might, Gabriel couldn’t get anywhere!
“I am you,” Nooroo reminded, almost gently as he reached up to lightly tap the body’s head. “I’ll know your moves before you make them.”
Gabriel glanced at the swarm of butterflies still lingering around his room. “And what if I ruined you?” He didn’t have a holder, but he wasn’t a natural kwami either. What if he did create an akuma? What if he could use it? He was essentially Nooroo now.
He held out his hand, accepting the butterfly that came to settle in his palm. He covered it, giving his possessed body a twisted smile as he empowered it.
Nooroo still had that calm expression on him, not doing anything to stop Gabriel.
As soon as the butterfly was empowered, Gabriel had a second to feel a sense of victory—
POOF.
His world got smaller and he dropped like a rock to the ground. Above him, the empowered butterfly flew about, as if confused.
“W-what?” Gabriel uttered, feeling weak and drained.
“While you can use our power while in this form,” Nooroo explained, sticking a finger out and letting the butterfly rest on it, “you aren’t naturally born as a kwami. For you to use my power would be quite exhausting for you. You don’t have that same energy that I do.” Holding the infected butterfly up, he covered, allowing his feelings of calm and content wash over it. When he withdrew, it was back to being white, pure, and neutral.
“You…” Gabriel growled.
“You’ll be better with food,” Nooroo reassured, heading back to the elevator.
“Where are you going?!” Gabriel demanded, wobbling up to his feet.
“To live your life,” came the simple answer and the possessed body went down, leaving the furious kwami alone.

Miracurse: The Nooroo Effect
Previous
The waiting was the worst.
After a vague threat from his father, Adrien found himself alone in his room, feeling anxious over the unknown. What was his father going to do? What was his father going to say?
And it wasn’t something Adrien could easily fix.
He had no idea where the book went.
He had no idea what happened to it.
He didn’t even know what he can do with the directed blame. He had no way to fix this outside a verbal apology. He was officially stuck. He was grounded. His father was going to hold this over him and he--
A knock at the door interrupted his inner panic, and he jolted at the sound. “C-come in,” he called, standing up to face his fate.
He wouldn’t look his father in the eye as Gabriel approached him, not daring to meet the heavy stare set upon him.
“Adrien.”
He winced. “Father,” he mumbled.
“I’ve had time to calm down. And to think about this.”
Adrien braced himself.
“I will let this go,” Gabriel said, “but from hence forth, if you are curious or concerned, I’d rather you come to ask me.”
Adrien’s eyes shot open, and he looked up at his father in surprise. His father gazed back down neutrally, not responding to his son's clear shock.
Tentatively, Adrien asked, "So, you're not punishing me?"
"You regret your actions," Gabriel said with a small shrug. "There's no need to push things further."
"So, I'll still be able to go to school?"
"Yes."
"Thank you, Father!" Adrien rushed forward to hug his father, feeling him jump in surprise, then realized what he did and quickly withdrew, promising, "I'll try and find your book--"
"That isn't necessary."
Adrien paused, surprised. “R-really?”
“I wasn’t supposed to have that book anyway,” Gabriel said. "It’s for the better to not be here.” Before Adrien could ask more, Gabriel set a hand on Adrien’s shoulder, bidding, “Prepare for school. Your lunch period ended a while ago, didn’t it?”
Adrien jolted. “You’re right! I’ll-I’ll get ready right away! Uh, thank you father! I’ll uh, I’ll see you later?”
Gabriel actually offered him a smile. “Yes. For dinner.”
Adrien’s jaw went slack.
Gabriel turned and headed out, bidding before he left, “Have a good day at school, Adrien.” As the door closed behind him, Adrien was left gaping in awe.
In his stupor, he didn’t notice Plagg zipping out, quick to tail Gabriel in the hallway.
Gabriel didn’t get far as he stopped, greeting to the air, “It’s been a long time, Plagg. I wondered if you were here.”
“So Gabriel DID have you!” Plagg zipped up, looking over the kwami possessed human. “You finally had enough of him to allow this?”
“He was going to hurt his son out of sheer spite,” Gabriel revealed with a grimace, continuing on, motioning Plagg to follow. “What kwami would I be if I just allowed it?”
“Well, you could’ve allowed this to happen sooner,” Plagg said, only to pause when Gabriel gave him a look.
“What?”
“What about you and Adrien?” Gabriel asked, “The boy lacks empathy. And his pride is growing from his own desperation and loneliness. He’s not down a dark path yet, but if it continues--”
“Nothing drastic will happen,” Plagg dismissed. “Especially now that you got his body. I’ll take that brooch--”
“No,” Gabriel said.
“Nooroo.”
“It is dictated that the cursed are given a chance of redemption, but while they are cursed, their body can’t go unattended. Life must go on. I have a duty to live his life until he can properly live it himself.”
“Ok, ok. I’ll let the old man know then.”
“And when you go, let him know about Duusu.”
Plagg jolted. “Duusu IS here?”
“Damaged, but here.”
In Gabriel’s office, the kwami possessed human opened up his safe, picking up the peacock pin. “There is another soul here that is in need of redemption. I intend to use Duusu to nip that bud before she gets worse.”
“Eeeh, he’s not really going to like that,” Plagg warned.
“I’ll deal with it when I get there,” Gabriel assured, closing up the safe. “Return to your boy, he’s about to leave and he will wonder about you missing.”
“Alright,” Plagg withdrew, but paused enough to glance back Gabriel. “I hope you know what you’re doing. That’s a bit of a dangerous game.”
“I am one of the kwamis of chaos,” Gabriel said, “my actions will always be a bit dangerous.”

