Good Doctor Finale SPOILERS
The writers really expect me to give a shit about Lea and Shaun after they killed who they killed?!!
Were those two REALLY supposed to make me feel better because Nooo. I have so much beef with this show right now. I probably won’t even watch the next season because WHAT IS THE POINT.
First of all they did Carly HELLA wrong. She was a great character and a nice pairing with Shaun.
Second why do they keep fucking with Claire and her loved ones. Can my girl ever just be happy damn.
Third I really don’t give a shit about Morgan she is the worst character why not kill her off.😒😒😒 Idc she’s not redeemable no matter how much they try to make her relatable.
Finally After all the things Lea said to Shaun and vise versa. I dont seee this relationship working out. I feel like both Shaun and Lea deserve someone better. She shouldn’t feel obligated (even though she said she doesn’t) to date him, and she shouldn’t feel bad for saying no. Shaun deserves someone who doesn’t view him as a handicap, or a struggle. He deserves someone who appreciates ALL of him.
With that being said fuck this show, I am done. They killed an amazing character for no reason. It is bullshit. I’m out.✌🏾

Rules: Pick 5 shows, then answer the following questions. Don’t cheat. Tag 10 (or however many) people.
Tagged by @bran-loaf thanks darling! 💓
1. Shadowhunters
2. The Good Doctor
3. La Casa de Papel
4. Skam Italia
5. Bates Motel
i. Who is your favourite character in 2?
Definitely Shaun Murphy
ii. Who is your least favourite character in 1?
Probably Jonathan lmao cause he’s a pain in the ass but also from the good guys it’ll be Simon
iii. What is your favourite episode of 4?
Definitely where Eleonora en Edoardo tie the knot
iv. What is your favourite season of 5?
The last one, it never got boring
v. Who is your favourite couple in 3?
Absolutely love Sergio and Lisboa’s relationship🥺💓
vi. Who is your favourite couple in 2?
I ship Claire and Dr. Melendez so hard but since they’re not a couple yet I’d say Shaun and Carly
vii. What is your favourite episode of 1?
The episode with magnus and alec’s wedding🥺💓
viii. What is your favourite episode of 5?
Probably the one with Rihanna in it because it showed a lot of things that happened in the movie
ix. What is your favourite season of 2?
Probably the first one 💓
x. How long have you watched 1?
It was like three years ago before the first season ended I think
xi. How did you become interested in 3?
My brother said it was a good one and we all started watching it as a family and it blew my mind, and also I loved the professor and Tokyo right away (and now I have a love-hate relationship with her lol)
xii. Who is your favourite actor in 4?
Actor, hmm probably Rocco, I don’t know if that’s his name I can’t remember but he’s the guy who played nico, and actress obviously Benedetta 💓
xiii. Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?
I think i prefer the good doctor, the acting, the lessons they teach me throughout the seasons it’s just too good
xiv. Which have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?
I think La Casa de Papel has more episodes but I’ve watched some of the Shadowhunters’ episodes two times
xv. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
Definitely Eleonora, being as pretty and wise? But also loving your friends and family that much? Yep that’s me
xvi. Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?
I don’t think so, money heist is more of an action and suspense show, and SKAM italia is more of a teenage drama
xvii. Pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?
Izzy And Clary, I don’t even know why izzy is a straight character she’s a bisexual icon for me bYE
xviii. Overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?
I think Bates Motel has a better storyline but the plot twists from La Casa de Papel bring a lot of excitement to it so to me it’s 60/40 slightly better on Bates
xix. Which has the better theme music, 2 or 4?
Skam doesnt even have a theme does it?
Tagging: @roger-taylor-owns-my-wigg @isitstraightvodka @deacytits @queenscoolcat and anyone who feels bored enough to do this💚

Can you believe a lot of the fandom don't like Sharly just because Jasika is older than Freddie?? Like so many great couples on TV are played by actors way older than their female counterparts, methinks some double standards are at play here. Like Sharly is sweet and adorable and mature, what's not to love?!
Tumblr media
Age difference as a reason to dislike a pairing (which is stupid btw) is relevant only when the woman is older than the man? Hmmmm, antis be like that.
I feel like if you really love Shaun you would want a good person to be with him, right? And Carly has proved to be an excellent match for him. She’s been nothing but respectful, patient, understanding and sweet towards him from the moment they met. It’s all that matters to me. So much love for this character.

