araki hours... going to talk abt his covers of villain and call boy bc they have some of my fav arrangment choices. which is ABSOLUTELY one of the reasons he has some of my alltime favorite covers and is my fav utaite in general. in addition to the fact that i just like his voice lmao. will keep this under a cut bc i babble

ok so villain can be up first. one of my favorite songs, and one of my favorite covers.

first off: his voice is just... so good for this song. i think thats exemplified in both here and call boy, because both of them really suit a voice thats kind of... yknow rough, a bit disinterested? which araki can definitely do. his voice just flows so well with the emotions to me like with the “nee” bit in the second verse, the way he gets like audibly louder and more aggressive? great. one of my favoriteeeee parts in this is around 1:05, where araki does this fun “ooh”ing over the whole “villain villain villain” bit, and it’s so. it made me go back and check the original and i’d thought the part he was singing was just an instrumental line but listening back it actually really sounds like flower’s voice with a lot of effects on it! and i think it is So Cool to be like. re-voicing that bc it sounds sooo good when its brought out like that. and then!! and then at the first chorus with the “ageku no biran” line, there’s just this nice added part in the back that extends to “no” into “no-o-o” and it sounds so good for real. but bc its like. a bit quieter it doesnt rly detract from the silence between “ageku no” and “biran” that the first chorus has... to me at least. i think smthing abt villain that i really love as a song is that its got soooo many lil flairs and flourishes that rly add to the whole thing, and it feels like araki rly commits to showing those off? like all the doubling thats here in this song. its so good. like the way the hits on “life” in the “dakatsu life” really, well... hit. the layered vocals sound so good.

secondly: call boy. gahhh again his voice just sounds sooo good w/ this song. like the whole song itself is this thing of like. oh fuck everything im in a destructive spiral and araki just totally embodies that callous feeling to me. im sure anybody who’s listened to his cover already knows what im talking abt but the line around 0:40 (”naa nandemo yaru kara sa”) is so. like the laugh between “naa” and “nandemo” ABSOLUTELY characterizes the song so well. its such a good detail and doesnt feel out of place at all, especially bc call boy also has a bunch of like those little vocal flourishes and interjections(? idk how to describe them) within the song. other things i LOVE though. in that same line when the “sa” is held out right before dropping into the next line and then the chorus, the instrumental has this little like. it walks up a few notes to build tension. and araki just voices that with lil “ooh”s! it sounds so good. then theres the chorus which is like. it sounds great. again lots of layered vocals which is great! it sounds absolutely explosive and also like, a party so very in-theme for the song to me. and then! the chorus ends with “don’t stop / kamawazu ni mou ippai” which gets repeated with some variation after each chorus. love that line. but araki also adds like some “ooh”ing vocals here which kind of... matches the instrumental? like its working off of the same base structure but it’s really not a one-to-one. but again it like really adds to the impact and it sounds good and I really think it makes it so like. the thing he did before feels consistent and reasonable instead of just random. these lil vocal additions right before and at the end of the chorus happen for all three times the chorus comes around! such a nice detail. and OF COURSE i have to mention the last line (”won’t stop / shinu mae ni mou ippai”) because oh my god. in the og this line is basically sung how it is in the first chorus, but the “i” in “ippai” is accented/held just a lil for some oomph. araki goes and like. changes the rhythm a little and ends up landing on a much higher note than how the usual line ends and it absolutely is just like. oh great that had so much energy to it that i’m ruined for other covers now.

2. It Is Illegal To Catch A Fish with Your Bare Hands (Kansas) .. that’s just showing off so yeah, screw that guy, go to jail, not so big now are you mr. bare handed fisher.

3. Illegal to Eat Fried Chicken (Except With Your Hands) (Gainesville, Georgia) I mean it’s probably the easiest way to eat fried chicken.. if you’re eating fried chicken.. like a chicken wing.. with a knife and fork.. yeah, go to jail.