Miracurse: Revival
Previous
To break a miraculous is no easy feat.
As they were creations of miracles and salvation, to break one took momentous acts of maliciousness and selfishness, though the curse was set up to try and defend against that. But sometimes users can catch a kwami off guard and bypass that curse, leaving the miraculous to break in the wake of their actions.
Nooroo knew not what action Emilie Agreste had done, but it had left the Peafowl cracked, and drove her husband to desperation and ruthlessness. It was the worst sort of love any human could have for another, willing to throw away the well being of others for one.
But anything broken can be repaired. And for a miraculous, it took a great act of kindness or selflessness.
In his current state, it was something Gabriel couldn't give as there would be selfish undertones to his acts of benevolence.
But Nooroo had no such underhanded desires for Duusu. He wanted to see her better, and see if she would agree to his idea. So to fix her, he as a kwami offered her what was most important to him, especially given his life the past few months.
On Gabriel’s podium, he had the pin on the softest pillow he could find, a blanket around it, and he had flowers set around it, and now he was placing steaming, fresh cinnamon rolls around the flower heads.
He had no comfort, but gave her some.
He was denied flowers, and left in a cold dark room.
He was denied his favorite food, fed scraps from his master's table. It was enough to fill him for his power to be used, but Nooroo was never full or satisfied.
All of these things he was denied, he offered to Duusu before he could take this chance to enjoy them.
He had just set the last cinnamon roll down when the doorbell rang. He set the plate down, gave the pin a light touch, offering a silent promise to be back, and went to the door.
He was mildly surprised to see Ladybug and Chat Noir at the door, arguing. Nooroo could hear that Ladybug had wanted to bust in, not give Hawk Moth a moment to prepare.
Ah. So Gabriel had been correct in his suspicions that the heroes knew.
Nooroo opened the door to them, watching both heroes stiffen. Chat Noir looked upon him with big eyes. Ladybug gazed upon him with hardened resolve.
"Ladybug, Chat Noir," he greeted, looking between the two. "How can I help you?"
"W-well, you see--"
"We suspect that you're Hawk Moth," Ladybug cut in, getting straight to the point.
Chat looked ready to panic.
"Oh?" Nooroo asked calmly.
"Adrien Agreste came to school with a curious miraculous related artifact. I doubt it came from him, so you must have had it."
It was good to know that the book did fall into Ladybug’s hands. Nooroo threw them both off by offering them a kind smile.
"I did have the Grimoire," Nooroo admitted. "My wife found it last year, and I had used it for artistic inspiration. Upon your arrival, I had meant to give it to you, but I have a busy schedule, and was never able to return it. I'm glad it wound up with you."
That hostility Ladybug came with faltered, and she seem to relax a little in her surprise. "So, you had just found it?"
Nooroo nodded. "I'm sorry I had startled you so. I truly should have made an effort to get it to you."
"I... it's OK. No harm, no foul," Ladybug awkwardly offered. "I'm sorry I came in accusing you."
You weren't wrong, Nooroo thought, his smile growing. "It's fine. I appreciate the work you do. It's nice to know you'll be quick to act if you find him.” Nooroo lifted up a finger, forewarning, "But make sure you're ready, Ladybug."
He received unsure and surprised stares, and the heroes left with an awkward goodbye. They landed on the opposite building before an argument popped up between them. Nooroo went inside, having no interest in their squabble. He hurried to Gabriel’s office, stopping to see a blue being sitting on a pillow, absently munching on a cinnamon roll, looking confused.
Her crests went straight up at his sudden appearance and her pupils seem to shrink as red started to explode over her face. "You--"
"Good to see you again," Nooroo hurried out, showing Duusu an empty brooch.
The kwami faltered, then looked up to the man's eyes, seeing gentle purple orbs.
"Nooroo?"
He held out a hand to her. "I missed you, my friend."
"Nooroo!" she cried out, bypassing his hand and tackling his face. Nooroo cupped her, leaning lightly against her.
Not exactly the reunion he'd want, but he'd take anything at this point.

