💜 What is the most heart wrenching passage you've ever written?

OHHHHH....... Gosh.... Probably Harrisburg in Falling Slowly; Sing Your Melody (I’ll Sing It Loud)

But then Eddie turned and nearly felt his heart break into pieces.

Buck was pressed back against the wall, his arms wrapped around himself as he hunched over, and with his teeth latched deep into the skin of his bottom lip in a desperate attempt to keep it all in. But he couldn’t and shouldn’t and his shoulders were heaving as the sob that burst past his lips fought out of him. Eddie swooped under him before he could crumble to the floor and pulled Buck into his arms, catching him like he promised.

Buck’s legs folded under him and Eddie fell onto his butt so he could move Buck into his lap. A shuddering wet sob fell out with a whimper against his neck and Eddie shushed him through the worst of his sorrow.

His sorrow that was so much like that first night he heard Buck sing. Except that sorrow was great and this sorrow was weak and stale from old wounds that were never left to heal.

Eddie moved his hand up to flip the deadbolt and leaned back into the corner where the doorframe met wall, rocking Buck as he cried all the weeping betrayals and heartaches into Eddie’s skin.

But also I almost said this moment with Eddie in What a Wicked Thing to Do (to Let Me Dream of You)

“No, c’mon!” Buck protested. “What does that mean? I don’t treat you like you’re Abby!”

“Yes, you do,” Eddie insisted, pushing out every word from between his teeth. Eddie fisted his free hand and shoved his knuckles against his temple as if to work out a headache.

Buck didn’t think he was going to add anything to that but he could see Eddie actively fighting to avoid shutting down and Buck didn’t know whether to push or wait.

“Do you know how much it hurts to have you look at me like you’re waiting for me to bolt?” Eddie finally asked and the thickness of barely concealed emotion was coated over every syllable. It was a confession that pierced through Buck’s chest like an arrow and left him bleeding out.

If I’m just temporary.

That’s what Eddie had said that morning after their marathon of sex tripping on LSD fudgy brownies.

Because that fic is very focused on Buck's inner turmoil but I really wanted to show much it hurt Eddie as well and my heart still aches a little when I remember writing that.

on a lonely day in los angeles i come across a dude who’s tall and blonde. i get nervous quick because he’s so handsome, so i reassure myself and walk up to him and say hi my names kishana and yours? K: word imma play baddest 🙂 C: ohhhhh word 😎👀 Later that evening i get bold and we set a vibe and i have no clue if he’s gonna make a move or not so i go in for the kill. and luckily i got a pedicure 👀👀 C: oh shiiiiiiiiii 🤪😱 i totally didn’t kno u we’re gon do that but don’t stop K: uhmmmmfff don’t stop? 😫😉 ok daddy C: how you do that with your mouth 😩 K: (stops what i’m doing for a min) ion kno tbh it just has a mind for its own. C: (picks me up and takes me to his room) oh shiiii white toenails, a masterpiece 🤤🤤🤤😩 K: yeah i just got a pedicure earlier today. enough talk..👀👀👀 C: hold up lemme put on a rubber. an hour or more went by and i’m like totally down for round 2 but the manz is tired K: that was crazy i didn’t kno i was that flexible C: i didn’t kno either. K: i can go if u want me to or i can fix u dinner 🙂 C: hah yeah u can totally fix dinner fine by me i made him dinner and we talked and i left later K: (thoughts) that’s crazy this is crazy i can’t believe i just smash colson bruh the works of life is funny how it makes two people come across each other
