”Something of you“ WarxReader

Everybody would say that, even if it was in fact an incorrect quote, that it was normal that a woman would like to stare at her own reflection in the mirror. You would have even agreed if it wasn’t for the fact that you wasn’t staring at yourself but at something else.

At the beginning it started with a little red sign at the perfect centre of your chest, almost invisible o be honest. Only your own eyes were capable to perceive it, but you didn’t mind at all. Your body was covered in scars from the olds days, why bother for something that was as big as the head of a pin? You let the thing slide...until you started to notice some changes in whatever thing you got. It wasn’t just growing as mass of whatever thing was, but more like a pattern, lines that intertwined with eachother, creating a strange and yet mesmerizing design of your skin, becoming more intricating each passing day, just like when a new branch start to grown on a tree. When you realise how “not normal” that thing was, you ask for advice on Fury, the only one that were not that overprotecting on you at the point to take you to the hospital for a cut or strandled you on bed, and she was confused as much as you! At first sight her insticts said that that thing was some kind of angel curse or something, but she was uncapable to feel anything arming on you. It was just a red sign that started to appear on your body and nothing more! But you know that wasn’t near the thruth. The second change appear one day, when you and War were spending a nice and warming spring morning together, admiring a nature that was long forgotten on your planet, bathing in that calming sensation and just enjoying each other presence when you just...feel it. It was like sensing a tingly sensation on your skin, like something crawling on you and when you immediately check on it you saw that lines where not anymore just some red signs, they were glowing! It wasn’tjust a blinking kind of glowing, it was more like the embers of the fire, with brights lines followed by more darked spots of deep red. Even in that occasion you didn’t feel any pain from it, like tht was nothing but that wasn’t even normal! But the worst had happen just a few minutes ago... One thing tat you notice to change with signs? Your tem,perature, you were in a constant feeling that everywhere was hot, a warming sensation that confused your sense to day one. No matter how cold you tried to take, you were capable just to feel a fierly sensation deep inside you, but you tried everything to take it undercontrol, until now at least! War had returned from a mission after a long week , and enjoyed a few days of demons hunt, so the next thing he wanted was spending the next few days in your company, showing you his trophy and talk about these new worlds that he had visited, keeping to himself the idea of showing them to you next time. You were so happy to see him back, completely hide the tingly sensation that was now coming back from you, and completely rapt on his words, hist story...everything. Until you just....burns. War notice it before you could sense it, he saw your clothes start to emitt a series of black clouds of smoke, accompanied by the distinct smell of burnt wood from the table were your hand was resting. Before even your eyes could catch wathever was happening on you, War grabbed you by your shoulder, as faster as when you were in a real danger during the end of days, and throw at the nearest source of water in the area, which was the old water trough near the barn that you and Strife repaired a few weeks ago. Flying over the tantrum that you were almost ready to throw at him for the scene, he started to inspect your body for any trace of harm on you, coming from your spontaneous combustion or from himself, and the only things that he finds was red burning wines that covered your skin, almost touching the visible side of your neck from your now soaked t-shirt, “...Y/N....What is happening?!” And these only four words take here, at the mirror of your bathroom, almost naked, stating that maybe things are not that okay as you were thinking to be. War was outside the wooden door, his hears sharped enough to try to catch anything that was happening inside that tiny room. He was capable to catch the noise of your wet clothes falling on the floor and your frantic feets moving around, checking every angle of your body. And the breath....you were scared. “....Y/N....” He posed his good hand on the surface of the door, hearing a gulp from inside. “Y/N, please, open the door...” “War, i can’t, i don’t...” “I need to see it...you don’t have to hide that, whatever it is i want to help....” A little pause, a sigh from the other side and then door lock finally open. He was...surprised. Usually he was over protective on everything about you, from your mental to your body health, but that thing was almost nice to his eyes. Spirals of fire glowing, intertwine in an enchanting weaves. Some were wide as a finger, other were thin lines, touching each other, caressing every courve of your body. He was allmost mesmerized...untill he saw your scared and embarrassed looks on him. I calm himself, coughing a little to call his composure back, and taking your hand on his to