Good fun at the Newark Antiques fair today. My best find from the bottom of a cardboard box among some vintage stamps and cigarette cards was this broken micro-mosaic brooch shaped a like a guitar with Italy stamped on the back. Even with the mosaics missing - Isn’t it beautiful? Some highlights from yesterday’s International Antiques Fair at Newark Showground. It was gloriously hot and sunny. While there weren’t as many crate digging junk box discoveries as I’d have hoped for (not sure why that was) I did nab some more amazing vintage mosaic beads and a set of weirdly outlandish beads that I’m excited to use.