What if the Miracurse for Marinette isn't a punishment, but a "safe mode"? When Marinette is close of a mental breakdown, Tikki switches bodies so Marinette could rest/recover as a kwami... while she, Tikki, lives her life... and she began to realize that she wasn't helpful for her holder as she thought...
Hm... technically she could, but it's not a good idea.
At the core, this curse is safety net and punishment to misuse. And all miraculous have a basic code down of what's bad in terms of use. Though miraculouses are an extension of the kwamis, so some can be more tolerable than others. Like Cat is chaotic, destructive, and mischievous; so Adrien’s actions in Copycat? Tolerable. But if Plagg was really bothered by Adrien’s actions, the ring would respond to it.
And when a miraculous deems someone is deserving of a curse, the kwami has the say on when it officially happens.
So technically, Tikki could prompt it even if Marinette hasn't done anything in the earrings perspective to warrant the curse. The big but though is that to reverse it, the misuser needs to make it up to the one they wronged the most, either an individual or a whole community. The kwami can't reverse it even if they wanted to. As soon as they're in that human body, their influence over the miraculous is done.
If Tikki did so, Marinette would be trapped as a kwami because there is no one she has truly wronged or offer her service to.
She can continue to serve and save the city like she's been doing, but she hasn't wronged anyone and was already doing so, that wouldn't make a difference. She's also going to be even more tired as she's not a being born of energy tied to a miraculous, but a human soul swapped into a kwami body.
She'd probably be accepted by the earrings as the new ladybug kwami and have to fully give up on a normal life as there would be no easy fix to reverse it, and would have to continue this work. And officially be the weakest kwami to exist for a long time.
And Tikki would be stuck living a human life until she dies and her essence goes back to the universe, never able to interact with the world again.
The miraculous curse is a curse, and it is used as such. The only ones who truly get any benefit from it are those who were wronged by the cursed. But the cursed doesn't have a good time, and kwamis don't enjoy being human. They can live with it, but it's not their natural beings.
If Tikki did so, it wouldn't end well for her or Marinette.