watch closely those strange signs on you, and there happen again. The hand that he was holding became hot, not enough to hurt him of course, but hurt enough to startled the horseman. You immediately take your hand, holding it closed to your chest, whacthing your friend, confused just like you. “...I need to consult my brothers.” //////////// “She was immolate?!” As always it was Strife that broke the intense silence that fall on him and his family, jumping on the fallen trunk that make as a sit near the fire in that desert-like world. Fury was nervous to say the least, she explain that she was there at the beginning but she’d never imagine that something like that could happen on a human! Death was in a feral silent, listening to his brother confusing rumbling about everything that War told them. “She can’t immolate, she would DIE from it!” “I KNOW that, brother. I don’t you to remind me how low humans can take high temperature!” “Well things are changing since she was burning and even didn’t notice it!” “OOOOH Could you two stop?! Arguing it’s useless now!” Fury stand up, putting herself eye level with her twin brother, hair twirling for the exhausting situation. Strife eyes glow in a luminescence rage. “We wouldn’t be aruing NOW if you told us BEFORE!” “Oh yes! Of course! Why didn’t she say anything at the beginning?! Ah yes, because you would have just make thing worse, just like now since you all traite her as a child that need protection from EVERYTHING!” During the arguing, the three didn’t notice the oldest stand up, grab them by their collar and throw them back down to the trunk , raising coulds of dusts, make the youngest just take the message to shut their mouth and let him gather his thoughts. “...Very well...now you two, calm down, this is not the case to start a quarrel....Fury, you said that you felt nothing from it, am i correct?” “...Yes.” “I need to be sure, can you swear to me that nothing of malevolent was growing on her?” “I AM. I sense nothing! It was just a drawing, like a war paint!” Strife left a sigh, but for Death it was enough. He thrusted Fury senses, they were as sharped as his, if there was something she would have taken care of it on the moment! Then his eyes posed on his youngest sibling, War, that now was just more focused on not run to Azrael to find a cure for Y/N. “War...i know you’re concerned for her, but i need you to tell me: before this, did you notice something...off?” War raised his sight, looking in his brother eyes, and then he calm himself and start to recall the last few months. “....Well...she did not avoid me, it was more like something distract her and force her away from me...but she spent time with you all and-” “If you think it’s something that happen to us too, no War. I too spent entire days with her and nothing happen. That means that this happen with you only.” Before a sense of guilty could strike the youngest, Death immediately take him back on him. “And now, most important: did you feel something different in the few months? Anything...sensation of some kind?” His eyes started showing surprise that his brother could know about this thing. He was the same, no signs on his harms, on his skin, not even scars or stuff, but he wasn’t capable even to say that he was the same. Everything changes after the fall of the Charred council, many things were still changing and they would have more, but himself something started to move after his meeting with you. It was like completing a puzzle were he was holdings some parts and you were the owner of the others. A missing part that he never bother to find... “...Not from the few months...from much more time...i’m feel different, capable to understand things i didn’t know...it’s like see a new kind of color, all it’s the same and different at the same time...” He tried his best to explain, even knowing that it was complicated, but Death seemed to understand. The oldest sighed with relief, left a few low laugh, and old his brother shoulder, watch him dirrectely in his eyes. “She’s fine...she’ll be fine, as you will. The only help she’ll need it will be by choice, on help her to control it or just..get rid of it, it won’t even be a painfully operation.” “For creator sake, Death, TALK! What is happening!” Death left War’s shoulder and finally faces his thers siblings, still ina sea of confusion, but at least relief about knowing that you would have spent more days with them alive. “It’s...an old thing..something that i didn’t experienced, but i know it was a common thing in the Nephilim race...we do believed that when a..,.couple, was well matched, part of the soul of each other could reach the other and became one. In other words, something from you come to me and something from me come to you.” “Wait...wait are....are you telling us that part of the soul of War get inside Y/N?” “As a part of Y/N’s soul is, now, inside War...” Fury wasn’t too young during the purge, but that strange story never reached her hears, as Strife’s too, since when a soul can do something as that?! If verything that Death was saying, if you really had part of his own soul inside of your body, and he had a part of yours....then the meaning was something that even him was not ready to take, or at least he’d believed...

