okay now i've had some time to process and stop hysterically laughing here are my actual thoughts on hey, melissa!

everyone who said this is bad is a coward. this FUCKED. like do i ever want to see it again?? doubtful. but it was still really good!!!

honestly this might be the scariest nmt ep. there's a lot of nmt eps where even tho i really like them they do make me sort of sit back and go like that wasn't actually scary though? but THIS?? hell yeah babey finally some good fucking horror

i think this is the only nmt ep without any supernatural or sci fi phenomena???? which is WILD. my girl melissa doesn't need any of that shit to be fucked up #girlboss

i like to think that in at least one world melissa and grace are best friends. the absolute havoc they'd wreak,,,,,,,,,

man i'd missed the s1 format so MUCH like i love the way s2 got to be edited and it definitely makes them easier to follow but i missed seeing everyone absolutely lose their shit in the background (like you cannot tell me that daddy wouldn't be 10 times better with the cast reacting)

mariah's such a good singer that i tend to forget she's also an amazing actress. sorry queen you are terrifying. i still want kim to play the next musical villain but god mariah needs to be a main villain at some point too please maybe they can be villains together

Drinking in solidarity with my homies at NMT, its 49'ers this weekend and god it's basically 3 days of drinking and debauchery after midterms, it really has to be experienced but I'll do my best to tell the tales

It begins with comedy night on friday, in which students play casino games (with chips provided, no real gambling of course) and then see a semi famous comedian. The comedians are always in awe of us in our santa hats (49'ers is basically christmas to us) and the bats in our theatre. Apparently the bats are like an inside joke in comedian circles, they chill in our theatre but get excited during a show, were all scientists there so we just let them live their best lives. Some comedians get scared bc they swoop down during good shows, but were used to it.

Then theres the rugby game and subsequent hike up M mountain, named bc we put a big fucking M at the top that we light up for special events. If you want you can carry a 50 lbs sack of limestone up the mountain to repaint the stones white (they're visible during the day bc of this) and btw, it is not a small mountain.

Then sunday is really for more drinking and recovery, sometimes the carnival and 49ers intersect so that's the day we have carnival. They clear out the student parking lots and bring in fair rides and amusements, it's an absolute blast even though it's a shitty little carnival thrown for like 1000 people. All this at the 13th best STEM school in America in a town of 7000 people. God damn do I miss it.

Texas may party hardy but they cant match the desperation of 1500 lonely engineers who drink liquor and do coke every fucking tuesday, apparently theyve added fishbowl bloody marys this year to try and get em to get their veggies (the cafeteria there is affectionately named shartwells [real name Chartwells] after the many, many times theyve given students food poisoning).

God I miss it there, theres a real solidarity that cant be matched by these texas bois. Still though, in the shadow of that mountain, I was gonna die. There ain't shit to do in that town but start drama and brother, I seen enough to last a lifetime. I wanna live peacefully now, but fuck if theres a reason to visit those streets its 49ers.

Mind you this is THE drinking and debauchery weekend in a town I've seen women fuck on my couch (encouraged viewers) on a wine wednesday, seen not one but 2 groups tripping nuts (one with a stolen school sign) pass through my home in 1 night, and seen a gang fight complete with baseball bats and chains between townies and techies. NMT was one wild fucking ride man

Here's the recipe: Chocolate raspberry cheesecake protein smoothie: 1 scoop Keto cheesecake protein powder @giantsports 1 cup fresh raspberries @wholefoods 2 tbs organic cacao powder @essentiallivingfoods 1 tbs dark chocolate 🍫 powder @hersheyschocolateworld 1 tbs chia seeds @nutiva 1 1/2 cups walnut milk (or almond milk) @silk 1 cup filtered water 1/2 cup ice (more if desired) Blend all ingredients together until desired texture, add ice and blend another 30 secs.
