can anyone tell me what is going on in the third photo? i can't tell what's in it but it looks like there's a brain in the middle maybe. i've included some upscaled different versions if it helps.

it feels like one of those AI generated images where i can't identify anything but i don't think that's what it is. maybe i just need another pair of eyes on it and it's really obvious?? i can't tell, i've been trying to figure out what's going on in it for a while

In this game (DGS) is the curious matter of international relations at the time of the Meiji period. Namely, the Anglo-Japanese treaty. According to this game at least, it’s also the early days of modern science, and a poison that was unknown to the empire at the time came into play as a result. Kind of funny to me then, how one of Shuichi’s shticks as a fully-realised Ultimate Detective is analysing and concocting poisons... huh.

Not to mention how there’s evidence of Victorian-era theming in the first place, in Kirumi’s lab as well. Kirumi of course, being the prime minister- and what else? That European-style eagle on Ouma’s ancient-looking lab, Rantaro having weapons from a bygone era in his own lab, library having books with languages not recognisable to the students, never mind that [Kirumi’s execution had signs of many languages showing up] - including English, and at least one European, being Italian - indicating that the empire she served was vastly connected, and at least a few students have mentioned Europe in their histories.

If this wasn’t enough, [Byakuya even mentions foreign powers] that he’s accustomed to with his position being what it was, while some [sketchy looking books] showed up in Shuichi’s own lab (which of course, he doesn’t even acknowledge)... could this entire story be the result of an international incident?

with all of this weekend's new developments comes a new status quo for my blog. and with a new equilibrium comes some housekeeping.

Gold remembers what happened to him now.

Because Gold remembers now, he's going to start remembering a lot more about his life. Remember when I said that 'Please' wasn't his Typhlosion's real nickname? You're going to learn what it is in due time.

I have one more IC post to do for this current mini arc, but that will come later this week. All threads and asks will continue as normal, but he'll officially be back with his team in the final part.

Celebi will be a lot more open with Gold about what they did to bring him back to life, and what that means for him. He may discover a few more abilities along the way.

In the spirit of maintaining the integrity of the ARG, I will be tagging any spoilers pertaining to the outcome of it. While a lot will shift in the coming time, I want my muse to move forward. This will NOT become The Lugia Show.

For that same reason, I will tentatively begin to accept asks pertaining to the ARG's findings and Gold's death. They will be tagged accordingly, and I will be selective about what I answered. Please be sensitive and tasteful with your questions.