I just read through the screenshots from the fjorester discord and I’m honestly very uncomfortable with some of the things you said or agreed with. I really enjoy both your content and fjorester (especially your fjorester moments and fanfic!) but I just wanted to know if you stand by everything you said?

Okay, so there’s been a lot of discourse going around and I’d like to address it.

First of all, this was my first reaction as posted on twitter:

Second of all, I’d like to reiterate some things here:

I deeply and honestly apologize to anyone who was hurt by this. I will not deny in any way that it was wrong and even though I deeply believe that nobody in the server had negative intentions, I realize that intent is pointless when the result is hurtful.

I do not condone what happened. I’m a very flawed person, obviously, and while some of the problematic things flew over my head, others maybe I just didn’t know how to handle.

While I think context is important, I cannot speak for other people nor will I make excuses for them. I can only speak for myself and hope that it is clear that I fucked up but meant no harm.

So about my involvement, here are some things I guess I can say regarding a couple of the screenshots:

The thing about the cheek kiss fanart, for example, I realize sounded shitty. It came from me being generally annoyed by a fandom trend (not CR exclusive) of supplanting female characters with male ones in canon interactions. It feels, from my POV, misogynist. I’d seen previously some WF art like this and was already annoyed, which is why seeing wf cheek kiss fanart the day after it happened in canon made me squint at it. In my wording in the server, I tried to convey that I know obviously it’s not an exclusive gesture for Fj but the previous context made me just wary of it. After I shared that, ppl on the server pointed out tht it was just a redraw from a much earlier piece from the artist so I was like “oh okay” and moved on.

The only other thing I can think of is the Molly art thing, where I said I was surprised by more female-presenting Molly fanart mostly because the way I remember Molly, despite being nb, he usually presented as male and went by he/him. I wasn’t trying to diss those takes on him, or say they were wrong. I was trying to express how it sometimes surprises me? I hoped that my wording would convey that (I’m neither nb nor as well versed in it to say much in the matter, so mostly I was curious about how other people perceived that). Nonetheless, I can totally see how that would be harmful to others and, for that, I truly apologize if my wording or my lack of knowledge were harmful.

The first thing, mostly, I think is where context is necessary because it didn’t just come out of nowhere. I wasn’t saying “its misogynist to draw a man kissing another man’s cheek”. My intent there was “this feels like part of a trend —that has been talked about before in the server— where ppl erase female characters”. There is where context matters because it’s not that I was annoyed by the art itself. Regardless, though, I can see that I was probably overreacting and that sharing that art wasn’t the right way to go about it.

It’s not an excuse, but I’m new to discord servers (this is my first one) and I had the wrong idea about how private it was or how harmful it could be to others if you’re not careful with what you share. I will try to learn and do better, though, because it mortifies me that anyone was hurt by this.

In the end, though, all I can say is that I am sorry, I am aware that I fucked up and I really hope to do better in the future. I never intended to put more negativity out into the world, but when you start ranting it can be so easy to be self-absorbed into your own anger and points of view and entirely cross the line. I hope I can grow and learn, and that I can still be a loving and creative part of this community. I love this ship —and many other ships, even if I don’t talk about them much or it took me a while to get into them— and I love this show, and this community and it is very important to me that it’s clear that, even if I fail sometimes, I love you all and I am terribly sorry for any harm I might have caused or allowed to happen.

