She nodded at the mention of her name, letting him know he was correct. Observant eyes followed him as he stood up to his full height, Akane’s expression shifting to one of shock as he bowed at the waist to her. How could he be so polite after all that had happened? Even if Casto’s smile and humor was put on to shield himself, she had to respect his ability to do so in this solemn situation. He lost his whole crew and yet... This was a love and respect only Pops could conjure in others.
“Don’t apologize.” She replied, waving a hand before crossing her arms. She did not feel right accepting his courtesies. “It’s... difficult.” The word felt awkward in her mouth, unsure of what the right word would be to use for what they were going through. Her gaze shifted over to the field of graves as she uttered the quiet words, “I think... we’re done.” A sigh left her as her worst fears were vocalized for the first time. The commanders had been in talks the past few days and they’ve all but announced that they were disbanding the crew. The thought both pained and scared her.

@nervionsailor // casto please run away fly away somethin-
Distaste and annoyance was clear over the yonko’s face. She wasn’t expecting anyone to invade her private time for her to need to deal with! And certainly not one of that old man’s crew. Even after he had died, she thought that any remnant of that crew would scatter or even die. How unlucky she was! Now one of them was right at her door! Brought in by one of her beloved children--she didn’t care which one, she might have been even angry at the one that did! Was she supposed to waste her time on whoever this was??
She had never seen--or if she had she didn’t remember--this pirate. He clearly wasn’t as important as the others, and thus Linlin hadn’t a care to even learn about him. Sure, their informants were tight rooted...But she didn’t know every little itty bit of information they collected! A grimace stretched further down after stuffing some sweet--dessert of love it was so delicious!~--down her throat. She didn’t have to have manners for this thing.
“ Why have you come to my territory? Did you want to DIE? I can give you that very easily! ”

@nervionsailor asked: Casto's eyes stared upwards, trying to reach her eyes with his gaze. "Forgive me for staring, miss." He chuckled lightly as he tapped his heels together. "It's not everyday I find someone taller than me."
🕷 Layla was use to many being shorter then her, then again there were far more taller then her as well. She was sure that the other was being as polite as he could on the matter. It was a well put together statement aside from ‘ you’re one giant women.’ like she’s heard from several men before. Disgusting but made looking down upon them more fulfilling.
She couldn’t help but chuckle painted nails and jeweled fingers a shine against glossed red lips. “No problem at all, I’m sorry if I've startled you. It was not my intention. Though.....” If they were on the topic of appearances and presentation.
“You’re eyes and complexation. I’ve seen it but on a few.... I state for my mother was born of the same characteristics...it’s where I get most of mine, height included~” There was no insincerity to Casto in the slightest , the spider let her curiosity show honestly on the matter. 🕷

@nervionsailor ; "Wait! Wait! Don't move!" Casto waved his hand energically as he ran closer. His wings fluttered with the sea breeze and muttered something under his breath. "Ah! My apologies, I wanted to make sure you didn't hurt yourself. I've had a small mishap and I... scattered feathers all over the floor." — reply with whoever you wish! ♥
IT IS HER LOVE FOR BIRDS and collecting feathers which draws the hummingbird to the scene to begin with, the scattered ones all over the floor drawing the curiosity of wide eyed indigo as she is about to rush to inspect one of them, until halted suddenly by their ally.
❝Ah Casto!❞ she says in acknowledgement. ❝—But why are you apologizing? There so pretty❞ while the rest of the crew may not share her enthusiasm about the scattered feathers on deck, she certainly for one didn’t seem to mind. ❝Let me help you clean up!❞

@nervionsailor asked:
"Pillow salesman has arrived to Wano! High quality feathers coming from mysel-... A very precious unidentified creature! You, my dear fellow look like you could use one! For the very cheap price of eternal friendship!"
“...Huh?” Yamato looked down at the foreign man with confusion. A solicitator in Onigashima? Unheard of. He shrugged. “Do you have any idea where you are right now? Unless you’ve already made a deal with Kaido, they aren’t going to take kindly to you here. And what do you mean by ‘eternal friendship’? Who even are you???”

[ ✖ ] – Akane gazed up at the graves of Whitebeard and Ace, her mind surprisingly quiet for the first time in many weeks. She did not think that they would be returning to the memorial site so soon, and especially not under these awful circumstances, and yet the crew was forced to live through another nightmare. Akane had no more tears left to shed, being left with a feeling of emptiness as she had helped dig more graves to add to the site over the last couple days.
Teach obliterated the crew as well as the allies that chose to stand by the Whitebeard Pirates in what was now being called the Payback War by the newspapers. How does one even recover from this? Do the wounds ever heal? What’s worse was that she overheard Marco speaking of disbanding the crew. If they did, she would have nothing left.
There were many people paying their respects to their crewmates, placing white crosses or gifts on fresh burial mounds. She recognized one in particular who had been there for awhile-- an ally who’s face she first recalled seeing a couple years ago during better times. “Your crew...” That’s right, the Nervion Pirates had some of the highest casualties in the battle. Surely not only the captain remained? “I’m... so sorry.”

nervionsailor replied to your: Casto ties small feathers at the end of her braids...
“High quality feathers, young lady. You’ll be sleeping on a cloud with them.”
She mouthed the following words without a second thought.
"High. Quality. I'm intrigued, a gal needs top-notch beauty sleep! Such luxury!"

 It's been a while, Mr. Whitebeard! ❞ Casto's shoutings preluded his careless landing. His feet fought to keep balance and the white-haired looked up at the pirate as he finally recovered the composure. His feathers fluttered in excitement but he took a deep breath to calm himself down as he bowed down to the man. ❝ I see you're looking healthy these days, sir! How's your body doing these days ? ❞
The Moby Dick had anchored alongside the Nervion Pirate’s ship, the two crews having crossed paths and thus deciding to take some time to enjoy one another’s company. The captain had been brought under the Whitebeard flag through connection to Ace, as many allies had been.
A toothy smile flashed under Newgate’s stache, “Don’t go talking about my health around the nurses, you brat.” The last thing he needed was for the nurses that fluttered around him to start listing their complaints on his disobedience. They were lucky at all that they were able to humiliate him by wearing IVs around the youngins. He did not like having the young brats worrying about his health as if he needed any help or concern.
“Enough of that.” He shifted in his seat, leaning back against the cushions, “How have the seas been treating you Casto?”

nervionsailor replied to your post: *slips a note under the door* "Something exploded...
“Always good old Casto’s fault, isn’t it?” He whines as he tries to get the dust off him. “It was one of the old cannons, okay? We were supposed to store them but it just went off.”
"Fine fine, it's no biggie.” She pats him on the back, reassuring him that this accident is nothing major. Steam sets down the toolbox and goes in to inspect what caused the damage.
"Some idiot left ammunition in there. So when you tried to move it, it triggered the explosion. Hand me that crowbar there, I'll need to dig out the remains.” Adding a mental note to have a very public yet generic scolding warning to the entire crew through loudspeakers later.
Seems like some people need a refresher on "Safety first”. And wasting precious ammunition? Come on now. The basics. She sure was steaming at this point. *bada tsss*

@nervionsailor said ; He quietly covers Robin's chest with the cape. "Sir, you're going to catch a cold exposing your pecs like that..." / Unprompted.
He feels a cape swiftly rest over his frame, and with confusion being still present on the outlaw´s bright eyes, he raises an eyebrow at the male in front of him before reaching over the cape recently placed over his frame only to take it off and proceed to return it back to its owner;
"---Your worries are welcomed, but you know--- us servants can´t catch colds."