When you meant another soul in need of redemption, did you mean Nathalie or Emilie? Cuz if Emilie’s condition was a result of it, is she in Duusuu's body or something? Not that I can't see Emilie as a heroine, but that porcentage is so low that it just prefer if she was a villain 😧. Also, was that a bit of Adrien salt there when you mentioned lack of empathy and desesperation? Because if that's the case, shouldn’t Plagg posess him too or was it salt on both?
No, there was someone at school that has Nooroo concerned about who they can be in the future. He wants to nip it in the bud, if Duusu is up for it.
A little bit, yes. Kwamis ultimately decide when the curse initiates, and Plagg isn't there yet to allow Adrien to fall under the curse, and the ring has flickered here and there, but Adrien hasn't yet pushed it over the edge.

cense in Miracurse Chloe would be curse right on the back, what about Nino and Alya, because I can see Alya habing a lot of problems with the curse while I really don't see Nino (until Rocketear episode) having big problems with his kwami
Alya could be cursed as she can be inconsiderate to others and leave them in tight spots that can backfire or hurt them (largely with Marinette, a little Nino and Adrien, Juleka). Though I don't know if she would end up cursed in the fic as she's not planned to be a full time hero. Unless those issues are made immediately clear (like with Chloe) a kwami and miraculous won't have much reason to curse a temp hero who won't be active for long and not doing anything wrong.
Ultimately I don't see Nino getting cursed. Though with Rocketear, it'd depend on his kwami if his actions would get him cursed. Like Wayzz would have gotten upset with him and scolded him, Trixx though might’ve cursed him. Trixx should stand for secrecy and trust, she'd be very unhappy about that.

In your Miracurse fic, hypothetically speaking, what are the possibility's for Tikky to use the curse on Marinette? And if Chloe gets/steals the Bee, would she suffer the curse even sooner?
Oh Chloe would get cursed right away. She knows no subtlety.
And no on Tikki cursing Marinette. As criticizing as Tikki is of her, Marinette never does anything to warrant a curse. Adrien’s more likely to be cursed than her.

Are you going to post the kwamicurseAU and the magicverseAU on AO3 once they get more chapters? Or will they be strictly tumblr fics?
I’m so excited for everything you’re writing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Exclamation marks x ♾)
Miracurse is now on AO3!
Magical au I'll probably make a fic tonight. Updates will vary for them both.

In Miracurse, is the curse the same for each Miraculous (body swap with kwami) or is it different?
Same.

Looking forward to read the On Her Mari Way AUs - with they allowing Marinette to stay her amazing badass self...
Don't expect anything too soon.
I got big projects atm, Copycat and the collab with Nobody. And two minor projects I do need to hop back onto, Miracurse and Do You Believe in Magic?
And then there are the upcoming WIPs that I am gradually working on here and there:
Fortune Favors the Brave
Dodged a Beetle
Chasing a Butterfly
And I'd like to work on one of the two Off to aus, and then some swap ideas.
On Her Mari Way is probably nowhere close to coming out in this moment.

Do you plan to do a proper fic of dodge-a-beetle after copycat is finished?
I plan to do it sometime, but don't know if its when Copycat is finished. It'll depend on writing and where my mood is as sometimes I will post fics up at whimsy whether they're really going to get updated a lot or not.
My apologies to Do You Believe in Magic and Miracurse.
Currently, what's planned to be next is Fortune Favors the Brave and Chasing a Butterfly. Then ideally the plan was a Fox!Marinette swap, which as far as I know, could be Dodged a Beetle or could be another Fox!Marinette that's just not an immediate focus. Initial plan was a fic called If the Foxglove Fits, but I've been going all over considering what to with it in set up and plot so focusing on other WIPs and not thinking too much about it atm.
But Dodged a Beetle, I can't say when its coming. As far as I know, it could come around the same time as CaB and FFtB. It just depends on where I get writing wise as I'm trying to write ahead for more major ideas so I can update weekly. The wait will be longer but updates will be a nice weekly treat.

Even if you don't continue Miracurse 😔😔 Can I know what are the things that change after nooro took Gabriel's body? He says that he could be a better parent (that I don´t question) but that also means that he would never be HM again? Will he leave Emilie in a coma? Would Nathalie even know what happens (She may also swap her body with her kwami)? Is Adrien gonna be finally happy?
...where was it said I wasn't continuing Miracurse????