Most people in the server —it was around 100 ppl tops— are very nice people. When this was brought up in the server a couple days ago, before the whole twitter thing, most people were super apologetic and willing to grow and learn and do better. The server, btw, is closing down by choice of the creator and main mod, who has also posted an apology about how out of hand things got. So I hope everyone can see this as a growing opportunity and know that there’s still so much love to go around.

god I already know this is gonna get so fuckign long bc i’m a huge nerd and can never shut up abt personality analyzation. on tht note , if anyone ever wants to talk mbti or just have me overanalyze ur muse’s personality..... hmu bc i physically cannot shut up abt it

charles is an intp ! i’ve probably said this before & it’s like weirdly integral to my portrayal of him ( or at least gives a lot of insight into it ) so for those of you who don’t know what mbti is at All , it’s a personality typology theory that divides human personalities into four categories : introverts / extroverts , intuitives / sensors , thinkers / feelers , and judgers / perceivers. therefore , charles is an introvert intuitive thinker perceiver , or if you want to get real deep & use cognitive function theories , he uses Ti ( introverted thinking ) , Ne ( extroverted intuition ) , Si ( introverted sensing ) , and Fe ( extroverted feeling ) in that order.

if you read about the basic characteristics of an intp , the personality type ( sometimes nicknamed “ the logician ” ) is known for being “ philosophical innovators, fascinated by logical analysis, systems, and design. They are preoccupied with theory, and search for the universal law behind everything they see. They want to understand the unifying themes of life, in all their complexity. ” source

the description above is charles to a T , and i’ll explain why ! he’s a huge introvert. by no means does he gain energy from social gatherings , and he’s far more content to explore the contents of his own mind than to explore the minds of others. he’s an intuitive , which means he’s more concerned with abstract , unconventional ideas , and can be quite detached from the world around him , while a sensor would be focused on reality and their concrete senses. he’s metaphorical , dreamy , non - traditional , and unfocused ( though that is not solely an N trait ). he’s a thinker , which means he relies on logic & facts more than his own feelings or the feelings of those around him. lastly , he’s a perceiver , meaning he prefers to work at his own pace without rigid structure , and prefers open endedness over set plans and commitments.

I know that’s a lot , but it makes a lot of sense when you read about it. now , to get deeper , mbti is supported by the theory of cognitive functions ( Ti > Ne > Si > Fe for charles as I mentioned earlier ). the whole idea is that every personality type uses a “ function stack ” of different modes of thinking / interacting with / viewing the world , and there are four predominant functions per type that are all accessed at decreasing levels of development. the first function is the most developed , the last is the least. so , without further ado , here’s charles’s personality type explained by his four functions. i’ve taken the most useful parts of the article on the following website. source

INTPs’ Dominant Function: Introverted Thinking (Ti)

Ti involves the application of logic and reason for the sake of understanding a given situation, system, or problem. INTPs use Ti to bring structure and order to their inner world, granting them a strong sense of inner control. Inwardly, INTPs are highly self-disciplined, working to effectively manage their thoughts and their lives. The disciplined nature of their Ti compels INTPs to frame many things as a goal or challenge. These challenges may be physical (e.g., trying to achieve an ideal state of health or fitness), intellectual, practical, psychoemotional (e.g., becoming self-actualized), or later in their development, interpersonal (e.g., “perfecting” a relationship or becoming a skilled lover). In order to succeed in these personal challenges, INTPs are apt to impose rules on themselves. However, because of the wayward influence of their auxiliary Ne, they commonly end up breaking or sabotaging them.

INTPs are also less interested in working with facts than with ideas. Jung writes: “His ideas have their origin not in objective data, but in his subjective foundation.” INTPs are constantly digging into the background of their own thoughts in order to better understand their origins and to ensure their thinking is founded on solid reasoning. They see it pointless to try to build theories on a dubious conceptual platform.