4. Drivers Must Not Pump Their Own Gas (Oregon and New Jersey) .. Jokes on this law.. it’s not a Gas it’s a Liquid.. silly.

woke up so late todaaay doe almost 11 naaa idk why i slept so long todaaay doeee but my head hurts gyapon pag mata huhu issa very lutaw ko now doeee aish ion like it gyd basta so dugay wake up uiieee and so lain gyd ginhawa so i took painkiller doe and timing nag cook mommy lauya issa murag na ulian2 ko sa sabaw doeee hehe help2 pd ko sa kitchen uy nang limpyo and hugas ko cos mom man cook sa lunch and food for dogs

after dat i went to my old room there ko tambay doeee gitiwas nako ang kdrama na ako gina watch cos last 3 eps nalang maaan and u knooow what when i finished it 2pm kapin issa ka cry ko diretso doeee huhu idkkk i was holding out the negative feelings doe and when i was not distracted na aish issa i couldnt help it na doe

anad naman ko sa emptiness and loneliness but it still hurts a lot doeee the pain doesnt go away everytime i cry even though for the past year i have cried so much

only me and the universe knows how much i’ve cried this year doe and days like today when i cry the hardest are the most painful doeee because i question myself and my decisions a lot and all i can do is cry and be strong for myself doeee because i know that all i have is myself gyd. i know a lot of people are around me but sometimes i feel like a burden doeee other people cannot know about what im feeling doe and i also feel like a burden to you :(

its been almost a year doeee but i feel like im only at 40% not even halfway thereeee and i feel the sadness and the pain the most at days like these doe. sometimes i would have days and even weeks where i would be able to go on without feeling it so much but then there are also weeks like this na ma feel nako everyday ang emptiness and ang pain doeee aishhh u know i try so hard to break the cycle but its like my body and my heart is making me feel it doeee 🥺 hayyy i just need to get through tough days like todayyy and continue to hope for a better tomorrow and i know puhon puhon idk when but i’ll also be happy doeee 🤗 aish idk if naa muabot sako life so dat i’ll be happy or maybe i’ll just be contented with my life gyd heheh i want to be happy on my own doe but idk issa i am someone gets so bored basta walay ka storya doe omggg dapat na nako change cos ion wanna uyab2 pa!!! 😤😤😤 i want to be happy and independent!

so its spooky season right??

so an au where tony “dies” after im3 and leaves his assets to the Avengers Initiative. After the events of winter soldier, Pepper divides his assets amongst the team; since the will explicitly states “The Avengers Initiative” and not the Government.

Bucky doesn’t run away at the end of the film; and instead Sam and Bucky hole up in the Malibu mansion while Steve work with Nat and Pepper to legally exonerate his name. (there’s a side pepperstevenat here btw). JARVIS is alive ofc, and one of the things that helps Bucky out of his disassociate states is listening to stories about Tony.

This is cuz, initially Bucky still associates Tony to Howard, and its a sense of familiarity- but slowly Bucky starts falling for Tony; and the idea of Tony starts pulling Bucky back into normalcy. Sam warns him that its no good for his psyche to fall in love with a ghost; but is otherwise understanding and supportive.

And the more Bucky learns about Tony, the more he gets obsessed with Tony. He learns everything there is to know about Tony- and he starts noticing some gaps in the story; things that don’t add up. Like the way JARVIS seems to go offline for a couple of seconds every couple of days, even though Steve swears that Tony’s tech was the best of the best. The way that Pepper always seems to be, distant and worried about something. The fact that Rhodey didn’t show up for his own bestfriend’s wedding.

He does some investigating; and basically he figures out that Tony isn’t dead- but that Aldrich somehow survived and kidnapped Tony while Tony was under anaesthesia from the surgical suite. Pepper had him declared him so she could get access to his funds, and Rhodey and Pepper have been looking for him ever since.

