Why don’t you ship it? IM SO SORRY I TRIEDDD MAN I TRIED SO HARDD i know about the fuckin "boyfriends come and go but girlfriends are forever" line and the idea of Sierra going from not liking her at all to being Heather's ultimate supporter is a neat idea but it just. Never clicked. That and the content about them doesn't tend to grab me. (doesn't help that i haven't watched WT yet and i don't have the time or motivation to commit to a full watch)

What would have made you like it? Idfk!!! Alot of Heather ships just don't click with me in general (like i either prefer them as friends or just. don't fucking get it), and canon Sierra is. a problem. give her therapy and then i'll consider it

Dashawn - ship it

What made you ship it? I'll be real, @noahtally-famous's fics about these boys did. I love how they write them!!! They both have issues and are pretty opposite and their relationship 100% needs major amounts of compromise to work but damn they'd be cute i think

What are your favorite things about the ship? As i said, the opposites attract aspect here is pretty strong; Shawn is a survivalist who can hop from tree to tree, Dave looks like he spends 2 hours at most in the sun. Shawn could probably dive into a dumpster and be completely fine afterwards, Dave has a panic attack about grease on his hands. They do have some things in common: namely that they're both really weird. Only one is aware of it. Pretty funny to me.

Dave could probably calm Shawn down if he's panicking about zombies and Shawn can wash the dishes for Dave in return :D

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? There are like 5 shippers i don't even know people's general opinion on this ship??? so instead just have this image because i think it's cute

Why don’t you ship it? I'll be real, it's just because i only like them as like. Fun stupid drama. That fucking clip of Scott eating dirt and asking if Courtney would cheat on him is peak comedy to me. comic relief straights. (it's a lesbian and a gay man)

to me, shawn has spanish lineage (I’m thinking hispanic--specifically from spain). calling dave “amigo”, translating ‘the little apple of death’ from spanish and saying it in spanish first

idc if amigo is a casual term everyone uses or that maybe shawn was so knowledgeable that he used the spanish name of the fruit first. it just makes sense that he has hispanic ancestry that he doesn’t utilize a whole lot, only here and there, bc it hasn’t been expressed in his familial environment often. but like he can speak spanish mostly fluently, though his accent isn't noticeable

idk I also picture him as the kind of guy who knows a lot of languages bc who knows where the safest apocalypse bunker could be located?

dave who used to play at tournaments but now is just. not (also he's trans bc i want to project being fem in chess haha) (second? year)

shawn who got pulled into this because the school rejected his idea of an anti zombie club so dave just took him to chess club meetings instead (same year as dave?)

still besties

maybe a trying to matchmake alenoah plot in which they grow actual feelings for each other, maybe not

debating about if i should have the side ships be rarepairs or popular ships

(basically everything is a pi rarepair though which makes the decision way easier but only for them)

imagining emma (td2023), all fueled up and angrily ranting bc smth (prob chase-related) ticked her off and she's red in the cheeks and pissed now, and then wayne (or zee)--with absolutely no context, chances are they've no idea what's happening--just walks up to her, arms around her shoulders, kisses her cheek, and says "chill, dude (or babe)" and watches with fond satisfaction as emma just pauses and melts for a couple seconds before "oh fine whatever" bc suddenly whatever she was mad abt doesn't seem all that important

and wayne/zee grins all golden-retriever-like at her before turning to everyone else and going "you're welcome" (or maybe, in zee's case: lifting their soda and going "cheers dudes!") and that's when ppl find out what--or rather who--emma's flip-switch is

one-sided (unrequited) aletyler but on alejandro's side, that takes place over the course of wt, and it's basically doomed from the start bc although alejandro likes tyler (and he tries hard not to, but that's a lost cause) tyler loves lindsay too much to see him in that specific way despite being his bi awakening. and it's just. tyler being oblivious, alejandro lowkey pining and hurting at the same time but trying not to show it while also getting mad at himself for being vulnerable enough for this to have happen to him. it's a mess