INTPs often find it easier to identify inconsistencies or logical shortcomings—to assert what is not true—than to identify and confidently assert what is true. They can quickly locate inconsistencies or logical shortcomings in a given theory or argument. They excel when it comes to identifying exceptions or imagining scenarios in which the proposed explanation could breakdown. Due to their sensitivity to theoretical exceptions, they can be quick to throw theories and start from scratch. INTJs, by contrast, seem less deterred by ostensible exceptions, perhaps feeling that they will eventually be explained or otherwise rectified.

When functioning constructively, INTPs, like INFPs, often employ a trial-and-error sort of approach to building their theories and ideas. INTPs start with a given (Ti) and then use their auxiliary Ne to explore various connections and possibilities. They also integrate past experiences and acquired knowledge through their tertiary Si. It is usually only after years of toying with ideas that something resembling a systematic and coherent theory may start to emerge.

INTPs’ Auxiliary Function: Extraverted Intuition (Ne)

INTPs use Extraverted Intuition (Ne) as their auxiliary function. Ne can function either perceptively or expressively. The verbal expression of Ne amounts to something like “brainstorming aloud.” When orating, INTPs may not always seem to “have a point” as they haphazardly drift from one idea to the next. Even ideas that seem inwardly logical and sensible INTPs may suddenly sound incoherent when they attempt to convey them through their Ne.

In its receptive role, Ne prompts INTPs to gather information. It goes beyond or looks behind sense data, allowing INTPs to discern otherwise hidden patterns, possibilities, and potentials. Their Ne is constantly scanning for relationships or patterns within a pool of facts, ideas or experiences. INTPs commonly use this receptive side of their Ne in activities such as reading, researching, and conversation. They enjoy asking questions that allow them to gain insight or knowledge from others, making INTPs good facilitators of conversation.

INTPs may also use their Ne to sniff out intriguing possibilities. They commonly enjoy and assume the role of wanderer or seeker, rarely knowing in advance exactly what they are seeking.

Ne also confers an open-mindedness, helping INTPs see truth on both sides of an issue without forming unwarranted judgments or premature conclusions. More specifically, their Ne can be seen as contributing to their openness to alternative or Bohemian lifestyles. INTPs are those most likely to suddenly become vegetarians, join a commune, or decide to live out of the back of a van. They are drawn to the idea and challenges of an unconventional lifestyle.

Like other NPs, INTPs often have a love-hate relationship with their Ne. They love the fact that it helps them remain open-minded and grasp the bigger picture. But living with Ne also has its challenges. For one, it can make it difficult for INTPs to arrive at firm conclusions or make important decisions. It often seems that at the very moment they are feeling good about a given conclusion or decision, their Ne steps in and causes them to start doubting it again. This has obvious implications for INTPs who are trying to find their niche in the world. This can leave them feeling discouraged and restless, worried that they may never find what they are looking for. They may feel frustrated by their seeming lack of progress toward anything substantial. The fact is that INTPs desperately want to produce something of lasting worth or value, but they also want to ensure they get it right. They don’t want to leave any stone unturned before arriving at a conclusion. While INTPs typically enjoy this quest for truth, there comes a point when they begin to feel the pressures of life impinging on them. Questions about careers and relationships loom large as they enter their late twenties and thirties. This can be frustrating to INTPs as they feel like life is requiring them to make decisions long before they are ready. As is true of all IN types, they feel that life would be far better if they weren’t forced to consider practical concerns.

INTPs’ Tertiary Function: Introverted Sensing (Si)

Unlike Ne (or Se), INTPs’ tertiary function, Introverted Sensing (Si), is a conservative function. It involves an attachment to past experiences and past precedent—to the routine, familiar, and predictable. Types with Si in their functional stack, including INTPs, tend to eat a fairly routine or consistent diet, “eating to live” rather than “living to eat.” Si types are not only conservative with regard to their diet, but with respect to the material world in general. They tend to be savers rather than spenders, seeing excessive material consumption as unnecessary, or perhaps even immoral.

Like other Si types, INTPs also have a diminished need for novel physical pleasures, lavish surroundings, or material comforts. They are minimalists to the core, relatively unconcerned with their physical surroundings.