Eventually, Tony breaks himself out- because essentially he would’ve been Aldrich’s guinea pig which had the bonus of being continuously pumped with variations of EXTREMIS that, once stabilised, just made him strong enough to escape

But Tony’s been under capture for almost 2 years now; and the only people he responds to are Rhodey, Pepper and surprisingly- Bucky. (it later comes out that those times that JARVIS went offline was Tony hacking into his systems through EXTREMIS and trying to send a signal but he was never strong enough to keep the signal. but he was there long enough to catch glimpses of Bucky’s adoration of him)

And there’s a lot of emotional healing but eventually buckytony happens and rhodey&tony are besties yay

thats the kind of love (ive been dreaming of): this would be a rhodeytony fic; probably just pure fluff- maybe mit era?? or pre im1 era?? or just post im2

i would straight up write kal ho na ho. with tony as shah rukh, rhodey as saif and pepper as preity; complete with the heart condition- kanta bhai thinking that rhodey and tony were gay for each other and tony’s undying love for pepper. i would also write a healthy amount of rhodeypepper because i actually really like that ship.

or actually, i could even do stevetonybucky with steve as shah rukh; bucky as saif and tony as preity. i could see that happen as well.

So i calmed myself and said sorry cause you are still in the middle of your work so i decide to txt you, to talk on your bhaus. Then it all started, you dont want to talk to me anymore, no answered calls, youve already ghosted me for almost 6 days not having any answers nor talks from you? and it hurt so bad, im so distracted, you didnt even bother for my feelings, babo? why? just because i bursted out like that your going to throw away everything we build? why? why wont you dare talk to me? is there really someone new? babo why? why those nicknames and in a relationship of your hasnt change? why? So Today Was Weird

So I dont know what came over me but I was actually asleep I wanna say by 10:30p or 11p last night . I go in early so I for whatever reason I got up at 4:30 . At first I woke up at 4 though ; I was just like ehh too early so I went back to sleep . I guess my sleep got deep but like a good deep 30 minutes nap . I was up like a spring chicken . Again , I usually have just a little drag to me ; but there wasn’t a drop of drag in me .

But I knew something was off I just didn’t know what . So remember I told you my girlfriend and I aren’t really like connecting at all in the previous blog post . Well she once again responded in a damn message after I thought we was gone use our throats and mouth to discuss anything instead of texts but I guess not . Apparently I read the message at like 12:30 . Mind you I know I wasn’t awake so it had to of woken me up or whatever no big deal . But had I not looked at my messages and seen just the small glimpse of the message I wouldn’t have realized she wrote me ; because again , I was asleep when she sent it . I hate when she does that though . Waits until I’m good and damn sleep to wanna talk or waits until she wants to open up . But be having the nerve to get on me about communication . I now I’m young and stupid and can be a little wreckless but damn baby girl . IS WE GONE COMMUNICATE WITH WORDS OR NAA ? I guess not since her throat still dont work and the only way to hear her voice is come up with a bs convo just to see if she gone respond .

But in this point in time . I just dont know guys . Like I really dont . I fckd up I know in the past .And I also had other obligations prior to her . So I dont really understand why she is so frustrated as if she didn’t know my finances at first were shaky . I guess because I didn’t tell her who I owed and how much ? Quite frankly its none of her business tho . It all happened before her . But shit now I am debt free to them mutha fckrs . So I can actually help out like , ALOT more . Like more than she thinks . I actually make pretty decent money though at Holley .

I been venting on here and when she wanted to talk via texts , I got what I had to say out . So on my part it really aint nun to be said . I’m just gone be all ears and just listen and take it in . But I got to work on my face tho because honestly my face will give off the “ i dont care “ look and it just be my face . I hate having RBF . Its genetic tho ; on my dads side . All them negros got stank faces and dont mean no harm . Just got to over look it .

I guess I’ll go take a shower and fold clothes and chillout with the tv until I am addressed on whats going and and where do she and I go from here . Right now ? I feels like theres a her and a me . No we . I feel like my eviction notice is coming soon . But again I am okay with that if thats what she chooses . Cant fault her for how she feels and the actions she chooses to take on from here . Just accept that shit and keep grinding .