The Good Doctor: The Shaun/Lea Jar Of Heartbreak, Mixed Emotions, Questions & Answers
Tumblr media
Since they met in season one, Shaun Murphy & Lea Diallo have been something of an “interesting paring” of characters. Lea’s the messy and disheveled free spirit while Shaun the genius resident surgeon who’s organized with his specific rituals and how things should work.
If that isn’t the definition of opposite, I don’t know what is.
When she originally left in season one, there was a tiny hint that she may come back one day into Shaun’s life as she let him “borrow” her treasured signed baseball when she left for Hershey. When she returned in the season two premiere, I got the feeling from Shaun that he didn’t know what to think. He was just starting to adjust to a life without Lea in it and she just pops up out of nowhere. Season two was a complete mess for both characters as they tried adjusting to being roommates along with that was Lea’s new boyfriend or as I called it “Flavor Of The Week” Jake. The other major subplot was Shaun being moved from surgery to pathology by Dr. Han, which heavily upset Shaun, but something good came from it.
That being Carly.
Carly and Shaun got to working together in season two and became friends even. After Shaun’s meltdown, Dr. Han’s firing/resignation and Shaun’s rehiring, he scores a date with Carly which we see Shaun’s analysis of it in the season three premiere. Things between the pair go from good to bad and back again as Carly tries to adjust to Shaun’s idiosyncratic behaviors and for a short while, they make it work...until Lea pops back in conveniently needing a job. Shaun pleads to Dr. Glassman to hire Lea as their tech specialist and while he succeeds, I saw this as the first crack in the relationship between Shaun and Carly and the eventuality of a choice having to be made between Lea or Carly.
While I understand having that seemingly unbreakable bond with not only one of your first friends, but also your first love, Shaun had Carly, even though part of his brain couldn’t stop thinking of the possibility of being with Lea.
The two tipping points come at the mid-season break and a little while after. First, Shaun’s father is dying and he, Dr. Glassman, and Lea (yes Lea, not Carly...his girlfriend) go back to Wyoming to say goodbye. Going back to Wyoming brings a lot of emotions for Shaun...one of those being resentment towards his father at first. After his father dies, Shaun has a meltdown to which Lea puts her arms around her to calm him. While I understand Shaun and Lea’s special connection, I think it’s sending mixed signals to Shaun that there could be something with Lea.
The final tipping point is when the three went to the bar for karaoke and Carly noticed how Shaun was looking at Lea and she had decided she had enough and broke up with Shaun. Shaun at least admitted while he loved Carly, he loves Lea more.
Personally, I think Carly was more of a plot device to get to this point the show is currently at but I do see how they did mesh well at times.
Shaun then and there decided he was going to swing for the fence and tell Lea how he truly felt about her. He told Lea he loved her and she said she loved him....and then the “but” came. Episode 16 of this current season was a bit of a turning point as while Lea does love him, she doesn’t want to throw her burdens onto him which is a reasonable argument for Lea to make. Episode 17 sees Shaun trying to yet again force the situation with Lea which explodes in his face.
The short trailer for episode 18 titled “Hearbreak” shows the many people in Shaun’s life trying to help him cope with things and he even states “Lea was special.” We even see Shaun in a bit of a broken state. When Shaun walks out and says he’s going home, Melendez confronts him outside ordering him to go back to work or he’s pretty much fired. This coming episode will be a turning point for the entire season and possibly set up the two-part season finale. We’ve seen Shaun come back from being fired, but is Shaun on a road with no return in his relentless pursuit of Lea’s heart?
There’s a lot of questions still out there and I hope the final three episodes answers them...and gives Shaun the happy ending I think he deserves because I think Lea really does love him, but isn’t in the right place right now for an actual relationship because she’s afraid if they do, then they lose that special bond they’ve created since they met in season one.

Soooo I'm over Lea/Shaun. Episode 17(?) left a bad taste in my mouth. Regardless to the reasoning, Lea is under no obligation to go on a date with Shaun. She's said it at least twice that she doesn't want to pursue a romantic relationship with him. It feels like they're badgering her into seeing potential future with him. When does no mean no? I also think the re-emergence of his feelings for Lea came a little out of left field regarding the development w/Carly. But that's a whole other thing.
(cont.)
Not sure any of this makes sense but I just feel like Shuan is infatuated with Lea. Through their friendship, she has introduced him to new things and experiences that he hadn't considered before. She treated him like a person and not a handicapped child. I think their friendship helped him become a more well rounded person, not a better one per say. Idk, when I look at their relationship and Claire/Melendez, there seems to be clear differences.
Yes, I agree. I by no way mean that Shaun had any right to act the way he did when Lea rejected him and yeah there are definitley huge differences between Shea and Melendaire.
I think what got under my skin is that the writers could have written Shaun experiencing a romantic relationship for the first time in such a different way e.g. not through a love triangle Lea/Shaun/Carly and having him lash out the way he did when he yelled at Lea in the parking garage. I dislike how they sabotaged both potential relationships with Carly and Lea and now in the finale are expecting everyone to root for Shaun and Lea as a romantic pairing going forward. Like should we just forget Shaun’s behaviour in regards to Lea or forget that Carly as a character even existed after she had served her purpose as Shaun’s love interest? To be honest, I’m not even sure if I’m making sense. I’m just not happy with what the writers did with Lea/Shaun/Carly this season :\