INTPs’ Inferior Function: Extraverted Feeling (Fe)

Last but not least, Extraverted Feeling (Fe) serves as INTPs’ inferior function. While having inferior feeling doesn’t make INTPs emotionless robots, their feelings do seem to have a mind of their own, often coming and going as they please. Realizing how hard it can be to voluntarily contact or summon their emotions, INTPs tend to feel awkward and uneasy in emotional situations. Although they may be cognitively aware of the appropriate emotional response, if they’re unable to directly tap into their feelings, INTPs can appear clumsy, mechanical, or disingenuous. This can be unsettling to others who are looking for outward signs of authentic emotion from the INTP.

Fe is also concerned with maintaining social harmony. While Ti and Ne may inspire INTPs to function as provocateurs, their Fe encourages them to operate as peacemakers. Far more often than INTJs, INTPs will “bite their tongue” in order to avoid hurting or offending others. Doing so also minimizes the likelihood of emotionally-volatile situations which can engender anxiety and disquiet in this type.

Another aim of Fe involves establishing emotional rapport and connection with others. But again, while INTPs may do at fair job at reading others’ emotions, they may fail to actually “feel” what the other person is feeling. This is why INTPs are sometimes described as “outwardly warm, but inwardly cold or calculating.” Fe can be a bit of an act in the first place (e.g., political glad-handing), but this seems particularly commonplace among INTPs and ISTPs. Although casual social engagement may help them feel good for a while, perhaps even give them an ego boost, without sufficient Ti stimulation, it won’t be long before they’re scoping out the nearest exit.

Finally, it’s not unusual for INTPs to oscillate through phases in which they feel they don’t need other people at all. Especially when their work life is running on all cylinders, they can feel invigorated and invincible. But the psyche will only permit this sort of Ti lopsidedness for so long. Eventually, INTPs start feeling a bit lonely or empty, sensing that something important is missing from their lives. This prompts them to reinitiate contact with others, at least until they feel compelled to reassert their independence. Striking a balance between their independence (Ti) and relationships (Fe) can thus constitute a lifelong challenge for this personality type.

Also, there is white paint in car in the place she hit it. We asked for her insurance, but she didn't have it in that moment. We wrote the plate number and took some quick pictures. I called my insurance to report the accident. In the night, when she returned home, we asked for her insurance, but she refused. We called the police and she agreed to give us her insurance information. In fact, she wrote the information herself. I called her insurance(Geico) the next day, and she had already made a claim, and she only said she didn't hit my car; she didn't give more details. My dad gave his version of the accident with a lot of details, but she didn't do it. Her Insurance tried to contact her, but there is no answer from her. I see her everyday, so I am sure is not responding on purpose. Now, her insurance called me and told me that because she is not responding, there is no way to confirm she was involved in the accident. therefore, they denied liability. I need to renew my car insurance in the next few days but I am also moving to a new address in under 3 weeks time. This new address offers me much cheaper car insurance. I have several years no claims for my driving, most of which are through policies with Direct Line. I haven't had health insurance since I turned 18 and no longer qualified for my family's health insurance plan. I wasn't really concerned at the time, but now that its been a few years (I am almost 21 now), I am in need of dental care. My problem is that I don't know what my health insurance options currently are. I am a college student, although my community college does not offer any health plans for students. I do have a part time job at a daycare that offers health insurance, however its price is far too high for my income. The insurance company is Aetna, and would cost me $16.92 for the lowest medical option, plus $4.61 for dental. So that would cost me $21.53 weekly, which doesn't sound too bad, except I only earn about $120 every two weeks....reducing my paychecks to about only $76 every two weeks....which just isn't enough for me to live on considering that I pay for my own food and everything else needed. So.... does anyone know of health insurance companies that have options for community college students like me? I know state insurance may be an option, but I have a feeling I don't qualify for that since I'm not legally an independent, yet I can't afford to move out and become independent.
